Try searching for the UK version on UA-cam from the UK. You'll find we're not allowed to view it in our country.

I remember a documentary on her parents search for her.
It's so crazy and scary that Dinah McNicols and Vicky Hamilton were actually killed by the same person... Gave me goosebumps, poor girls, my heart goes to their families. I don't believe in God but when I hear these stories I'd like to hope there actually is a better place afterlife were they can be
Plus several others. They only found this out when they found the body of Angelika Kluk in Glasgow in 2006. Tobin probably murdered others as well.

There absolutely is a God and heaven. We have free will. If God stepped in every time something bad was about to happen we wouldn’t have free will. We all have a little evil or sin in us. That’s why we can’t get to heaven unless we believe in God/Jesus and ask for forgiveness. It’s a free gift.

I don't know if you've read the Wikipedia about the case but it's heartbreaking. Police believe a builded accidentally killed him while working on a field next to the house and then buried/hid him.
Just heard this on Absolute Radio. I remember living in Germany at the time this came out and was always shown on MTV Europe. Either showing British or German version. Haunting song

I lived near Nicky Payne, initially she was another young mother to talk babies with now and then, but became a friend. I'd not long moved away by the time she disappeared, and have thought about her many many times over the years, Nicky absolutely adored her son- it was never in dispute that something really bad had happened to her. Still no real answers though, and its 29yrs in December. 😢xx
Edited to add: I was almost certain that Fred and Rose West's daughter Heather was shown in the UK version originally, (and maybe other victims of theirs too!) Now obviously it would have been understandable for those pictures to have been removed, just like the pictures of victims of Ivan Milat were removed from the Australian version, but I'm wondering if anyone else has a vague memory of Heather West's pic originally being in the UK video, or whether I imagined it. It is possible I did as Heather's picture was shown a lot on UK TV when Fred & Rose were arrested, and it was always the one same picture...
I only saw this comment last night before I went upstairs to bed. About half an hour later I'd just finished watching something on Amazon Prime when a documentary about Nicky was advertised.
Not nearly enough is done to find these missing people, it's disgraceful, especially when you know how much the UK Government has poured into the search for Madelaine McCann.

I went to Guides with Susan Callum, one day she wasn't there and then she reappeared just as quick. Heard this song the other day and I just had to find this video again.
Susan was missing for quite a while… months not days I seem to remember. I think it was the similar time to the Lyminge Forest occupation. Hope she found whatever she was looking for.
Great song and I remember both Australian versions of the song. The original had some of Ivan Milat's victims in it and the familes went apeshit because they believed that the clip was making them out to be "runaways". The clip was then edited to replace those ones with other missing people

@@tonytatts4 Used to be up on a different video hosting site but it got hit by a copyright notice. The version that was up was the one after the victims of the backpacker murders were removed.

Well two of the people featured on the video were killed by one serial killer (Vicky Hamilton & Amelie De La Grange) the killer was Peter Tobin, who also may be Bible John

It was Dinah McNichol that was a victim of Tobin. Amelie Delagrange was a victim of Levi Bellfield

Vicky Hamilton and Dinah McNichol were murdered by Peter Tobin. They were found buried in the garden of one of his former homes. Louise Kay is also believed to be one of his victims. Amelie de la Grange was murdered by Levi Bellfield who also killed Marsha McDonnell and Amanda "Milly" Dowler. Only Milly out of those three girls was missing for any time before her remains were found. Amelie and Marsha were both found where they'd been murdered the morning after being attacked.

She was a lovely kind soul. She didn't run away either. She was on her way home hitchhiking when Peter tobin got her.
There was like sadness in her eyes of someone who knew what it was to lose your mum when you're a primary school child.... But also like don't forget we were all goths and looking wistful in a photo sometimes was like cool...
She wasn't a runaway she was just missing. All of her friends and her family knew something not right had happened to her the minute she didn't get home when she should have done. She didn't run away. We just all liked the cure and gothy stuff and that's a wistful pose in a picture looking in the distance innit guvnor
Indeed. She's a lovely girl, but good God how she's framed, enveloped by darkness like that. Knowing what happened to her, it's quite haunting.
I think I was in 8th grade when this video was being played all the time on MTV and I definitely didn't retain the maturity enough to appreciate the human toll of all these people going missing. I think I would mostly just be irritated when it came on because I wasn't crazy about the song.
Now as an adult it ways pretty heavy. Wish things turned out better for them all.

Yeah but dinah was my friend from the school bus and it's like heart warming to remember her how she was in the photo and think of her with love it's wierd how they did that, it's good not to have memories deleted. It's like a tribute to her this song, that's how I feel.... Her dad's died now, don't know how her siblings feel but as a friend this feels like a tribute song to her and seeing her picture feels like a nice thing

Digging online, i accidentaly find a Britain Version of the song, and the german Version. UK and Australian versions, sadly, remain unfound.

I know it's sick when you think about him just walking around normal when this song comes on and he knows what has happened to two of the people there looking for. 😔

i haven't seen it, but there is a difference in the video, with how it starts. starts with a picture drawn by one of the runaways, and a voice over of Dave Pirner saying something about it... but i cant find it anywhere :(
I've been looking for that video too! There was also a version of the video where at the end Dave says if you know or are one of the missing kids in this video please call..and they had a hotline number. I saw that version twice when the video 1st aired then Mtv cut it. Can't find it anywhere now!
