Wearing your natural hair can never be a trend since its my hair it will never change. I totally disagree. Everyone can choose how to wear their hair. I was relaxed since age 7 to 32. Relaxers always burned my scalp no matter how I maintained, no scratching so I know its not for my scalp. Im loc'd now and my hair is free, its long and I don't manipulate it constantly.
She is correct be a natural right now is a trend and it is racially motivated because what has happened since the pandemic but yes you can be natural it's your choice some people like to be permed that's their choice but after a while like she said you get tired of being natural then you want a perm or if you are natural and you're not taking care of your natural hair it's still a problem
when i had a relaxer, the thing i hated the most was the mixed textures. when your hair is REALLY coarse and the relaxer makes your hair so straight, as soon as your scalp sweats a little the roots have already reverted. so if you comb at your roots, there's breakage where the line of demarcation is. and each time you get relaxer, they go over the hair that's already been relaxed. that makes the bonds weaker and leads to breakage, but if you stretch your relaxers, then you will have breakage from the stress on the straight hair when you are combing through the coarser textures. it's a lose-lose situation.
I never experienced that but I do know if you get them too close there is more overlap. I just got a relaxer 2 days ago after 12 weeks.barely any hair loss.mind you I maintain my hair deep conditioners and keep it moisturized...but everyone has different hair grades too.. The stylist is key...
Living in Vegas I haven't found any hair stylist here for black hair so I've viewed your videos to help grow my hair. First, I discovered black rice water is 10 times better than white rice (just like you said white rice can't stay on your hair long but I leave black rice water on for hours without any problems) Second, I use fenugreek as a daily (or couple times a week) oil it helps to stimulate my scalp and just between these two items it has grown my hair. Third, I wash my hair twice a week and I have added vinegar water in a bottle after rinsing out the shampoo (this is what my mother did for us kids growing up to grow our hair & I had the longest hair in class) Lastly, my hair has grown like crazy and I'm 68y/o I use the semi-color (non permanent) and I use vaseline (like my mother used on our hair growing up it seems to keep the hair from reverting back) Now I'm working on the rest of my body lol.
Crystal, this is my second time watching you. I watched you the other day coloring a customer's hair that was completely all gray. She wanted to color her hair for her birthday and she had a lot of hair as well. You did cut/trim it. I wish you lived here in MD so I could get my hair done by you on a regular. I'm natural now but used to get a perm. You are so knowledgeable. I don't trust people with my hair and have no idea what to do with it.
before putting relaxer on the hair for virgin hair or a retouch. Its correct to base before applying the chemical of relaxer to the hair to protect the root of the hair and scalp .
You nailed the cosmetology license and knowledge on the head. I haven’t been able to find anyone in close to 10 years that actually can perform the services I want; even when I have gone to the more than experienced operators I’ve left with botched hair cuts and perms that had breakage or I would have to walk them through how to wrap a perm fir long hair. You made a great point about the relaxers I wish you would go more in-depth about this and the proper “procedure” for doing a Jerry Curl. I’m no longer in the business but I want to know where a service went wrong when I was in school.
I am addicted to your videos. Your level of expertise is so beyond anything I've seen so far. I don't care if your videos are hours long, because I gain so much knowledge and insight! Thank you for caring and sharing!! 💗
Yep. I have a set schedule with my beautician/cosmetologist for my relaxers and she keeps up and won't change it unless absolutely necessary. And I am in rotation with her every 2 weeks.
@@octaviawalker823 I have a set schedule also. I go every 2 wks for a wash. Every 8wks for a relaxer. Trim every other relaxer (every 4 months). My hair is long and healthy. Only 1 source of heat and that is the hair dryer for roller sets. That regimen is perfect for me.
amazing technique + explanation. The relaxed hair "gurus" on here can learn several things from this. They loveee to convince people to stretch 13-22 weeks
Usually the extended relaxer stretching is for growth. But when I was relaxed I never went passed 12 weeks! Some people only relax their hair 2 to 3 times a year and dont have a lot of shedding because they do high maintenance with their hair.
@@sdanzey6962 same. 3c hair and I had my last relaxer in March I think. I dont even count the weeks/time. Just go to the stylist when jt gets too long.
