most people dont have the time and tools to perform polishing or paint correction, this is the most down to earth test you can find on youtube Even listed the price for us all to compare which is awesome Love all your vids, i personally dont have the budget to buy all the products i want, but after watching this one i may get the meguiars when it comes to aus
Thanks for the kind words Chris! Much appreciated! It's nice to see my viewers who appreciate the efforts I put in to making these videos, and also this "real world" test on a daily driven neglected car. :)

But for over 15 yrs our 75 Vehicle Fleet of Limo's have used : FOR THE $5 COST OF A JUST USING "TURTLE WAX SPRAY WAX" ONCE A MONTH ON THE WINDSHIELD, HOOD, ROOF AND TRUNK LID AND IF HAVE CHRoME WHEELS.. ( aLSO uSE sILACONE wIPER bLADES, THEY'LAST A AVE OF 5 YRS ON OUR LIMO'S!,
For the money, you can go with Meguiars. For overall versatility, I would go with beadmaker. To waste money, I would go with Adams. Adams makes good products, but I feel the price is not always commensurate with the overall quality.
I would agree for versatility the Meguiars is the best but I would say the p&s you get more for your buck at 30 a gallon vs 15 for 26 oz, if you were to buy 2 megs you would have 52oz or product for the same price you could get 128oz of beadmaker
How about the longevity vs price per ounce? You may get more per ounce with Beadmaker but if you're applying it twice as often it may be a marginal difference at best. Just food for thought
Well I think at least for me, I like to find something that has more durability right now I’m using c2v3 and top it with something like bead maker for maintenance
first place Meguiars ceramic wax second P & S Beadmaker and third Adams Ceramic spray coating since it is much more expensive than others and is equally affected by chemicals like others that are cheaper. In the long term the first two are much more productive and practical than the Adams. Very good video
That Bead Maker stuff BLEW MY MIND! I used it today on my black ‘17 Corvette. I was absolutely amazed. Bought it based on your initial review. I will NEVER dry my car or truck without it. Thanks for the tip. Writing this before finishing this one but I am going with Bead Maker FOREVER. Love that you can spray on while wet. My dry time was reduced significantly as well. Thanks again!
Michael Rachal Just bought my first Corvette a few weeks ago. It's a 2017 black on black Grand Sport. Just wondering g if you did a paint correction on it yourself. My car looks great from a few feet away, but I know it has some swirls. Also did you PPF it at all and or use ceramic coating on it
This is a PERFECT review and demonstration of these products on oxidized and neglected paint because not all of the viewers are DIY's or have time or money to polish. So perfect for the average Joe 👌
Thanks! Of course, as it's impossible to please everyone, some would still have liked to see the products applied on a polished surface, but I wanted to apply them to an unpolished daily driver and see how they did. I'll readjust for a future video. I'm always open to constructive criticism.
I love bead maker: I use it about once per month after a wash to keep up the protection on my base layer. My car stays clean longer between washes, prevents water spotting, and has an amazing gloss.
Pan, love the video, the comparison and the dedication. As much as I know it must be difficult to please everyone, just remember that you are one of the best If not the best on UA-cam for car detailing. From your original videos on these products, I purchased bead maker. Have nothing but great things to say. I recommend to all to buy the gallon. Use it once a month and ur solid to go. The new meguiars, has no fault for the price. Use it as Pan does. We are lucky that Meguiars doesn’t charge more on this. Keep being the best, my Canadian brother.
Thanks for the kind words and for your support Pedro! 👍🏻. I really appreciate viewers like you who take the time to encourage me. It’s lots of hard work doing these videos so it’s nice to see you guys appreciate them.
I still like bead maker overall because of the gloss and slickness! I use it as a topper and drying aid after my weekly car wash anyway so I'm not too concerned about how long the protection will last. But this was a great demonstration between the three products to give us consumers an idea of what to choose which takes the guessing out of it! Keep putting out these good videos Pan!
I think bead maker has the best value. Around $30 per gallon, meguiar doesn't offer a gallon, Adam's is expensive in general but also does not currently offer a gallon.
Well... looks like I would choose the P&S as the winner. Reason being is price, gloss, water beading. However, I am impressed with the durability of the Meguiar’s brand. Like always, you provide very informative videos. Thank you Pan.
I use Meguiars HCW topped with bead maker, cheap and done regularly provides the protection, slickness, and gloss I need. I've found I can just continue layering them without issue.
