Nice car! The first car I remember my father having in the early '70's. Same exact car but without the vinyl top, which really looks good with the formal roofline and rear window. The interior had the speckled clear seat covers. It was mint and still one of most favorite cars. I would just spot restore the car and leave it original.
Wow, I've never seen any early 60s car with that much originiality. Its like a time capsule seeing all that detail still in almost exact shape. You gotta think, Kennedy was still the US President until Nov of '63! Heck of a find my friend. Don't be afraid to show her off to show these young folk what American quality used to be like.
That car reminds me a little of my 1966 Coupe De Ville. My car was Antique Gold with a gold silk brocade and leather interior. The interiors of 1960s Cadillacs were breathtakingly beautiful. My car was in better condition that this one, it had perfect paint and interior. I bought mine from a guy in Pennsylvania in 1980. Even back then it was difficult to find anyone competent to work on them and parts were difficult to find. Those cars need leaded gasoline and only get about 10 mpg.
Ohhh-man I had three 63's in my time. If a person uses hand creme and touches the trunk lid in the same place when the lid is closed it will soften the paint! Looks like a right handed person-bet a dollar! Was the car owned by a woman?
Cadillac really knew how to build them back in the day not so much anymore. Very nice car I'm jealous.
Beautiful car this was when cars were built excellent!!!

Cadillac quality started to decline with the '68 model in my opinion.
and then after 1966, Caddilac was never the same.. completely cheapened
1961-1966 were the best. I owned a 1965 convertible and a 1966 Coupe De Ville.
