In every Theodore Tugboat episode, he is always the best part, from beginning to end. My dad is a sailor and a boat buff, and when I was a little kid I always think of him as the Harbourmaster.
Harbor master just seems like the nicest guy
Rest in Peace, Denny Doherty.
RIP Denny Doherty (1940-2007). He will always be a great Harbor Master and narrator of Theodore Tugboat. T_T
i have a head cannon for what happened to Theodore and all of his friends because I know you like Theodore tugboat. I will now share.
after the show ended, the Great Ocean Tug and Salvage Company hit hard times, and soon hit bankruptcy. Theodore and all of his friends were up for sale, much to Canada's sadness. Meanwhile at brendam docks on sodor, the harbor was expanding, so the port needed some new tugboats. the fat controller looked for tugboats to buy and saw all of the Great Ocean Tug and Salvage Company's fleet up for sale, for a heavily discounted price too. knowing how famous they are Aswell as him being desperate, Sir Topham Hatt scooped them up and had them transported to sodor, as well of the dispatcher coming too. the dispatcher now dispatches the engines leaving brendam docks Aswell as partially controlling the tugboats, while Topham also controls them. salty is great friends with the tugs, and every so often tells them stories.
I Totally agreed he is the best ever as well as he will always be harbour master and narrator 😂😂😂😂❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Rest in Peace, Sir. You gave a lot to this world.
Denny Doherty was great as the Harbour Master. He’s like doing his work while interacting with the audience about Theodore Tugboat.
Probably the greatest voice in rock history. Amazingly humble guy too.
The HarbourMaster in every episode is my favourite part of Theodore Tugboat
Hi Harbour Master! 👋🙋♀️
.R.I.P. Denny Doherty (1940-2007) *big sigh*
I think Denny made this show very fun and brought some ambience along as well
Some say that this was Captain Star before the Great Depression
When I watched the series, I had no way of knowing ol' Denny was part of a musical band back in the day.
The harbor master reminds me of Mr Arkwright and Mr Perkins Knapford engine drivers locker room from Thomas & Friends
I'm California Dreamin on such a winter's day
It's because of how much I watched this show as a kid, wearing down every VHS I had of it, that I knew I wanted to work on ships. It's hard work, but the kind that I can be satisfied with when I come home.
Just what I needed, someone to do it! Thanks a lot for making this! I was watching it without a break and I didn't feel it long at all. It was just wonderful. No one could do it better than Denny.
Or also alternatively, 2 hours and 50 minutes of wholesome content!
R.I.P
Danny Doherty AKA (The Harbour Master)
Would've been interesting to actually see this Rodney fella.
Given how short the segments normally are in the episodes i'm surprised how long this is
I know. I was surprised when I found out how long this turned out. Keep in mind, there are some extended parts I cut, so technically this would be over 3 hours. I only kept the parts that were either favorites or funny
Denny Doherty was a great Harbour Master 😫
If they ever revived Theodore Tugboat, I wonder if they would keep the Harbor Master in the series.
They can't. Well they can do whatever they want but honestly could you ever replace Denny Doherty as thee Harbour Master?
@@mugwumpbarb1129 I don't know. I love Denny, but I'd give any replacement a chance before making a judgement. As long as Matel isn't the one making it.
I would personally could not watch anyone else. I think and admittedly so I am partial to Denny and this is part of his legacy he left us so I can't imagine anyone else. He was a unique, original and extremely talented person that was taken from us far too soon. It's been 15 years and still miss him. Defending Denny! It goes with reminding people that there were 4 members of the Mamas & Papas. Someone else could try but no one could ever replace Denny for me.
@@mugwumpbarb1129 wait how did he pass?
@@AndrewtheLNERA1 Hello Andrew. Dennis passed on January 19, 2007, after a 2nd abdominal aortic aneurysm that went undetected from his 1st surgery took him from us. Sadly, maybe if the surgeon didn't miss the 2nd one he might still be with us today. It saddens me to even think about it. I took it very hard, and to this day I think about it. How sad it was and how it could have been avoided. Any reports you may hear of renal failure are not correct stories. Take care. Peace my friend.
RIP Denny.
when I was young I don't remember the harbour master in for the start to end of the office scenes cause I watched it in australia when it use to broadcast playhouse disney so I don't know the show had something edited but I do remember his narration
"Denny Doherty of the Mamas & the Papas."-🤔🖥🌐..
Rip to this legend
Wow, this is a lot that added up, love it! Funny enough I remember having a dream about something like this, just the Harbor Master. You have made that come true ☺
I’m finna be totally honest with y’all. These are the only parts of this show that I actually enjoy.
That’s really sad…
The Harbor Master was cool just like Mr Arkwright and Mr Parkins at the Knapford station engine drivers locker room from Thomas & Friends
This is amazing. 😁
He was on an episode of Trailer Park Boys right before his death in 2007.
He got to let out a couple F-Bombs on that TPB episode.
I believe TPB is on Netflix. I gotta find what episode that’s from
@@yamitay9258 yes. Season 7, episode 10

BASED thank you for the ASMR
This is the only reason that makes me like Theodore tugboat
It shouldn’t be, as the stories are very good if given the right chance. Most are so relatable
Theodore Tugboat just isn't the same without Denny Dorothy as our good old harbormaster. Like Mr. Perkins, he gives us some great and funny vibes.
This guy is ether the best HM ever, or the worst! He's never really seen doing actual work, meaning he never does it, or he has it done so quickly he can mess around, talking to us, the audience, makeing modle ships in a bottle, telling stories, telling Rodny to shut up.
This guy was a big influence on me
I didn't know that the guy wh who played the Harbormaster died!😮
That was the longest video ever!