I like your thinking here! This is a combo I plan on testing out myself! Washed and added once or twice a week I expect it should work flawlessly. How long have you been doing this and how often do you add the HCW / BeadMaker combo?
@@wayniac34 Any time I rinse or ONR the car to get salt off for maintenance (midwest snow storms right now) I top with bead maker. But anytime I do a deep wash with soap I use the combo. Been able to do the combo twice now, will try to do again this weekend.
@@patb5266 Fast Finish has been my base layer for about 2yrs. I have to use those wash bays sometimes during winter months. I have to say though I never use the wash brushes though. I always bring two pads or mitts, and some soap. I waste about 2.00 but worth it to me. If you get a chance try beadmaker. It's cheap and the gloss is actually noticeable. I'm usually skeptical of so many products (hype) for whatever it's worth.
Honestly I do not even care what the results are I am so addicted to Beadmaker that I will never stop using it. It’s the slickness of the paint that blows my mind every time like it’s the first time.
Beadmaker is definitely a great value. Initial coat to my entire Mustang only took 8 to 10 ounces. That is the paint, glass, wheels and trim. It is worth every penny for the gloss and slickness it provides.
Thank you so much for this! A lot of people complain in other videos that werent too positive of Meguires ceramic wax that the surface wasnt " prepped or corrected". Like what? Its an autozone product! Its supposed to be user friendly and for the average person! You demonstrated perfectly with this experiment how they compare on an even playing field ind the hands of the common man or woman.
There you go. I'm glad to see you fully understood the purpose of this video, the target audience and the purpose of use of these products. Thanks for watching and commenting!
Nice job! I thought the Meguiar's came out on top. After the first application the future ones you just spray on and dry. Seems like the easiest to use. Thanks for the video.
I've been using the Meguiars for over a year on two SUVs. I use a Robowash, about once a month, and bring them to my house to apply the Meguiars. They both look great. Glad to see that I don't have to pay a lot for protection.
Hey Pan ... you finally did the comparison against your 1st favourite (bead maker) vs. 2nd favourite (hybrid ceramic)! It would have been a *bonus* to see the effects on other areas like glass /plastic/ wheel rims. Love the way you had the 3 logos showing for consistency. While no one would go to the extreme of those harsh chemicals, it would prove that taking it in to a car wash would have similar effect during the lazy days of not washing your car 🚘. So Pan, for next comparison, could you extend the blue tape to the glass and other areas to test if possible? For an extra challenge, would you consider comparing the lower costs products vs.higher ones? (Sonax/Polish Angel or European vs. American brands) I think the bead maker is great for those who can maintain it on a monthly basis. Meguiars is the best bang for the buck. Adams a bit pricey for so called premium product. I guess time will tell. For each one it depends demographically where you live. On the west coast we get a lot of rain 🌧, and I would luv to try the bead maker. There are many detailing videos on UA-cam, but only yours is considered as the Wikidetailpedia as far as I know ☺️ Thank you Pan!
I use the beadmaker , the gloss is insane, also the slickness. Have only had it on my cars for just on 2 weeks now and the hydrophobic effect is still great. Still can’t get over that insane gloss everyday I go down to my car to drive. Thanks Pan for the informative comparison. 😁👍👍🇦🇺
I would say for my opinion that Bead maker would be my choice then Adams...Watch you all the the time Pan, thanks for the great videos and knowledge base..
Meguiars product is so easy to apply during the rinse stage of a wash both for initial treatment and even easier for top ups that it takes the win for me. It also has reasonable durability and keeps my wax base layers looking excellent
I use Meguires after every wash. For the price it’s affordable, shine and beading is awesome and because amazon keeps sending in poor packaging I get a lot for free because the cracked bottles leak minimally and I still can use what they replace for free.
Don’t worry about the bad criticism pan I always enjoy watching your videos..I really appreciate the effort and the information very helpful cheers mate 👍🏻
Thanks! It's always hard to please 200,000+ subscribers and many more watching. But I always try my best to deliver great content and awesome videos. ;)
I wash quite a bit and apply BM after each wash. Even if it has lower level of protection endurance I'm good with it. When I'm done washing i have to have that shine and pop! Good video!
thats masking which is killing the performance. the products are not being stripped or eroded necessarily. I found greenstar is a good one that doesnt mask. Or you can use SLES.
strictly amateur here, and whapping great holes in even basic chemistry everything I know is third hand info or stuff I learnt from testing homebrew wax durability, but its hard to test these products we dont have too many things to look at. water behaviour we observe from the product can be effected by what we put on top, and some of these detergents will cling as well, the ones that cling are the ones that also give the hydrophillic effect. IPA and water is a good one also as long as its not freezing cold and it can flash away, give it ten mins or something. the BM product withstood ten hits of alkaline cleaner (was given 24 hour cure due to cold weather) 2 months later its on the test panel still but its very close to dead. no spray sealant I have ever seen though will be killed from one hit of APC and water.
