I very painful for many years. I hope some day I save my money to do it. PRP insurance not cover it. It’s Sad, right?

I would spend the out of pocket money and do it first to see if it works great. If not, I would do hip replacement . I am 55 years old which is relatively young for hip replacement however, it is from my career as a professional drummer. I have a spot in my left thumb with the same arthritic issue. I am getting a total hip replacement Aug28. Takes about an hour. Everyone I have spoken to who has had it done is incredibly happy and all of them wish they would have done it earlier. Important. Amd for those who thought I you cannot run again after surgery, think again. My surgeon said I can run all I want, I just “might” need to do a revision several years down the road if the Iron Man hardware wears out etc. Don’t live in pain! Get the X-rays, see more than one surgeon for opinions, and go for it! Oh, and make sure it is the Anterior approach or the lateral approach. Does it have steroids in the mix because steroid shots have sude effects too, oeople had started using them, and eventually made it worse and became addictive,. to tbe shots, where the pain kept continuing to come back, worse.
