Yeah Ted was so efficient that he moved through the line in about 1 hrs time. So efficient people could go to other locations if they wanted. That’s the way to do it.
I had such a wonderful time with everyone there - Anthony and everyone at Sound Exchange made the experience incredible - my favorite part was not being first on line, but rather finally getting a chance to meet and talk with Brendon! Northern New Jersey loves you :)
Great Video Brendon Fantastic to See the Doors on CD and Eric Carr on CD on record store day i am a CD guy so hopefully one day us CD collectors can join in at record store day thanks for the Video Take care keep collecting
Us CD collectors already are! This RSD was a little light on CDs only having 4 titles that I know about. But past RSD’s have had more like last April which even had a Fleetwood Mac CD boxset!
I bought the Doors CD. Would have bought a handful of other titles, if offered on CD. I guess the record companies don't want my money. Not every music collector is goo goo for LPs. I am glad to see the excitement RSD generates and the exposure provided to local shops like Sound Exchange, just a head-scratcher to me that the music industry doesn't try to maximize revenue by also offering CD versions.
I’m Central WI, I got in line 2 hours early in 15 degrees F weather. Wind chill zero degree F. Felt like embarking on an Antarctic expedition. GD, Joni, Doors, G.Evans, Little Feat scores. I’ll wait for the Wes Montgomery to come out on CD. Thanks!
I could not get the Doors on CD so bought the vinyl then I found out they are selling both the Cd & Vinyl on the Doors website so bought the Cd as well.
I got there around 10am and there was still plenty of titles available. The folks at Sound exchange do RSD right. Nice flow in the store and the set up was perfect. Good job to all.
Hi Brendon: Looked like a blast! TFS! I did not go to RSD, but I did go to my local records store yesterday. I got a free Robin Taylor Zander The Distance CD. I picked up tons of cool stuff. I am going to go back today with more moolah. Rock Always! - Heather
Great fun video! What is the Gang of 4 box set above your head in the intro? I keep seeing it and wondering why you don't pick it up!! Andy Gill was an extraordinary guitarist...such an amazing band. A band I was in supported half the band in a new incarnation circa 89 in a now defunct venue in London.
I got just one title Norah Jones, but my wife got Lil Wayne Post Malone and we ordered after the fact Jonas Brothers I also went to sound exchange yesterday and bought one title non-record store day, the new Jimmy Buffett.
It's always cool to see that physical media is alive. I didn't go for RSD (not sure if there is any event nearby) but I did go to the record store yesterday, at least.
To anyone that owns the new Buckcherry. Do you really like it? Anthony had mentioned that it was edited. That’s a nonstarter for me. I’ll go with the original.
The big find though was at factory records yesterday I've been trying to complete getting every vinyl I bought as a kid between the ages of eight and 12 and one record always alluded me Well they finally reissued it and yesterday I got it on blue vinyl, Ozzy Osbourne's bark at the moon. Strangely sound exchange had yet to get it.
All in all I picked some of what you had gotten, a few things I’m waiting till this week to pick up it was a very slow RSD here in NYC not many lines with the exception of the major RSD store rough trade in midtown which has a bigger store and gets more of things, but the store I have always gone too here usually gets a line but not this year oddly and a lot of neighboring stores agreed it was overall a slow day and hoped the inventory goes at some point because they got pay for the stuff. But I got what I expected and added a few in. Inxs for me was a must, this was basically their long out of print DEKA-DANCE ep from 1982-83 released different title and more things added all of side two is added and two tracks from side one are added, Inxs was infamous from letting band members do instrumental b-sides. The Joan Jett I liked when it was digital only but again when something is digital only I forget it really quick even if I liked the release I need physical to remind me I have the thing. Ultravox a must for me, all those bands from that time like Inxs, Berlin, Duran, ultravox etc.. I gravitate towards. A few other things I picked up Matt Cameron, Norah Jones, Margo Price, Prince and also Olivia Rodrigo (good luck finding that anywhere the flippers got it, which is the downside of RSD) but all in all a good purchase day a few more I’m going to get, hopefully stores will sell the inventory they got and not get stuck with huge RSD bills as I’m sure you know, they are stuck with the inventory.
I love the record store videos
It’s cool vinyl came back. Can’t stop what’s coming back
Nice one, Brendon. Appreciate your comments on the Faces. Hope you enjoy. That’s the sampler for some of what’s coming next year…
I got there when the line was gone and still got what I wanted. Lucky I guess. Nice talking with you.
Yeah Ted was so efficient that he moved through the line in about 1 hrs time. So efficient people could go to other locations if they wanted. That’s the way to do it.
I really enjoyed this. Great record store day experience.
🤘😎🤘
I'm so glad people bought a lot of cds , vinyl, books and magazines. This is very cool
I had such a wonderful time with everyone there - Anthony and everyone at Sound Exchange made the experience incredible - my favorite part was not being first on line, but rather finally getting a chance to meet and talk with Brendon! Northern New Jersey loves you :)

The cover artwork for Joan’s album makes it hard to find.
That Buckcherry is so good
Great fun day 🎉 cool musical loot😊
I got 30 minty used records and 5 minty used cds at my local shop for $50 on Small Business Saturday.
Thanks!
Surely there is nothing more by the Doors to be released !
Doors great
I really hate living in an area with no record stores, the closest being 150 miles away.
I got to my store at 2 am.
Were you first in line?
I could not get the Doors on CD so bought the vinyl then I found out they are selling both the Cd & Vinyl on the Doors website so bought the Cd as well.

Was it a silver one? If so I own it.
@@BrendonSnyder looks gold? 77-81. Maybe it's silver. Should have known you'd have it! 🤣
I don’t buy vinyl but have some of the CD titles waiting for me to be picked up from the record store I go to
The Doors
Eric Carr
Limp Bizkit
I got just one title Norah Jones, but my wife got Lil Wayne Post Malone and we ordered after the fact Jonas Brothers I also went to sound exchange yesterday and bought one title non-record store day, the new Jimmy Buffett.
Sound Exhange Does RSD right. The Record store i shop at in my area had very few titles disappointing.

road apples
What does that mean?
Hi Brendon how was the recording and sound quality like on the doors and INXS
Recordings and sound were both great. Performance was a little subpar for The Doors.
Hey Brandon what is the email address for Sound Exchange? I was wondering if Anthony still the Collective Souk Rsd Release Available.
Brendon why aren’t you wearing a leather jacket?
I need one for Christmas! 👍
No hoodie or jacket? Weren’t you cold lol?
I’m a shorts and t-shirt guy year round 😂
Same here. More reason to like@@BrendonSnyder
