🤣 Those fonts really need some UpGrade & It'll look much better with a "dark mode/negative version" rather than theclassic white background trying to flash on your eyes everytime you run/reboot your system.
3.5 mm jack is not for headphones according to documentation, but for headSETs that is very unusual in monitors "Audio (In/Out) Audio out/Microphone in combo jack"
I am suspicious of philips reliability. I bought the Philips Brilliance 346P, but the USB-C dock died within 1.5 years. Very Disappointed. I am now looking for a new screen.
It would be good if you include how well this works with Mac (from a resolution compatibility perspective). I’ve been subscribed to your channel for a long time. It seems your channel is in fact for pc users.
@TotallydubbedHD How does the Philips compare to LG 40WP95CP W - will there be a noticeable difference in colour accuracy for video editing between them, LG being DCI P3 98% vs Philips 92.3% ? Is it possible for mouse and keyboard to work seamlessly without physical switching of buttons, between two connected outputs?
I use a PC for work and a Mac for all things creative & personal. I find it somewhat disconcerting that there is no testing for Mac and the fact that the webcam supports Windows Hello makes me think it is not that Mac-friendly.
I just don't own a Mac and haven't used one for over 5 years lol. I'm sure it'll be fine given its TB4 input. As for Windows hello, it's a feature that present for those who want or can to use it.
@@TotallydubbedHD Sorry, I meant nobody seems to be testing this monitor with a Mac and Phillips aren’t pushing it on all platforms. Your review has been very useful but I’m still reticent about spending £1500 on this monitor because of that gap in the platform reviews generally.
@@philipmcdonnell7168 glad you liked the video. And again, might be because most who review just don't use a Mac. I was pretty impressed by it, but hopefully you'll find something that you like soon.
brother, why are you telling us technical and marketing texts? you should be more utilitarian, take as a basis a 34" monitor and a resolution of 3440 * 1440 and show us in the game how the viewing angle will change, what is visible at 34" and what will become visible if you use a larger diagonal and a larger resolution. on such a monitor, no one will engage in color, it simply will not be bought by firms that do business with color, why do we need it? and you didn't tell the video editors anything new, meaning for users it only has a viewing angle, what becomes visible in games that was not visible with smaller diagonals.

Headphones encompasses headests, but maybe I should have specified that I can also be used with a headset.

Sorry to hear that, no issues with the two that my wife owns for over 3 years now.
@@TotallydubbedHD Where and how to get this fixed? I am in Europe and so far Philips has not been helpful.
@@braaitongsno idea, would try contacting Philips.
Me too, bought above and died within 2 days usage. 🤦🏻♂️ Just sent back and now ordered Lenovo P40-w20…awaiting receiving 🤔

That's right, I've not used a Mac for a long time nor have access to one. Thanks for the support!

No idea, not tried the other.
How you test colour celebration of any monitor?
Calibrators are listed in the image quality section!

As this is a paid overview not a review. And note, this isn't in any sense a gaming monitor.