It depends on how you Care for your hair between touch-ups. My hair is considered "4b-4c" and when I used to get my hair relaxed, my touch-ups were every 3 months. However, I always deep conditioned my hair at every shampoo snd did routine protein treatments every month. I also did not use a lot of heat on my hair--typically just 1x a week. My hair was thick and long-- often people thought it was a wig. I am natural now and have been for many years. My hair is even thicker now of course and has grown even longer bc it is healthier in its natural state.
You are teaching ! My mom is a Cosmologist! And I remember when I was in high school helping her wash hair. I loved going to the hair shows with her and learned a lot then as well. Thank you Crystal! I’m learning a lot! 😊
Sometimes the hair sheds, not b/c a touch up is needed, but b/c the hair needs protein, which relaxed hair lacks. I get mine relaxed every 3 months (12 weeks), trim then, protein treat with Aphogee (a lifesaver when I notice there's far too much shedding) & I use a lot of Olaplex #3 (olaplex conditioner & leave in, too). I only flat iron (use heat) once every 2 weeks (same as I wash my hair). When I notice my hair struggling to retain moisture, I steam it with Shea Butter Essentials coconut oil but I haven't had an issue with moisture in a long time. I swear by grease (Kuza Indian hemp), Jamaican Black Castor Oil & not overprocessing the hair (that's why I only dye it with a rinse when I'm relaxed). And I use a sulfate (stripping shampoo) biweekly b/c it strips my hair of all the dirt, oils, grease (& other products) I've used in that period. Just pay extremely close attention to your hair, be it relaxed or natural, and take cues from what your hair is doing & how it feels, to tell you how to treat it.
Scalp issues are common on my dad’s side. My scalp did so much better after I stopped relaxing. My cousin is like one of the last people in my family who still uses relaxers. None of my aunts or other cousins relax and my cousin said she thinks it’s the solution but she doesn’t want to go natural. She went to a dermatologist who convinced her to at least not relax as often. So now she does it 4 times a year or every 12 weeks and she said she had a lot of improvement in her scalp. Her hair looks thicker and better too. I gave her some Olaplex.
You said a mouthful, when you said eventually your hair won't grow back! I'm here to testify the truth. I'm in my sixties, my hair stopped growing 6 years ago, and it's still not growing, and I've been natural for years. I don't have a bad relaxer story. But, i do have bad hair braiding services stories. Oh, I have hair but it has no length and breaks constantly. I believed that I would always have hair. I do not know what to do. My goal now is to not go completely bald. Thank you for giving us your message loud and clear, with plain and easy to understand lectures 👌
I am so proud of you… just because you are great at hair dose not mean that you cannot put your family and yourself first. I am new as of today to your channel but I am so glad to know you.
Look how much hair came out her head and she didn't show her.... For me that's not a secret I need to know that.... That's why I always ask questions bc I know my hair better than they do
I’m so glad you mentioned the fact that everyone can not maintain natural hairstyles. I bought into the whole hoopla. It has been so difficult to keep up. Needless to say this is the last month I will be dealing with the natural look.
That was not shedded hair. That was tangled hair in which it should have been carefully detangled by your fingers or a large comb with gentle patience and care.
I love every time you speak about relaxer and natural hair because also will never rock a natural look, it doesn't work for my lifestyle and i love my relaxers it helps me take care of my hair and see growth of it.
I just stumbled across this video tonight. I went 6 months between relaxers while debating whether or not to continuing putting a rinse on my hair. My hair was shedding all over the place. Thanks to this video, I’ll never go beyond 12 weeks again. I’ll start paying attention to hair loss / shedding to determine how I should time appointments. Btw, I’ve officially stopped coloring my hair. My hair dresser encouraged me to leave it alone since I’d gone so long. She added a purple shampoo to the wash and the grays and browns are playing much better together. The gray isn’t so stark against it.
All the posters in the comments section sound like experts themselves probably because they have this hair texture and have had the same issues. Bless you for trying to help others.🙏💖
Absolutely righr. It is a trend. Hair must be taken care of properrly and consistently especially for children, teens and the whole family. Thank you Crystal.
This girl knows what she's doing. Beautiful work. I am a mix of ...gee I think I'll say everything, but I had always struggled with my tons of fine very curly hair when I was young. Massive !! My mother really did not know how to handle it, so for years she'd comb the knots out (2 hours worth) and when she was done, she'd put that frizzy hair right into a tight ponytail....with a rubber band (ucccckkk) They would not relax my hair at the salon, and I was told it was too dry and would break off. So, I learned to love my hair, treat it well, condition i.t And being gentle At 60 it has less volume, not as curly, but I still consider it massive, And if the frizzies come, it's leave in conditioner. Works wonders. So love your hair treat it well, and be gentle.