Sone car shampoos have the same effect. No beading after washing, but next rain beading and sheeting is back. Thats why i wash with Onr only now. Leaves nothing behind.
@@Malborex Actually, Optimum will tell you it leaves its polymer behind that makes future cleaning easier. I've seen it first hand. I'm not sure how tenacious it bonds but its there. Take a completely clean panel - totally stripped, and wash it down with ONR. Then spray it. You will see it's hydrophobic and nothing like what it was when the panel was srtripped clean.
Nice comparison! I'm sticking with BM. I've used it since you first posted about it and love it. Just reapplied it to the Mustang and my wifes F150 this weekend. Both are garage kept & ceramic coated w CQ and it'd been over 2 months since first applied, and they were still beading great!
Another great video, Pan. Bead maker is still my first choice, but Adams looked interesting for comparison and although it performed well, I can’t justify the cost compared to Beadmaker.

Really like the tight beading with the Adams product. But for the price I think Meguiars did a real nice job. So that would probably be my pick. Also the Fast cure time.
Pan nice job on the comparison. I do have to agree with @1500 Mike that with the Adams product it had the tightest beads. What I would really like to know is how long Adams product lasts? I think they claim 6-9 months and if true that is very good? I’ll say real world would most likely be 3-4 months. So here’s my take....P&S takes first spot for slickness, gloss and shine BUT if I am being honest after watching your videos I’d say first place goes to Adams’s if you like tight beads and a close second place would be Mequiars and third P&S. I know you said the P&S only lasts 30 days before having to reapply and I agree with you about how it seems to have the best water sheathing capabilities BUT doesn’t have the best water beading. So I must admit I am on the fence as to which product to buy? I might have to go back and watch your videos again on all three products BUT for me it’s looking like Adams, Meguiars and then P&S. I think it would be important to update or add how long each product lasts before having to reapply. I believe you Pan when you say P&S has the best shine/gloss/slickness BUT both Adams and Mequiars I think have a better bead effect. Decisions decisions, decisions....ughhhhhhhhh!!!!!
I use the Meguiar’s Hybrid Ceramic Wax and personally love it. It goes on sale on Amazon all the time. I buy a 32oz for $17 and always have it on hand when washing my car. From one application, I was able to get 2 months of water beading and sheeting before it started to to break down, but still provided water beading after 3 months.
I've used ONLY Meguiars products for years and recently picked up the Hybrid Ceramic Spray Wax and found it to be just as good as their other products. Its a great company and their products perform far superior to others on the Market!
Thanks Pan this test confirms my belief that cost of a product does not dictate the quantity. I will stick with BM & Megs FF for now, but I will try the Megs S&W also. Just bought a bottle today at Advanced Auto with a $5 rebate.
Again nice review and comparison. So many of these products out there, I’m a fan of a certain combination that works great for me, but seeing other options is nice. Thx for what you do.
I coated my vehicles with Pinnacle paint coating and top with Bead Maker and it always looks awesome! I topped it once with Meg's Fast Finish but the slicknes wasn't there.
This is a great comparison video! I think for the price Meguiar’s is a no brainer especially since it did the best with the first degreaser. I think videos like this one are very helpful for consumers that aren’t sure what to to buy.
Awesome video Pan, was great to see this ones side by side. Not impressed with the Adam's, I think is to much money, for that you'll better with a true coating, for the Meguiar's, don't know, time will tell. For me, I'll stay with my Bead Maker, most versatile product, the slickness and shine is out of this world, durability for me 30 to 60 days is more than enough IMO, if you maintain and clean you car often there should not be any issues with that. I prefer having that slickness and amazing shine every time I put in the car, than talk about durability, plus it's very affordable as well. Great stuff Pan.
I'd love to go out and check some of this stuff out. But wait, nature hit me with that polar vortex. Oh well, guess there's nothing to do but stay inside and watch some Pan.
