So simple a pattern but so effective I have started one in Spring Green (Stylecraft) and will be making one in Peach-Orange (paintbox). The green one has a row of boxes and 2 rows of shells - it's only 90 minutes old!
@@KathyDouglass I.m not on FB, but I.m sure we can work something out. It may be quite a while before they're both finished. The green one is only 8 inches long at the moment and I don't even have the peach/orange yarn ordered yet, let alone in my posession!
i'M MAKING THE GREEN ONE FOR A CHILD, SO IT'S ONLY GOT 6 SHELLS. iT IS 14 INCHES WIDE AND STILL HAS THE BORDER TO BE ADDED. Maybe I should have reduced it to 5 shells, but as I've done 24 rows I'm not going to frog it and start again! LOL!!!

Multiple of 10 then add another 10. Each 10 gives 1 shell and 3 posts. However you need a further 3 posts and a box on each side

You would need to increase or decrease in groups of 10 chains

Is there a multiple? I would love to use this pattern to make a small, light weight blanket. Such a beautiful pattern!! ❤️
The multiple is 10, then you need an additional 10 for the extra three double crochet posts and to make the boxes at each end of each row.