I'm not gonna lie watching you wash people hair makes me relax Luke I'm picturing me being in that chair it's the best part of all of it until your done and the person did a great job. I get super scared about people cutting my hair because it's really long and sometimes more than any that you tell them a trim Luke NO MORE than 2 inches and they cut it to much or they cut it croaked or something and I have tried different places many different places. How do I get over that fear
For a 15 week relaxer I would use the virgin relaxer instructions instead of a regular retouch instructions. Meaning I would go to mid strand of the new growth avoiding the line of demarcation and go back to the scalp area otherwise the scalp will process first from the body heat.
Unfortunately though you can’t speak for all relaxed women, because there is no one size fits all. I can’t relax every six/eight weeks or whatever. I have never relaxed less than every 12 weeks; I typically stretch for 16 weeks because over processing of hair is still a thing. My last stretch was 21 weeks, but it doesn’t mean I neglected my hair, no, I certainly did not, and my hair shedding is average noting unusual. My hair is long, thick, and healthy because I look after it very well. If relaxed more regularly than every 12 weeks, I know for a fact that my hair wouldn’t respond well with that.
Firstly I love your channel. I'm aware there's a thousand ways to do things. I watched the entire video, some very good tips. I meant to convey my concern in the form of questions, but listening and typing, the questions are posed as comments and statements. Thanks in advance Why didn't you didn't base her scalp, nor protect her processed hair at the line of demarcation. Your hair doesn't break bcus you don't retouch. That's like saying that people can't go back natural from a relaxer. With proper care this can be done successfully without a lot of shedding. You mentioned fiber-guard, relaxers are fortified differently but at the end of the day, it's still a chemical that changes the bonds and the structural integrity of the hair permanently. Detangling wet hair at the bowl, the small tooth comb just ripped fragile hair that already has no elasticity. Detangling would have been less harsh working the knots from the ends towards the roots. Pulling thru makes the tangling worse in my opinion. You advise wearing a sew-in on top of a relaxer. Relaxed hair has no elasticity and will dry out and break badly if wearing a sew-in on relaxed hair. There should be at least 1 to 1 1/2 inches of new growth to minimize breakage You said hair oil is great for the scalp, topicals on the scalp usually clogs the follicles and counteracts the duty of the sebaceous glands. maybe oil as an oil treatment. The molecular structure of most oil is to large to penetrate the cuticle and just sits on top of the hair and does nothing anyway. You told one viewer, regarding her dry hair, that she needs to find the porosity of her hair. Porosity changes with simple styling, also hair porosity is different throughout the entire head, when you condition in the salon, the hair is cared for as a whole, testing for porosity isn't done before applying a conditioning treatment a visual assessment is. Since the 1st client wanted to keep her length, why not cut her split ends internally and shape her externally to maintain her length? styling the 1st client, So does everyone use plugin's for styling in your state? What happened to pressing combs and barrel irons? She has thick roots, untamed edges and partially straight hair. I'm just old school, I guess. Never-the-less, great channel, thanks for letting us have a voice and I love the product line, can I get the order information please. Thanks...
Beautiful 🥰🥰 Have you heard of or experienced what’s called Shampoo Bowl Stroke? 😢during a extended sink bowl service the Blood flow is actually cut off at the neck and your client can have problems. Just wanted to share🥰🥰🙏🏿✝️
Where is Ashley. I miss you and Ashley sister arguing. It makes my day. Thank you for your knowledge of great hair care my scalp is very sensitive and that's why I stopped relaxing my hair
I remember when I was in high school I used to shed sooo much at the 3 month/12weeks period and the new growth was so thick cuz my natural hair is generally thick and coarse. New growth and the line of demarcation broke my hair. So I went natural after high school n relaxed again after 3 years of being natural.....and now, I will relax every 2 months max....or 6 weeks minimum. People with finer looser natural hair roots can stretch longer but people like me? nope
I have 4b/4c combo hair and I only relax my hair 3x a year. I prevent breakage by spritzing a mixture of water and glycerin in the new growth. I just can't put any heat in the roots after applying the mixture, because the glycerin will fry my hair. Typically I'll roller set my hair during this time so the new growth doesn't look so bad. I just was the glycerin out a few days before the relaxer so it can straighten my hair properly.