I'm in Minnesota and I did some paint correction on my car but ran out of time to clear coat before the cold we got hit with. So the paint cracked and peeled away 😭
I use the Meguiar Hybrid... Follow the directions and put on 3 coats.. Spring time bugs Splattered on my front bumper rinsed right off with my garden hose.. No scrubbing 👍🏿👍🏿
I want to say thank you. For stating that under normal circumstances someone would not put harsh cleaning chemicals on a fresh coat of protection. I have watched some videos where products are called garage after a torture test. Not giving them a fair judgment. Personally I have been trying different products for two years now. Adam's will arrive in a couple days. Ultimately it comes down to what people want to spend and product preference. Thank you for a great video.
Thanks. Also, people have to keep in mind that chemical resistance tests are only ONE of the many aspects to consider when picking a product. Nobody would submit their cars to such an onslaught of chemicals, so I take these tests with a grain of salt. They are fun to watch, and can be an indicator as to which products could last the longest in real world conditions, but there are many other factors to consider such as gloss, price, slickness, durability, ease of application, etc.
The paint is still oxidised, which will stop the products bonding. Even a quick hand polish with some sort of cleanser product before the IPA wide would have massively improved the performance of all of these. I'd also bet that the APC and degreaser are not being totally removed with that rinse alone, and are masking the protection. If you washed with something like carpro reset the performance would largely come back I'm sure.
Hi. Thanks for the constructive criticism. And thanks for being polite about how you wrote. I want to remind people that this was my first "VS" comparison test and I am human. I wanted to make sure I covered all the bases in making sure we test the same panel, on a daily driven car with imperfections, on the same day, with appropriate curing times, a decontaminated and IPA'd panel, etc. Upon reading some comments, I will make the following adjustments in a next test: - make sure the panel is also polished to remove any oxidation that might interfere with the products bonding - make sure that I wash the panel with a pH neutral soap and then rinse to make sure I remove any residue from the chemicals that might be masking the protectant We all learn and I am open to constructive criticism. But regardless of their durability, I would still recommend a proper ceramic coating application as a base layer, and use these three products as "toppers" during maintenance washes, to boost the coating's performance and extent its durability, plus add gloss and slickness to the paint.
@@PanTheOrganizer It's actually still a very worthwhile test. You've gone much further than many people who will buy the Meguiar's will just by claying alone. The Megs did seem to perform best here which is a great testament to how they've formulated a product that will work for everyone from a pro detailer to John Doe on the street wanting to make his car shine.
Thanks Tim! I appreciate it. :). I work hard for my viewers and I thought this would be a cool test as this trio of products were the most requested by fans.
Pan, Great review of competitive product lines. I've just started today using the Meguiar's Ceramic Wax product & really like it for appearance , and super nice protection. It's one tenacious coating & very easy to apply, it's a winner in my book Thanks
Great video Pan. Like others have said, most people that watch this video will apply these products like you have in this video. Those who have more knowledge, time, and tools, and who are real enthusiast will probably go out and buy and try it for themselves. I know if I had the money and time to do it all I would.
Probably the majority of people using these will not polish their car before this, someone spending the time polishing the paint are more probably to use a product of a higher level. Thats why Pan made it this way.
I may be wrong, but I felt Meguiar has the edge in water sheeting. Also, what I can take away from this video is Meguiar ceramic wax is a good product for maintaining or protecting the PPF/ Ceramic coating after a monthly car wash. You're too good, you make so thoughtful videos.👍🏼
Watching your reviews and informative videos is like following the yellow brick road. It really shows that you put in the work to create good content. As a rookie I recently purchased a cat 1800 psi 2gpm electric pressure washer and I’ve bought several products you recommended or reviewed. Keep up the good work and hope nothing but continuous success for you and your channel.
Happy to hear that! Thanks for the kind words Pete. I work really hard to produce videos for my audience, and to share my 24 year passion for detailing with you guys. :)
My favourite is meguiars, the first thing and the most important thing is durability, why do you need sleekness if it easy to wash away, especially when you are very busy and dont have much time for your car
I would recommend adding sonax spray and seal. Also after the torture test application , drying and then using a alcohol ipa whipedown to romove all contamination. Finally the last water beading test. I have noticed using alcohol will romove all that top layer of chemicals which then will reveal the strongest of them all. Keep up the good work and testing.
Pan you should compare Garry Deans products in your testing. He says they are the best on the planet. I always wanted to see how his match up against others.
Your job it's just amazing. I have to thank you for being there and actually testing each product out there on the market. You save time and money to people with your videos experience and knowledge. Thanks for being there for us
I liked the Adam's spray on ceramic coating. I like the idea of a 9h coating in spray on form. I think if you apply multiple layers that Adam's product could be quite good.
