I can see how the muck can build up, but those rear vents look like they've never been cleaned in their life. Another amazing turnaround Scottie, I've missed your videos of late.
Recently I’ve found myself saying ‘that’s pure neglect’ while looking at a friends car with a minging interior. Really enjoyed that one, have a great weekend.
Your right in saying leather needs cleaning, after I got my bmw it was 11 years old, Its got dove grey leather and after going over it with a sprey bottle of got water and washing powder and a sponge, they came out a completely different colour, and they where satin as you said, where dirty they where shiny. Then just used some leather treatment (meguiars from memory) to soften them a bit.
Just did my x5 last weekend. Used the Dual Action Polisher hack on the carpets, just wow, the crap that the hoover was unable to get up alone was insane and carpet looked 10x better afterwards. Definitely recommend 👌
Another quality video of a job well done. One thing I didn’t see and maybe it was done off camera, is when cleaning the windscreen with your glass cleaner, I usually clean the wiper blades at the same time, otherwise all the grit and grime that’s stuck to the blades then gets transferred to the clean screen as soon as you use the wipers. I’m sure you probably do this, but if not, maybe you’ll consider it as a tip. I get a clean microfibre cloth, spray my glass cleaner onto a patch, pinch the blade with the soaked cloth, and wipe along the length of the blade. You’ll be amazed what comes off. See you in the next one 👍
Just a little note for you, can you have a look at your volume levels in editing? I can't hear you when you're talking especially at 8:58, then when the music comes on, it's extremely loud. I'm finding myself having to adjust the volume all the way through the video which as you can understand is a bit annoying. Love the videos mate.
Another success, Nice to see you back. Sound quality wasn't great in places !!! You asked what viewers looking forward to... Im looking forward to my first round of Radiotherapy starting on the 30th March.
Love the work Gary!! Try using a magic eraser with the window cleaner sprayed on it then the cloths. Especially on a smokers car. Watch the colour change...
One thing I would suggest is especially with a car that dirty.Pop off the speaker covers, especially those sub.Covers under the seats and very lightly brush them.Speakers with a very soft brush like a China, bristle paintbrush and then vacuum it without touching the speaker.I definitely wouldn't hit it with steam. That's for sure. They have paper cones. That steam will blast right through those cones. Even thru a cover. But looks a million times Is better I have the same vehicle just In the u s but mine is immaculate I definitely learned some new moves cleaning from you thanks man
Nice to see another well used X5, ours puts up with a lot of abuse from kids & dogs. Takes so long to clean these big old buses properly though. Top vid as always sir!
Congratulations to you both Gary, I already knew you were engaged 2 and a half years ago but that's brilliant mate, very pleased for you, hope everything goes well for you😎 And yes I am looking forward to a holiday in August this year
Thanks Gary, you've been missed. Credit to the owner for recognising the problem early and doing something about it. We've seen a lot worse on Autoshine.
Great vid pal love the big x5 terrible how some people can let their car get in such a state my private hire taxi skoda octavia is kept to a great condition and is reflected when I trade them in by the remark of wouldn't know it was used as a taxi wee bit of effort to maintain a good finish plenty of micro cloths baby wipes and general all purpose cleaners and a mix of zoflora as a fragrance spray along with good shark hand held vacuum all the best for the big day another man down lol plans for this year to keep on health having been diagnosed type 2 diabetes last Oct 7st down 3 to go fading away to a mountain lol great to see ye back 👍
Mazal tov on the nuptuals, Gar! I'm going to do as best as I can to go to Las Vegas this summer. I haven't been since before COVID. It's so hot out there in summer they consider it their off season and everything is cheaper.
