When my son was 4, he always said he wanted a sad, angry, or happy meal depending on what he felt at the time. Liberals have the emotional maturity of a 4 year old.
Say I have the maturity of a 4 year old. But I really like the idea of having food catered to me based on what I'm feeling. I think your son was onto something. Too bad as I know Burger King the meals will just be the same slop with different packaging. I know, I'm really late to this party... but Woke is almost a perfect term for the Woke community...Just look up the stages of sleep deprivation. They are in the ending stages where Delusions, Paranoia, Inability to Interpret Realty, and Psychosis have taken over. While lack of sleep in and of it's self might not be able to kill a person... It does start to destroy the body and mind, which leads to death. The Woke movement can not sustain it's self.

Yeah dude I got booted out of a DM guild because I was trying to refute the "orcs are black people" thing. At first I rolled my eyes and bit my tongue and then they started trying to go after Tolkien so I felt like I had to say something. Also Jeremy Crawford is a total loser. I'm actually really worried about the future of DnD.
Now orcs are cultural heroes? LoTR is one of the few "bipartisan" things we have left. Hopefully this will wake up a few more people.

Pathfinder, shadowrun maybe? Idk I've been out of tabletop for a while but there were options, in addition to just homebrewing your own rpg or getting old books secondhand and using the older (better) rules. That's where it came from in the first place after all.
I wouldn't worry about the future of D&D. I stopped worrying about it when it became clear that WoTC didn't give a crap about it because no matter what happens with D&D, M:tG is their main license to print money. They have continually created new and better versions of D&D several times only to give up on them and give it away for free to their competitors, because the socialists working for them think everything should be free. Then with 5th edition they stopped trying to innovate and just decided it was better to pander to the SJW crowd on social media.

Ben & Jerrys had welcome refugees on their ice cream a couple of years ago here in the UK. Never bought it since.
Their "de-fund the police" campaign was the final straw for us.
Same in Sweden, except they also said we should accept adult Afghan males as child refugees. All of Unilever (who owns Ben & J) are on my personal blacklist.
I can buy other ice cream that's just a good for 1/3 the price per serving without any of the insufferable sanctimony. Gee, what a dilemma! What shall I do?

I would be very surprised if the directors (or the person[s] in charge of making fundamental decisions) of large companies like the ones mentioned in this video are guided by any higher ideology other than generating income. It just so happens that the marketing research they spend millions on has led to all of this conspicuous corporate altruism, regardless of their sincerity.

When you start looking into what smaller companies these large conglomerates own, you realise how deeply they are entwined into our everyday lives. It’s going to be difficult but, one by one, I’m going to stop buying their products and keep my money for companies that value their customers.
Good idea, but can take some painstaking research, as some of them can be pretty crafty.
Woke companies make me think they're more focused on social issues than putting out a quality product, so I avoid them. I don't want my tires flying off my car because Goodyear was more worried about "systemic racism" than making safe tires. Plus I don't want to financially support what ever cause they're going to put my money towards.
That's what was going on with SVB and look how they ended up.
Is there a complete list of "Woke" companies I can find?

I would settle for companies that just say "buy our stuff, it's good."
As for physical products, everything owned by P&G, Unilever, Hasbro, Disney, Coca Cola, etc. Is a good place to start. Other than that, just go over the huge umbrella corps, they own most of the woke companies anyway.

I took my kids to the Ben and Jerrys tour in VT back in the 80's was stunned to see a big sign about gay marriage and wokeness, very far out then and all their weirdness at the end of the tour. I never knew how far out they were as a company until that. This was before the internet.
Since then I never have bought B&J, especially knowing at least one got his start as stockbrokers in a very exclusive SJW town near me. Came from bigtime privilege like you cannot imagine, had more money when he was 10 than I ever had. I know very few of these wealthy libs that aren't complete hypocrites.

I agree entirely about the whole orc thing. I have been playing for years and this is the first I'd ever heard about them being connected in any way to any real-world people. They're green-skinned, hulking brutes, have literal tusks, and are extremely aggressive. No one I know has ever associated any of those traits with any race. If that's what you see in that description, you're the one who's racist.
That being said, I don't mind removing the alignment from the stat blocks because I have never viewed alignment as a nature thing, it's a nurture/cultural thing. I always took it as a suggestion. An orc raised by clerics of Pelor wouldn't be evil, and neither would a drow. So it's functionally a non-issue. I'm more annoyed at the need to apologize for an illusion people have created to have something to be offended about.
I'm off to build me a Cleric of Pelor Drow now, sun sensitivity be damned.

WOTC went woke starting back in about 2013? or so when they released the latest edition of D&D and made a painfully pathetic effort to eliminate all white males from their artwork in their books. It was really insulting and I stopped buying their products after about 30 years of loyalty to them. (Besides, the newest version of D&D sucks anyway compared to 4th edition, but that's just my humble opinion.) Problem is, I only found out later the company who makes the RPG that I'm playing now is almost more woke, if that's possible. If you run one of their games at a convention they actually make you sign an agreement not to rape women. Like that's something that happens. I'm not even kidding. It's literally insane.
Anytime one hears inclusive-ness and diversity, immediately insert anti- wh!te. It makes sense this way
I mean, its true. It's not about diversity or representation, it's just about anybody that's not White. Otherwise there'd be demand for more diversity in basketball. Also the term "people of color" was coined to describe literally everybody but White people.

Ben & Jerry's was always super woke and very politically active. It's been a major part of their branding since the beginning. They particularly were big proponents of gay marriage and spent a lot of money advertising and lobbying about that.

Alignment in many d&d games has a function as well for the character you are playing. Kill a lot of baddies and your alignment becomes good. Kill a lot of goodies and your alignment becomes evil. There's a ton of interesting game mechanics that can follow this.