Did you actually watch my video? To make sure I respected all of the products' curing times, I waited 10 hours before performing the test, which allowed all of the products to have more than enough time to cure, including Bead Maker. @@coreywagganer
Just picked this up at Wal-Mart for like $15. It is SO easy to use. Leaves a nice shine, and peace of mind that it has some protective capabilities. Also smells really nice.
Hi pan! I would enjoy a quick detailer comparison video! For exemple Wolfgang Uber as a quick detailer vs adams detailer vs chemical guys vs meguiars quick detailer
Clicked on the French version by mistake, only to hear Paaaaaaaaaaaan The Organiser! Then clicked on the English version, only to be disappointed he was gone lol!! 😂 Thanks for taking the time to do this comparison Pan.. ..and congrats on 200k subs. Well deserved 👏
Great vid Pan! If the adams failed so quickly with the APC I highly doubt it would survive a week in a Canadian winter with salt/sand and abrasion, let a lone the advertised 6-8 months. At $100 CAD for a 16oz bottle that's a huge fail in my opinion. Maybe prepping the surface with a polish would allow for better adhesion. I was going to order the Adams coating but not after this.
AtAmBoMb23, and for water restricted use, I go with Aero Products WashWax All, followed up with Bead Maker. For the price, it works quite well. This is my opinion. And I’m not saying it’s better than anything else, but that’s what I like to use.
This is great content! An idea for a test: soil resistance. Maybe use things that might stick to paint instead of the things that clean it? I'm thinking things like engine oil, sawdust, clay-heavy dust, salt, grime, bug guts, bird droppings. Obviously, some would be too expensive or impossible to simulate, but that's just the beginning of an idea.
I personally use McGuire's Ceramic Wax. First of all the quality/price ratio. Very easy to apply and excellent result! Obviously to have well prepared the entire surface in the spring. I repeat the steps before winter and then the following spring. Thanks Pan!
Merci Pan👍
Thanks for the comparison Pan. It gets a little overwhelming with all the products out there. Working on a budget I borrowed a friends Meguiar's DA system do some paint correct on my 15 year old black Buick. Used their Ultimate liquid wax followed with Bead Maker based on your reviews. Can't believe the comments I've been getting!
pan before I left for cuba I applied bead maker on my daily driver and left the car in the garage for 9 days and wow what a difference it made between 2 hours curing time and 9 days curing time ..from now on I will make sure not to expose the car to the winter before the product has cured properly
That was a bit anticlimactic. Lol. Not your fault though. They all pretty much died after the first test. I wish there was some tool that could measure how much of the sealant/coating was still left on the panel. The hydrophobic effect might be gone but is there still a layer of protectant still left?
To be honest, the price and size of the Meg hybrid wax seems like the best. It also withstood the most which could mean its also the most durable in day to day living/use? I think maybe the hybrid spray topped with P&S would be a sweet combo
You mean they got their labels on someone else's formula? Those guys are hacks! I give em props for their social media work promoting their products though.
How do you steal someone else's formula? That's not possible UNLESS the chemist sells them the formula other than that they can make it close to one and use the same "ingredients" but it will never be %100 the same .
@@Scarlif3x are you stupid? Have you ever heard of private labeling? That's when you buy a product formulated and blended by a larger company for a lesser amount then put your own labels on them. You dont actually think Chemical Guys formulate and blend their own products do you? I never said they stole a formula.
Wonderful video, Pan. I am personally going to stick to Meguiar's. For the cost and the amount of product you get, Meguiar's is very economical. It should also be more readily available at many retail stores like Walmart, O'Reily's etc. And as you said in the video, those tests were torture tests and one wouldn't normally subject their vehicles to such extremes unless they're really trying to strip everything off for a new layer of protection, or to make videos like you do. As you have also stated, these are more toppers than standalone. However, it can be done standalone assuming the user will maintain his/her vehicle regularly and reapply on a regular basis. I have been using Meguiar's synthetic x-press spray wax as standalone for the most part of 2018 and it did well, since I used it as a drying aid on weekly washes. I plan to do the same with their hybrid ceramic wax but use it monthly or every other week, and of course, not as much as the base layer.
Wow, perfect video. I used P&S for the first time last weekend on my wife’s Mini Cooper which turned out excellent as it is garaged and could cure over night. Waiting for some descent weather before I apply it to my Audi SQ5. But based on this video, I should probably get it fully silicone coated by a professional then use P&S to top up. Thanks.