Before I saw this video, I was already feeling quite positive for 2022, not sure why, but now more new Autoshine videos are appearing, this has confirmed it. This car must’ve taken quite a while to do, as either the time lapse was put on a faster speed and/or you had six weetabix’s for breakfast 🤣 Can I ask what steam cleaner you use, and also clothes for cleaning the windows. I remember you did mention about getting specific glass cleaning fibre clothes but don’t recall there being any links. But can you get these type of clothes from supermarkets or even Halfords or Euro Car parts? Because I can’t wait and just want to buy them now! If not do you (or anyone) have recommendations for ones of Amazon? I’m finding it harder to judge, looking through all the conflicting reviews! Great video, and great to see you back 😁
I think they're regular microfibre cloths which you can pick up in any supermarket IIRC. It's the glass cleaner he uses that's a bit different, sourced from a glazing company I think.
All the very best to you and Amy on your big day next month I remember when we were chatting in September 2020 outside viva and you was getting your licence for wedding chapel
I heard you say that you're getting married. Congratulations! Nothing like a good woman to make a good man work even harder. Hope you enjoy your new lives together.
Plans for 2022? This may not sound that ambitious but I hope to get my bike back in good condition and follow Dom Whiting on a ‘Drum n Bass on a bike’ tour somewhere (maybe do a few if I’m feeling fit). But also you’ve reminded how often I’ve been saying I’ve got to visit Scotland again. I’m ever been once for a quick weekend around Edinburgh. But just the drive, although tiring, the wonderful views I just loved.
Have you ever tried EZ car care products. I find then good value and the ceramic wax is awesome. Brilliant video again. Get some dirty buggers out there driving about. 👍
Thank you for videos. A feedback: Music is so loud comparing to your voice, so we have to adjust the volume several times during the video, may be there is a way to adjust them while editing???
liking the videos you do but 1 question do you actually get time to clean your own car and is to the same standard or do you loose interest with cleaning cars every day
Hi Gary, Amy, Moose. Hope you are all well. I'm not a beemer fan but this is a really good looking car, especially without the filth. Do you have a place where all your products are listed? Best of luck with the wedding. Will you be wearing the plaid, kilt? Thanks for sharing. Stay safe and keep up the awesome work. :)
Do you have any recommendations to clean console buttons that someone spilled a sticky drink on? It’s a Mazda CX-5 and the navigation button sticks now
Good job!👍May ask you a question ? How much would you charge for such job? Just curious cause i myself also do similar job for a taxi cie, maybe not as much detailing as this one but, pretty similar? Keep up the good work! 🤙
Did you ever have problems after washing the engine bay like this (especially with the pressure washer)? Thanks for the good vids always and greetings from germany :)
Hi there, depends on the car average is probably 10 to 15, autosmart is the name of the company and tardis is the name of the product for the asphalt remover
Bro, all sweet and sound, just the music is so loud comparing the voice when you speak. Make sure it’s the same level when you editing the video. Volume up and down 16x in a video is killing my gf. Love from Belfast!
I always learn something new. Thanks for the great video! How do some people get cars so dirty? The door pulls inside were filthy! Gross! Do they not wash their hands ever? 🤢🤢
Did Gary just say, "Hairier than a French chic's armpits?" I laughed out loud. Hilarious. I love his slang expressions.
That's racist. Or sexist. Or some shit 🤣
@@jasoncdebussy or worse, French 😅
I can see how the muck can build up, but those rear vents look like they've never been cleaned in their life. Another amazing turnaround Scottie, I've missed your videos of late.
Perfect job! Wish you were in my country... your work is many levels above the rest!
Welcome back, addictive and satisfying detailer of all time .... legend
It's great to see you back again Gary, you did a great job on the BMW, it's great to hear your one liners, congrats on the big day,
Great to see you back mate! I really miss your weekly cleaning videos like this one, keep up the good work.
Recently I’ve found myself saying ‘that’s pure neglect’ while looking at a friends car with a minging interior. Really enjoyed that one, have a great weekend.
Where the heck have you been? Good to see you back mate, and on the job keep them coming, please.
Congratulations for the Big Day. Good to hear your usual music choice is back too.....lovin it!