For real girl to the people who say their hair is so long and beautiful and healthy with a relaxer I call BS. They think it gets past their shoulders and it’s long 🙄
The relaxer that was peeping through, I would have thought it would have been taken care of with neutralizing shampoo. I guess that's only for box relaxers. When it turns pink to let you know relaxer is still there. If thats still a thing 🤷🏽♀️
Good Morning… I came across your hair videos about 3 weeks ago and I have thoroughly enjoyed them. I find you to display knowledge, care and professionalism. I’m glad I came across you. Be blessed.
I love your videos, my daughter hair was badly burned by a stylist because the cosmic press jammed and they could not release the presses on the section of hair, now it has broken off near her scalp.
I appreciate the final look. Her hair looks healthy and beautiful so I'm sure she loved her final results. With regards to some of the techniques applied, sometimes when we create habits, we don't easily see our flaws. This was a year ago, but it's new to me. Regardless, while I share similar concerns expressed by the others, it is my hope that it help you to further improve your brand. All the best
56 years old always had long hair past mid-back. It's thinning. Don't know what to do. Great health, seen dermatologist said just age use mixodil. Reaching out to you. Please help. Never had any relaxers. Thank you
Ladies (relaxed and curly) never ever everrrrrrrrr comb your hair with a small tooth comb like that. 😖😖😖😖ESPECIALLY when the hair is relaxed and wet. If the tangle is too small for a wide tooth comb, use your fingers and move SLOWLY from end to root. That wasn’t just shedding. It was breakage.
Honestly, this poor lady lost soooooo much hair. You did not do a good job on that at all. A lot of that matting could have been prevented…so sad. What you showed was not shading but breakage from the combing that was improperly done.
I absolutely love my natural hair but my hair is manageable due to my mixed heritage! I know not all black women can relate so I’m team do whatever makes u happy
I’m 56 years old and I’ve had a relaxer since I was 12. I went natural 8 years ago, I only stayed natural for about 2 years, before going back to the relaxer. I recently got my hair cut into a very short pixie cut because I started experiencing breakage. My question is, can my hair tolerance for a relaxer change due to my age. I’m experiencing more burning round my edges and I’m thinking about going natural again.
I can say yes from experience. I am 53 and would not have hair if I kept relaxing. I saw the change in my hair from relaxers at 44 so I stopped then. I have long easy to manage full natural hair. I never had this much hair relaxed. I spend less time on my natural hair than I did when it is relaxed. I see too many sisters over 45 still trying to hold on to the relaxed look that have sparse/thin/balding hair. My hair was sparse and thin after my last relaxer and I just had enough. Good Luck.
My mom had the same experience in her 40’s and 50’s. She stopped in her early 50’s and now in her 60’s it seems like her hair is finally recovering. I believe it was the relaxer too. I went natural and had locs. No relaxer since 2007.
Our bodies change. My mother relaxed her hair until she was about 52yrs old and her hair finally started growing after she stopped relaxing and took the time to take good care of her hair with natural oils and herbs water. She has a full head no one bold spot and she's 59 now.
I'm 56 & my mom is 78. Both of us have been relaxed many years (I started at 14). I relax both of our hair & mine is near my behind & hers is just past BSL. I've cut both of our hair as well for many years. Relaxed hair can still be long & healthy past 50. *EDIT : Yes, both of us are black through the ages. No mix, black hair grows & so can relaxed black hair - with care.
My mom had some friends who had relaxers. They went with all the trends, including Jheri curls. Also dyeing the hair. Once these ladies got into their 60s, they had bald spots in the top of their heads. Chemicals will catch up with people eventually.
Rubbing that conditioner on ends causes tangles n breakage... and that small comb on the wet hair in the sink 😲 😱 but I just love her and her cutting skills
Hello hello I was just wondering why you didn't add any base cream to the scalp and hairline? And also why didn't you comb the hair out before you put the relaxer on? That's why it got tangled!
I don’t relax my hair anymore but I use semi coloring all the time it’s all I use for over 20yrs never had a problem with it I was born with silver light brown and blonde hair so I can use any semi color it works like a charm I am able to get really nice color from it🥰🥰🥰
To Michelle Burns: The key for braids and extensions is taking care of the hair. You can wash your hair with braids in it, but if that's all you do, your hair will eventually break off and develop an odor. Every time you wash and condition your braids, you should be rebraiding them, either with the same fiber, or freshly washed and conditioned fiber hair. And you shouldn't be going more than two weeks without washing and conditioning your braids.

