I wouldn't consider myself very religious but I do enjoy hearing Elvis singing Gospel. It's extremely moving. Elvis was definitely one of the greatest singers of all time.
I get shivers listening and watching Elvis sing and perform. There has never been anyone else that has come close to Elvis in my opinion. He had a way of touching peoples hearts and being so genuine. Although I was only born in 1973 he has been main reason I even started beleving.Man I wish he was still around.
Lately i miss him so much also ! I wonder what is happening; Jesus may be putting a longing to be safe at home with his entire people , including Elvis , in our hearts!
To be honest, not just Elvis. Also the singer of the Stamps with the strong high voice (forget what his name is) in the beginning of this segment is incredible. And then Charlie cue the beginning of Rocking My Soul, also fantastic. And then off course the man himself takes over with his unforgettable warm, deep, strong and incredible voice takes over. This whole segment is just pure musical magic. Elvis and Gospel music, it was gut(wrong spelling)feeling bond that almost is incomprehensible to take...I'm grasping for breath every time I watch it(and I watch Elvis on Tour, together with That's the way it is, the 68 comeback special , especially the sit down segments, and Aloha from Hawaii numerous times)

I love Elvis too. I grew up listening to him. I didn't hear his gospel singing until much later, but I've always thought he had a unique and beautiful voice. He had many styles too, the soft Love Me Tender, style, the gospel style and the rockin' style, like Hound Dog or See See Rider. One of my favorite sounds to his voice is on the song, Rock a Hula. His voice is so cool on that one. Another is Good Luck Charm. And what about the way he sings My Way.

Believing in God does not make one “religious”. To me, that means subscribing to a particular dogma or “religion”. I think Elvis (and myself) are content with just believing in a greater power we choose to call God. Elvis could sing about God so well!

Just got back from an Elvis convention on for 3 days of non stop singing, all from the UK, America, Canada,Sweden etc....was fantastic, these artists are amazing, they sound so much like Elvis, the winner was from Malta, he won a trip to Graceland and a thousand pounds...well done you were brilliant, the convention took place in Weston-Super-Mare UK....can't wait until next one❤

I love Elvis too. I grew up listening to him. I didn't hear his gospel singing until much later, but I've always thought he had a unique and beautiful voice. He had many styles too, the soft Love Me Tender, style, the gospel style and the rockin' style, like Hound Dog or See See Rider. One of my favorite sounds to his voice is on the song, Rock a Hula. His voice is so cool on that one. Another is Good Luck Charm. And what about the way he sings My Way.

Just got back from an Elvis convention on for 3 days of non stop singing, all from the UK, America, Canada,Sweden etc....was fantastic, these artists are amazing, they sound so much like Elvis, the winner was from Malta, he won a trip to Graceland and a thousand pounds...well done you were brilliant, the convention took place in Weston-Super-Mare UK....can't wait until next one❤
