Thanks for the tips! From what I heard when I introduced my son to solids a couple of years ago, is not to add any salt to purees etc as their bodies aren’t able to process it at such a young age. Also their taste buds aren’t developed fully so what might seem tasteless to us as adults probably won’t be to a tiny human 😊 could be wrong but that’s what I heard x
You're right. Baking powder also has sodium so careful for that, but ultimately the small amounts of salt that most people would put to season foods aren't very dangerous and as each day from conception passes, their kindeys develop more and more till moderate salt is no longer a worry. There's sodium in breastmilk as well just fyi so reducing BM and starting on water + foods with salt included is kind of a natural transition. Mine had a strong preference for salty potatoes, squash, beans and egg over unsalted onse pretty instantly :D and I regret having pushed unsalted and sugarfree foods so religiously for so long on my LO even if it meant him eating much less. With my second I'll be adding small moderate amounts of salt and sweetener items from the get go. :)
We also didnt add salt and sugar even at 14 months now. Usually, babys are not used to it so they arent missing anything and fruits and veggies are full of taste naturally.👍
A senior Dr. told my brother in law, when he was in medical school, that babies are actually born with tastes buds 30× more sensitive/stronger than a adult 😊 hense why they make faces at all new foods and why we don't need to add anything to our foods to enhance them. What taste bland to us is strong to them because their taste buds are new and untouched. ❤

Nice video! How do you serve it afterwards? Do you unfroze it in a specific way?
Finally normal mother who give her baby salt and butter in first food ❤ Sometimes I feel like an alien today
I love this video so much! 🥰
Amazing how Anny looks alike Theo 😳😍🥰
I made some of my own purees for my son when he was Annie’s age but we had a tiny apartment freezer so I didn’t stick with it. We have a house with a deep freezer now so when I have our second (due in October) and they start eating food I definitely want to just make it myself
I found your channel years ago off of a baby food tutorial for Theo 😊
I would love the recipe for the fruit lax spread!
Perfect timing as my baby is 6 months old too! How do you handle intro to allergens? I love your approach with these recipes and am interested if you into these allergens one at a time before you transition to the BLW items.
Delilah ❤ you look beautiful! I wish I had done this when my daughter was little. Anyway thank you for shining your light on UA-cam ❤🙏🙏🙏🙏
I'm amazed you made THAT much food in 2 sessions!
If you created a cook book with every single recipe I would BUY so fast
Your channel is so inspirational and educational!! Thank you for posting this, I’ll definitely have to follow some recipes
Btw I love your dress❤️
My first baby is turning 6 months old soon and I plan to prepare the purees as freeze like this. But, how do you serve them? Just let them thaw? Thanks!
Thanks for inspiring me to one day make baby food! ❤
So helpful!! Thank you!!
The editing 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻
This was a great video! Greetings from 🇱🇺
You are a super woman, Delilah! I don't know how you manage everything!
Amazing video
Hi Delilah, Those baby recipes look good for me to eat. My kids are all grown. I wished I could of done this. But I didn't know how. My Mom didn't teach us. You look beautiful in your dresses & Anna Beth is getting so big & cute. Thanks for sharing!♥️😊🫂🐾🧶🧵🪡🖌🎨✨️
Those are spectacular sweet potatoes 🍠
My baby loved broccoli cheese nuggets!
Also, when do you find the time to do this? My 20 month old would never entertain herself as long as it would take to get some of this done. Not sure how im going to get so many new foods prepped with my second in four months.
You’re so inspiring 😭❤️ my baby was born a few days after yours and I’m gonna try all of these! Currently she’s gagging at anything thicker than a thin apple or banana puree… any tips?
Give it time! Some of my babies were the same at first but they outgrew it eventually :)
My 7 month old refuses purees 😅 my first absolutely loved them! So I'm new to BLW!
Thanks for sharing !!!
This video inspired me so much. My baby is almost 10 months and still hasn't eaten any store bought baby food!
Hey , can you tell me how to use these frozen pureed carrots. I mean, should I give it it like that or cook it again? I'm confused
@JennaJebin I microwave them with rice or barley to reheat them
@@Hollibot4000 thanks :)
I absolutely love your dress!! Where did you get it from? 😍
A company called Neuflora! The company is linked in the description box :)
Maple syrup is ok ! Honey just has botulism risk
Do you have or do you know someone who has a freeze dryer? You could make freeze dried yogurt snacks.
That would be amazing!