So I’ve been relaxing my hair on and off for years. In the Dominican Republic they do this CRITICAL step of combing it through! That makes SUCH A DIFFERENCE!
You should only comb through relaxers on virgin hair not on pre-relaxed hair. Dominican shops in the US are known for extreme heat when blow drying hair…one heat setting for all types of hair 🤷🏽♀️ and using straightening products in the shampoo and conditioners. 🤦🏾♀️.
Madam CJ Walker invented the pressing comb, women flocked to have the hair straightened, next the relaxer and Geri curl( perm), another trend was weaves and braids, the latest trend for women of color especially African American women is the wearing of the natural (virgin ) hair. The cosmetologist is correct.
Natural hair is not a trend. It's the normal, regular thing that grows on our scalp. It's like saying dark skin is a trend.

That client looks FANTASTIC!!! Her hair is perfect!! Excellent work!!
It gave me nightmares watching you rip through her hair strands ( ends) with that fine tooth comb! Wow!
It was the multiple passes with the flat iron for me 😬
this is the comment i was looking for. thank you.
This is the comment I was looking for...am in distress🥱
And yet she’s giving advice😏🤔
I’m almost 4 months and I’m not shedding yet she says pass 12 weeks your hair will shed
Living in Vegas I haven't found any hair stylist here for black hair so I've viewed your videos to help grow my hair.
First, I discovered black rice water is 10 times better than white rice (just like you said white rice can't stay on your hair long but I leave black rice water on for hours without any problems)
Second, I use fenugreek as a daily (or couple times a week) oil it helps to stimulate my scalp and just between these two items it has grown my hair.
Third, I wash my hair twice a week and I have added vinegar water in a bottle after rinsing out the shampoo (this is what my mother did for us kids growing up to grow our hair & I had the longest hair in class)
Lastly, my hair has grown like crazy and I'm 68y/o I use the semi-color (non permanent) and I use vaseline (like my mother used on our hair growing up it seems to keep the hair from reverting back)
Now I'm working on the rest of my body lol.
I had the longest hair in class…what an accomplishment 🤣
I needed you before I went natural 4 years ago
😊
Crystal, this is my second time watching you. I watched you the other day coloring a customer's hair that was completely all gray. She wanted to color her hair for her birthday and she had a lot of hair as well. You did cut/trim it. I wish you lived here in MD so I could get my hair done by you on a regular. I'm natural now but used to get a perm. You are so knowledgeable. I don't trust people with my hair and have no idea what to do with it.
I don’t even have textured hair but I’m obsessed with watching your videos.
before putting relaxer on the hair for virgin hair or a retouch. Its correct to base before applying the chemical of relaxer to the hair to protect the root of the hair and scalp
.
Is your relaxed hair healthy though?
@@octaviawalker823 I have a set schedule also. I go every 2 wks for a wash. Every 8wks for a relaxer. Trim every other relaxer (every 4 months). My hair is long and healthy. Only 1 source of heat and that is the hair dryer for roller sets. That regimen is perfect for me.
I love how you break things down and know you’re willing and wanting to educate people…. Love your videos!!! 🤤
Why would a article bag burn the hair off?
Ms.Elite your level of hair knowledge is amazing. You remind me of old school beauticians.Thank you for a willingness to share.Thank you.
amazing technique + explanation.
It depends on your hair texture I’m a 3c and can go 6 months but I do things most bw are against and it works for me
@@sdanzey6962 same. 3c hair and I had my last relaxer in March I think. I dont even count the weeks/time. Just go to the stylist when jt gets too long.
@@pickmeisha wow you go girl my last relaxer was in June we got this
It depends on how you Care for your hair between touch-ups.
Strange comment because what would you do if these weren't invented?
What's wrong with your natural hair that you think you need to relax it?
@@slimthickaz. Exactly!!!
To everyone above in the most respectful way... "It's not YOUR HAIR." Let her do what she thinks is best based on how she can handle it.
@@pink1237480 what if there’s nothing wrong and she just wants to relax her hair because she can?
That was not shedded hair. That was tangled hair in which it should have been carefully detangled by your fingers or a large comb with gentle patience and care.
I commend you on your knowledge of black hair care. Most of the stylists I watch don’t ever go into the detail you do.
Massive !!
