I watched a special on Elvis many years ago, and they were saying that Elvis' music was gospel, because he loved the Lord. But he could never be 'good enough' as a gospel singer. So he went with the pop scene. This clip gives a good taste of where his heart really was.

This is the first time I have actually seen what I always suspected... Elvis knew the Lord, in a very deep and personal way. How sad that life got away on him. He was such a beautiful soul, big hearted, loving, yet trapped in a place he couldn't leave until Jesus took him home.
