Robert Plant & Saving Grace "Four Sticks" (Page/Plant)

Four Sticks, from the fourth Led Zeppelin album. this was recorded at the White Rock Theatre, Hastings. The audio is fine throughout, and I think captures well how- incredibly after all these years - he still sings this complex song with incredible energy, skill, nuance, and style. However, only the last half or so of the visual footage is useable. For the first half I have used stills, before giving way to the useable filming, please be sure to watch the entire thing!
The song is complex especially because it alternates in time signature between 5 4 time for the verses, and 6 4 time for the other sections. They really make this strangeness work very well with this live performance, but apparently the challenge of playing it live meant that Led Zeppelin simply didn't play it at their gigs. However, there's an excellent live recording available on the "No Quarter" (Unledded) live CD, performed again with Jimmy Page, accompanied to brilliant, atmospheric effect by Moroccan musicians.

I saw Plant and Page in Pensacola, cant remember what year, but the two chicks that opened the show, playing harps, stole the show.
