Hi Ryan just found your channel love it. I have a couple I am working on a 56 and a 67. Surprise to me I almost bought your a 52 in Tn. Great car love the videos on it have that 390 in my 56. I have walked in your steps a bit being 72 it's a real struggle some days the concrete sure is harder now than when I was 20. 😎👍
Congratulations ! What are you going to do with the 331 ? The guy told me today, they are pulling the 1962 390 next monday. So I will have my engine & trans next Tuesday for my 56 CDV ! This 390 was rebuilt so I should not have the head issues you did. I found a driveshaft place too. ... aside from the truck springs, Like the whitewalls and how it high it rides. IDK, looks good to me, but the boing boing boing - you just can't have that. Friend gave me a ride home in 356 once, boing boing boing...it was only 5 miles, but I felt like I was going to lose my lunch. Looking forward to tuning ANY carb, and being a 390 is just perfect timing.
Those weird leaf springs explain the terrrible bumpy ride we saw at the beginning. A Caddie is suposed to be a very smooth ride. Some people have very weird ideas how to modify a car! Nice to see progress being made: Cadillacs used to be great. But that was a long time ago.

I figured it out, some how the shackles were frozen forward. She is now at ride height and riding smooth.