My mother really did not know how to handle it, so for years she'd comb the knots out (2 hours worth) and when she was done, she'd put that frizzy hair right into a tight ponytail....with a rubber band (ucccckkk)
They would not relax my hair at the salon, and I was told it was too dry and would break off.
So,
I learned to love my hair, treat it well, condition i.t And being gentle
At 60 it has less volume, not as curly, but I still consider it massive, And if the frizzies come, it's leave in conditioner. Works wonders.
So love your hair treat it well, and be gentle.
You are supposed to stay 1/2 inch off the scalp when applying a retouch to a client
Soo true like I always say the have stylist who can style hair but not all knows how to grow and take care of hair
For a 15 week relaxer I would use the virgin relaxer instructions instead of a regular retouch instructions. Meaning I would go to mid strand of the new growth avoiding the line of demarcation and go back to the scalp area otherwise the scalp will process first from the body heat.
Facts
Thus giving 'Hot Roots' !
I love your instructions . I attended Cosmetology college and I have learned more about hair since I watching you.Thank you so much ❤Ruth Holiday
I went natural bc relaxers were breaking down my strands making them weak and fragile. I had no curl after a roller set and feared going bald.
And I’m sure you were getting relaxers every 6 weeks
@@sdanzey6962I got my relaxers every 5 months or so for many many years till one year my hair started falling out.
Firstly I love your channel. I'm aware there's a thousand ways to do things. I watched the entire video, some very good tips. I meant to convey my concern in the form of questions, but listening and typing, the questions are posed as comments and statements. Thanks in advance
Why didn't you didn't base her scalp, nor protect her processed hair at the line of demarcation.
There should be at least 1 to 1 1/2 inches of new growth to minimize breakage
You said hair oil is great for the scalp, topicals on the scalp usually clogs the follicles and counteracts the duty of the sebaceous glands. maybe oil as an oil treatment.
Thanks...

You are a maste hair stylist! I learn so much from washing your channel! You do such beautiful job with every client.
Have a great day at work Crystal. Be safe out there.
People with finer looser natural hair roots can stretch longer but people like me? nope
Yes I agree I’m a 3c and can go for every six months
I have 4b/4c combo hair and I only relax my hair 3x a year. I prevent breakage by spritzing a mixture of water and glycerin in the new growth. I just can't put any heat in the roots after applying the mixture, because the glycerin will fry my hair. Typically I'll roller set my hair during this time so the new growth doesn't look so bad. I just was the glycerin out a few days before the relaxer so it can straighten my hair properly.
I agree, I have fine texture hair. I could only relax my hair 8 to 10 weeks.
I haven’t had a relaxer in 10 years. I thought I wanted a relaxer. This video reminds me why I should not get one. 😊
That’s you 😂 I had a relaxer all my life and my hair is beautiful and healthy 🤷🏽♀️
For real girl to the people who say their hair is so long and beautiful and healthy with a relaxer I call BS. They think it gets past their shoulders and it’s long 🙄

She looks beautiful! Her salt and pepper color looks so pretty.
The relaxer that was peeping through, I would have thought it would have been taken care of with neutralizing shampoo. I guess that's only for box relaxers. When it turns pink to let you know relaxer is still there. If thats still a thing 🤷🏽♀️
It still is a thing even with Affirm (not boxed)
This is my first time seeing any of your videos. I have learned so much about good hair care from this one video.
Good Morning… I came across your hair videos about 3 weeks ago and I have thoroughly enjoyed them. I find you to display knowledge, care and professionalism. I’m glad I came across you. Be blessed.
You're wonderful Crystal, I'll see you soon.
I love your videos, my daughter hair was badly burned by a stylist because the cosmic press jammed and they could not release the presses on the section of hair, now it has broken off near her scalp.

Mine was shedding bad when I went 15 weeks thanks for the video and the instructions
Maybe you needed a wash and deep conditioner
56 years old always had long hair past mid-back. It's thinning. Don't know what to do. Great health, seen dermatologist said just age use mixodil. Reaching out to you. Please help. Never had any relaxers. Thank you
I haven’t had a relaxer since December. So now I understand why I’m shedding. I clipped my ends this month.
I see you REALLY care about the client's hair & not just styling. You are "Awesome " at your God given talent. I wish you were in NY.

Ok, Thank you, I will😁
To Michelle Burns: The key for braids and extensions is taking care of the hair.

Be prepared when going for a relaxer to be done. Dont irritate your scalp and it will not burn.
You do an Amazing job on every client you have!
