I was a goalie as a kid. EVERY goal is taken personally. The trick is to regain composure by the time the puck drops at the next faceoff. That's easier said than done and IMO that's what makes a pro goalie.

We also have no idea what the score was either. they had to be in the 2nd period sense the goalie was on opposite side from the bench. So that guy could have been scored on 10+ times already for all we know.

Appreciate you doing videos from other leagues, I don't really watch a lot of actual games so it's nice to see different players on screen. :)
9:05 maybe its only because I haven't seen it before but I like that moving lower third for the goal. It's a cool idea to show a bit more personality from the players and could be a good branding method for pro leagues to show the faces of their players to tv viewers and show the fun side of the athletes.
There is nothing more satisfying in life than watching a Goalie have an absolute meltdown…

Today he is retired player but general manager of team SaiPa (on the video) where he played last games of his career and also first professional games. Great guy, SaiPa is taking great steps after he took GM position. Looking forward to next season already!

As a goalie myself, some of these meltdowns are confusing to me since some of these are just the goalie being beaten clean. Like seriously, you let in a goal. Deal with it. Some of their meltdown are understandable, but for the guys who are acting out for no reason, give your head a shake, get back into your crease, and stop the next shot.

Since I’m new to the sport, the comment section of your videos is where I like to ask questions about rules that I see and am not clear on lol. So who’s actually in the right on the last play(09:20)? The net moving out of place during the act of taking the scoring shot.
@@jw_023 I think that since the goalie knocked it off either the goal would count or the goal wouldn’t count but the other team would get a power play.
@@politicalbandwagon4989 pretty sure if the goalie knocks it off like that its till good, but if say someone launches the net off to prevent a 2 on 0 breakaway then it is a penalty shot

In all fairness wouldn’t the goal where the forward in orange took out the goalie be interference? I mean, sure, the guy wasn’t necessarily trying to do that, but he obviously did, and ensured the goalie had no chance of stopping the second shot. 5:30
Yeah that absolutely should have been called goalie interference, the guy was laying on top of the goalie when the shot was made FFS.
Maybe not a penalty for goalie interference sense most people think he was pushed into the goalie but definitely not a goal either. The play should have been blown dead as soon as the player bulled over the goalie and a faceoff should have been taken in the white teams zone.

Guys running goalies over is getting way to comen when a team has two goalies and a guy can jest run one over and stick a skate into them and take the teams best goalie that crazy. I do see why more and more goalies are starting to put a couple of blockers into a guy for crashing the net and not get no penalty for it. If it was a guy out of net and a guy skated from one end to the other and ran a guy over he would get charging don't make sense.