Good to see you back Gary , always enjoy watching your videos , you always do a fantastic clean

The armpit joke was hilarious. I had to rewind it a couple of times to hear it again 😆 🤣 😂
Me too!

It's something I do try and sort, I use multiple cameras but I'm crap at editing so trying to mesh it all together at times doesn't work out great
@@autoshineblackpool we appreciate the effort 👍
@@autoshineblackpool would just dump the Music full stop Gary.
Congrats to you guys I bet moose is happy to have a mom.
Congrats on getting married soon and all the best! Been following your channel for a while and enjoy watching your videos very much!

I respect these videos so much. How you remember to move the camera when you’re in the zone I can’t even use my phone to get content I always forget 😂
Those comfort seats are THE most comfortable seat I’ve ever had!
Love the work Gary!! Try using a magic eraser with the window cleaner sprayed on it then the cloths. Especially on a smokers car. Watch the colour change...

Have you had experience of French armpits! Also never go in dry, fantastic advice 👏. Good to have you back 😀
Only in adult videos 😬
I'm glad your back mate!!! We missed u 😔 😢 but looking forward to more videos 📹 😀

Great video Gary! Hopefully I'll be headibg to Fort William later this year 👍
I'm the opposite. The interior of my car and all the filters are immaculate... the exterior... not so much at the moment.
Great work!
You’ve done such a good job I hope they appreciate it and keep on top of it mate
I never thought I'd give a thumbs down until today ..you earned it
Good that you are back! The music volume is a bit on the high side for this headphone user ;-)
Thats a sweet sweet looking bmw! Great job by the detailer too :-P
LRC made me laugh! It also stands for London Rubber Company, makers of Durex!
Talking of which "...so you're not going in dry!!"

5:39 ahh the face of pure enjoyment haha🤣
Great video Gary. BMW interiors always come up nice I think, none of that velcro carpet shit.
Agreed

18:33 That's true. Example don't try to clean piano black trim with paper towel because it would make the little scratches 🤔
Oh congratulations! Have a happy wedding!

Thank you 😊
Love your vids! Good luck on your big day!
Congrats on the upcoming marriage gary hope to see more videos soon
There's something about the way a Scotsman says "filthy" that really makes something sound disgusting.
Hi, it's great to see you again. I was waiting for the new video :-)

The further north you go the nicer it gets, I recommend heading up round loch lomond and then head to fort william.
Nice to see you back
149k subs congratulations mate
Gary please list your tool and cleaning products.thanks David in Stirling.xx
That car was goppin'.
Been a while ... Nice one man.
It is acctually very easy to remove seatbelts, it's done on the seat, down by the rail... just 1 bolt... it is the samo for BMWs from 2005 on...

“Hairier than a French chick’s armpit”. I’m dying !!! 😂😂😂😂😂
"Hairier than a French Chick's armpit" ... You almost made me spit my ice cream all over my keyboard🤣
I sometimes worry about the thoughts that come into my head 😂
Que pasada, gran trabajo, saludos desde Madrid (España)
I bet she’s got horses too!
Wow hope you have a great wedding mate. I am getting married in June 😍👊🏻

Get those cars clean !😁

Great video
Great video like always, but i really starting to wonder what Yfood isn't sponsoring? 😁
Give the stuff at try. Its genuinely really nice 😊
This years challenge will be driving my EV from DK to Devon and back.
Do you have any recommendations to clean console buttons that someone spilled a sticky drink on? It’s a Mazda CX-5 and the navigation button sticks now
Nice job..
Hi if you haven't got a wet and dry Hoover. How would u advise getting the wetness out of seats and carpets.
Yfoods? Or wife hoods? I love the scottish accent :) great vid as always
What product are you using to re-black and dress the tires?
nice work
I'm surprised you haven't got one of them high powered air blowers for drying cars off
I’ve got one I just can’t be bothered setting it all up tbh
How much would a valet like this cost? (love the work by the way)
Two things. How many clothes You usually use to clean one car ? And what do You use to disolve asphalt dots ( tardis is name of producer)?
Hi there, depends on the car average is probably 10 to 15, autosmart is the name of the company and tardis is the name of the product for the asphalt remover
When unplugging the air bags under the seats so you have to remove the battery leads first ??
Just a quick question, have you every used star drops all round cleaner on cars, ran out of g101 and tried it, not bad for a quid.
Bro, all sweet and sound, just the music is so loud comparing the voice when you speak. Make sure it’s the same level when you editing the video. Volume up and down 16x in a video is killing my gf. Love from Belfast!
What shampoo do you use. Thanks
You should name these drinks "Felthy Spells". I'd buy them 😄
I always learn something new. Thanks for the great video! How do some people get cars so dirty? The door pulls inside were filthy! Gross! Do they not wash their hands ever? 🤢🤢
I had the same thought. Like what are you touching? Do you rub your hands on the road and then get in?
What’s the grille under the driver seat for? Is it a subwoofer for the audio system?
That's exactly what it's for
normally how long you take to clean a car like this?
How much do you charge for a full valet
which tyre shine are you using if you don't mind me asking?. Thanks.
