I'm glad to see you getting more comfortable with that front grapple I too like the independent grapple arms also the trick on being able to use a diverter valve well curling and clamping job well done
Very cool of ya’ll to do wish we had a grapple on our tractor, always wanted one. Sure have needed one few times over the years after Hurricanes, storms.
Like the video. That's great of you you guys to help them out. Have ever tried a pine needle rake for the little sticks? I have a lot of trees and didn't know if it would work with raking up the sticks.
Good job guys! We are expecting tornadoes here this evening. Be the fourth Sunday night in a row we have had violent storms. Glad to hear your thoughts on those tires Tim.
I have the R3+ tires on my 2025r and really like them! I use my tractor for everything from a dedicated mower, snow removal, property maintenance, landscaping and logging. If I was only going to use my tractor in the woods or fields I would opt for ag tires or the industrial R4’s. With that said, I love my R3+ for my tractor work. I have never been stuck yet and I have gone in really muddy spots.
Something I did notice in this video it your ballast on the rear is very high, would it be better to keep it lower to help keep tipping over and keep the centre of gravity lower, I certainly feel it is better for me! I so love how you all pull together and help each other, we see to have lost that somewhat in the UK. The more I watch that grapple in use the more I want one lol, unfortunately my loader hasn’t got a tilt function ,shes a 55 year old Massey Ferguson 35 but She’s still going strong at 55 but I’m finding things harder work at 55 lol.
If you mentioned tire pressure I missed it. In muddy conditions like I'm seeing here try dropping pressures to as low as possible for the load. Will help with tire cleaning too as more flex will clear treads.

Great job. I really like your channel and your message. I was also wondering why you run your ballast weights so high in the back. I raise mine a bit in hilly terrain when backing up but generally keep it down low. I’m sure you have a good reason!
The grapple came in handy. Cutting up trees and moving debris is hard work. I hope the house is not damaged very much. I bet the interns did not expect to get in on a project like this. I know the one intern said he was from MA, but I failed to catch where the other was from.
They worked really hard and even after it all they had actually helped me get a bigger group of volunteers to go back on Friday but the Amish came and cleaned up place we were going to work on, as well as their neighbor's places, for firewood. What up tractor time with Tim and nice that you have that you and I have been that nice friend not to clean up the debris from that storm that's real nice.
Thank you for trying the 2038R. It's good to see it being used. Plus, showing us how the tires worked in "wet" conditions. Did you have to clean off the tire to keep working- or just at the end of the day? The 3rd function on the loader: do you have a switch on the loader stick? or on the fender?

Nice job helping out cleaning up the mess. I think you had the right tractor too. A cab would have been a little better. Does this tractor have fluid in the tires? The looked a little low but maybe that’s how radial tires are?
Hi TTWT....I have a random question on your thoughts on this. I use my tractor for maint work on 3 condo complexes. More and more i'm seeing the dumpsters starting to overflow 2 days usually before pickup date. Personally i'm attributing it to more people shopping online and instead of breaking down their delivery cartons they're just throwing them intact into the dumpsters which is just creating a lot of empty air pockets. 2 or 3 weeks ago I got the idea to start using the loader bucket to try to compress the trash in them. These are all 4 yd dumpsters and I just pull up to them...open both sides of the lids...and angle the bucket downward (open side down)...and just lower the bucket. I am getting good results and maybe reclaiming 1/8th to 1/4 the space. (usually more like 1/8th). It seems limited though by 2 things. First...how deep the bucket can go down inside without hitting the front edge of the dumpsters. But MORESO..it seems like the hydraulic pressure just isn't there. So instead i'm lifting the bucket again and again to just try to bash it down more..which then works some. My QUESTION is this. Is the pressure coming DOWN on a hydraulic system just the loader/bucket Weight? Meaning..theres really no hydraulics instead? It kind of seems that way because it just seems to stop with no real force behind it. What I was also thinking of trying after seeing your video on how much the loader will lift is to just lay the bottom of the bucket on the overflowed trash and then curl the bucket down. None are full enough yet to try that theory but thought i'd throw It out there as a question as well. Right now..increasing the size of the dumpsters isn't an option due to the costs involved. (trash..is expensive :) ) And it seems like I should be able to get more out of this idea I had. Thanks for any comments or thoughts you might have. :) (and ps: so nice of you to help out these people with the storm damage. :) )
There IS down pressure on the loader hydraulics. However, it is only going to push down until the front wheels come off the ground. Attaching it somehow to the bucket and using it as more weight like you describe. One issue about putting something IN the bucket is id be losing that extra depth in not really being able to tip it down. As I mentioned the edge of the dumpster is limiting how far the loader can come down. Im also going to have to test on a flat surface whether the bucket can lift the front off the ground. It just REALLY seems like the downward pressure isn't there and more like its just the weight of the bucket. I get that sense because there seems to be no "push" behind it. @Tractor Time with Tim So..i did a little test today on the front. And yep..it does lift the front wheels off the ground. And so, I guess the push is there and for some odd reason i'm just not really feeling it. I actually had another thought today though that i'm going to test when the dumpsters get fuller. I'm going to try putting two car ramps in front of the dumpsters to let me raise the front end. this should let me get the bucket in deeper when i'm lowering it instead of hitting the edge. Anyways..thought i'd report on this because this can be a real money saver. I mean..if I can fully utilize this it will save the cost of upgrading SIXTEEN dumpsters from 4yds to 6. I mean...that's like buying a new subcompact every six months with the savings. :) Thanks TTWT!

11:09 looks like Greg Grunberg..lol
That little dog sure liked that broken up 1st pile...
The little dog was tied to that tree 45 minutes after the storm went through. Not sure whether he was out there when it hit, but yeesh!
@@curtwhite876 He sure like peeing on that pile... In fact he was getting pretty close to Tim's feet before he peed...!
Yeah, I don't think them are the tires for me Tim. I slid sideways into my fence the other day. Remember, where the trailer went through Lucy was telling Christy about. Need more side grip.
