- TA-DA!!!!!!!! You all waited for a very long time to see this and now it's here! Here is the HQ episode of Emily And The Tug Of War! Enjoy!
BIG special thanks to Daniel Pineda for sending me this!
I do not own Theodore Tugboat. It belongs to the respectful owners - Розваги
Not to sound like an SJW or anything, but it's a very good thing when kids shows teach kids about gender discrimination.
This story is timeless.
Yeah I’d say Theodore deals with good life lessons
Yes! I got quite mad when George said Emily couldn't TUGS of War with them because of her gender! Granted tugboats don't technically have genders but whatever.
@@happyfun7225 what makes Emily a female and Theodore a Male besides their appearance
Didn't expect to see you here!
@@TankEngine75 what do you mean
I like the way Constance showed concern for Emily's feelings - it just goes to show she _can_ be an empathic friend when it matters.
Constance is best ship
A simple yet universally important lesson for children to learn. I wish other kid's shows would show something like this, to understand why it's never okay to discriminate someone based on gender. The subject was handled very well.
and....I just found my childhood
George overlooked a very important proverb in the life for males of all humans, species, and sentient vehicles: "Never underestimate the power of a girl!
True that 👍
Poor Emily
Definitely one of the best episodes to come out of Season 3. It shows the boy versus girl scenario, and it teaches the lesson, never to judge or exclude someone from a group because who they are. This was the perfect episode for Emily, and I loved Constance the Coast Guard's role in this episode too, it was definitely one of Constance's best episodes in the series, and one of the best episodes to come out of Season 3 too.
I finally found my childhood.
I have a feeling today this would be boycotted and hated on! And I can understand why but still! At least Emily shows how she can do anything
A very important episode AND life lesson for people of all ages. We must NEVER judge or discriminate based upon gender or sex. We should learn to look past such things and judge our peers based on their actions and their character. This is why I loved Theodore growing up : )
Thank you so much you two! At long last, the circle is complete!
Poor emily
Have I mentioned that the musical bit at 7:09 - 7:21 is my favorite music piece in this show?
4:56 Theodore: my godness bless me!
This is going to be a good show to show to my nephew.
If only this show was given a "Complete Series" DVD release.
I'm surprised Emily didn't hear Owan's "HEY! WATCH OUT THERE!"
Emily could be at the far mouth of the harbour.
Owan: Stop! Turn back!😡
Poor Harbor Master. Uninvited to a picnic just because he’s no longer a boat captain.
When they are trying to stop the container ship, "No Time For Caution" from the Interstellar soundtrack fits strangely well.
holy fuck
the quality is amazing.
think about it if George had not insulted Emily with his boys only talk he would not gotten in trouble!
In a way that is true. He does tend to run that big mouth of his
That's right, but it takes two to tango here. Emily really needed to get her emotions under control.
Bad Karma!!!!! Yes, that's a reference to another UA-cam channel.
FINALLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Nothing like two boy tugboats building up their testosterone levels in their engines 😆😆
Im not sure if they have mating organs or whatever
Poor Emily. She and the Harbor Master can both relate to being excluded for a petty reason.
That’s how every episode is, the harbour relates his situation to the story of the episode
@@garrettcurren1226 I know that. I was trying to stay on subject of this video, er episode.
I feel bad for Emily. No one should be excluded from any special occasion even if they’re different.
I used to think Emily felt special being the only girl tug in the Great Ocean Fleet, until George told her that sh*t about girl tugs not good at doing tug-of-war. Plus, after this episode, George fortunately began to show more respect towards Emily. As for the HM, I'm happy he was invited to the picnic after all 🙂
Moral of the story: Girls can be just as strong and powerful as Boys. There is no one beating the other, if you put your mind to it, you can accomplish anything.
it's George's fault!
Why? What did George Do?
@@bettyottman1718 He made a sexist statement by saying girl tugs, such as Emily, can't do tug-of-war.
Isn't that right, Jonas?
@@KBAFourthtime Remember the episode "All Quiet in the big harbour" She played Tug of War with Foduck?
@@bettyottman1718 Was it before or after this episode? And no, I do not remember it.
@@KBAFourthtime then watch all quiet in the big harbour.
Anytime I'm watching the intro I always hope to see Hank spinning Bedford. Because that means we get to see the whole intro!
George was basically being a sexist to Emily in this episode. I'm glad he apologized in the end.
George sounds like mr Krupp
Wait does it mean as in like the game tug of war or a tug thats been in war?
we've got everyone with nicknames but what's hanks?
Catherine And katherine had both a same name, but different letter in the beginning
U.S government: you can't vote
women: why not?
U.S government: 3:19
(this is from history i just don't remember when)
Welp, it's official. George is sexist.
Actually if I call correctly George the steamroller is very rude to the engines
Anyone here find this episode controversial?
@@TrainSounds yeah Gorge was mean to Emily
Sooooo true
It’s more or less a lesson to little kids on being fair to one another. Kids do it ALL of the time.
George shouldn't treat his friends like that. It wasn't right exclude Emily from the Tug of War.
Who’s the ship where the shot show Emily and Constance in 10:31?
Jennifer
I like the message of the episode, though I find it odd how George, of all people, has to be taught this lesson. Sure, he's not the nicest Tug, but most of the time when he butts heads with Emily, it's over their egos rather than their sexes. I feel like a new character could've held the beliefs for this episode, like one of the many extra cargo ships the show has.
Alternate title for the episode: George is a Misogynist
Yeah I'm mean girls can play tug of war too and boys too you know that George
George, tug of war is no just for boys. Girls can play tug of war too.
Which is better. Theodore tugboat or Tugs.
Theodore imo, simply bc it lasted longer than 13 eps. It may not have the same tone as TUGS and the pyrotechnics are different, but what sells it for me are the stories themselves. They cover such heavy topics that are still pretty relevant to this day
Boy tugs? Girl tugs? What's the difference? They all look the same.
It's hard to tell male and female boats and ships apart
This episode shows George at his worst. He’s being a sexist prick to Emily
Oh no no no. There is a worse George episode compared to this
@@yamitay9258 How so?
