Cool pickups! You got a lot of subs and you have one of the biggest Bill Evans collections in the VC. Plus your channel has a major jazz focus. Elemental Music needs to start sending you advanced copies of the Bill Evans albums that are going out on RSD.

Great show Bob! I just picked up the Jazz Dispensary too and also the Eric Dolphy Iron Man. The Black Jazz Records, Divine Spirituals and Mingus Incarnations looked tempting.
Thank you for the ride along Bob. Here in Oslo, our one participating store was almost outnumbered by the staff. But hey, Norway was clearly far down on the list of prefered customers, I have never seen so few records for a RSD!
Bob - I always think your RSD videos are the strongest in the VC and I look forward to riding along twice a year. Despite my own hesitations, I grabbed the Bill Evans and was pleasantly surprised with the fidelity, performances, and quality of this release. I’ve certainly paid a lot more for Evans releases that I don’t like near as much as this one. No warp on mine. Highly recommend the Garcia/Grisman “So What”. Was really pleased with that one today.
Give you a lot of credit for standing out in that cold. I usually don't get live albums, but took a chance on the Elemental John Lee Hooker. It surprised me how good it sounded and glad I took the chance. The Jesus Lizard - Blue was also a surprisingly good pressing. I might regret not getting the Jazz Dispensary as I have all the others.
Yeah Bob! I was hesitant too but I got up early and snagged the Garcia/Grisman. Fantastic sounding record. I love everything those two guys put out. Anyway, nice pick ups and Happy Thanksgiving! Cheers! -Jay

This years releases really didn’t cause much trouble in getting what you wanted You probably didn’t need to get in line at 5:30 in the morning I’ve heard it was anti climactic this year
I have some that are very old, been opened and closed many times … depending on the brand ..sometimes the seam on the side will split . That is thankfully rare.
I wasn’t impressed with titles this year but I see you missed one cool funk album by the band, Ripple, I didn’t pick it up because I have og but you need to hunt that one down. It’s got some good funky tunes on it. I was disappointed with the Jazz Dispensary last year, I’m still on the fence about this movie soundtrack comp.
You should edit all your dark morning drives from past videos into one long video with some creepy music and dialogue over it. 🙂

I went to Amoeba Hollywood and I got everything I wanted (six titles). Wait time wAs no more than a couple hours. Best experience😮
My buddy and I went to our local shop and were the only ones there at opening. Slowest start I’ve ever seen lol