Any Sio2(Meguiars ceramic wax, Mckee's hydro blue sio2 coating)products need power washer for best results. Note : Sio2 is nasty stuff , need gloves while applying P&S bead maker is best to wipe on & wipe off and gloss effect easy to apply. Adam Ceramic spray is expensive for non-professional , instead better to apply Carpro Cquartz Ceramic Quartz Paint Protection (best results for professional only). All products will work if you prepare the paint well( iron remover/clay). otherwise waste of time. After cleanup apply Meguiars Ceramic wax then top with P&S bead maker for better protection & best results. Stay away from Adam Ceramic spray is a joke
Meguiar is good for price and the bead maker is very good for the slickness...thanks a lot pan for this videos who make... you are very clear in your videos and you are not leaving any questions for anyone... i would like some time to add products that we use in europe such as auto finesse that you have put in some times, autobrite, alien magic and etc.
Bead Maker is an amazing Slick paint protectant but it's biggest downfall is it's durability. It does not have much durability. Meguiar's Hybrid Ceramic Wax and Adam's Ceramic Spray is very Slick as well, but more durability. FYI... I prefer sheeting vs beading, mainly due to the amount of water spotting and etching that beading seems to leave behind, which is why I have been using Bead Maker mostly. Great video as always.
Yeah it’s weird how people on the comment section are saying P&S was the clear winner. I didn’t see that at all. The meguairs outperformed them all. Maybe not in every category but overall it did. Provided improved gloss, hydrophobic capabilities and durability so I don’t get it.
This test said absolutely nothing....if you had washed away the chemicals in the APC etc properly (e,g, with a ph neutral shampoo) that impacts the tested products by laying on top, you would probably find that their still there and that their properties in terms of beading and sheeting would be back. No way you can remove for example the Adams coating with that short exposure to those chemicals and that little mechanical impact. If that was the case these products would be absolutely useless which they are not.

Thanks Patrick! I appreciate it. I work hard making these videos and I always want to make them as perfect as possible, but I'm not perfect. Heheeh. No worries about your comment, thanks for clarifying you had no bad intentions in writing this. :)
So I think an interesting test to do which would better simulate protection than just beading, would be to weigh vertical panels and then spray each panel with pre-measured simulated mixture of road grim, i.e. a mixture of oil, fine dirt and iron particles and water and then see which panels best sheds the mixture, and then let the panels dry with the grim on them and do a simple water wash of the panels and weigh again, seeing which panels initially resisted contamination and also cleaned off easier. The problem I have with the beading test is that it isn't really what I care about what I care about is the ability to shed grim, and wash easily. Another good test to do would be to measure the breakdown after exposure to intensive UV light.
LOVE THIS VIDEO!! So glad I subscribed last week, I already purchased on your review and can't wait to go through your past videos and see what I need to keep my ride shiny and new!

True, the beadmaker has a special gloss quality to it that's hard to describe. I say give it a shot and see for yourself. I love it.
@@07wrxtr1 so do you use alot only for the first application? I hear you run through alot of it
Well I think at least for me, I like to find something that has more durability right now I’m using c2v3 and top it with something like bead maker for maintenance
I love beadmaker the most. been using it for several months. I also noticed that it hides swirl marks fairly well once it cures
first place Meguiars ceramic wax second P & S Beadmaker and third Adams Ceramic spray coating since it is much more expensive than others and is equally affected by chemicals like others that are cheaper. In the long term the first two are much more productive and practical than the Adams. Very good video
You do know the Adam is 9h ceremic coating right...???
He said meguiars on 3 place
That Bead Maker stuff BLEW MY MIND! I used it today on my black ‘17 Corvette. I was absolutely amazed. Bought it based on your initial review. I will NEVER dry my car or truck without it. Thanks for the tip. Writing this before finishing this one but I am going with Bead Maker FOREVER. Love that you can spray on while wet. My dry time was reduced significantly as well. Thanks again!
Thanks for your feedback Michael! And thanks for the trust you place in my opinions. Glad you enjoyed it! It's a killer!
@@PanTheOrganizer Yep exactly! Keep it up Pan. Always learning new things from your content. Still waiting on your apparel. 😉
Heheh thanks!! I'm still waiting on final designs from the graphic artists I hired. I will be fire! :)
Pan TheOrganizer I. To see hood. From a. Junkyard that rusty
Beadmaker is terrific. I bought it right after you recommended it when you saw it at SEMA and now it's one of my favorites along with Gringots.
I agree. It’s freaking awesome!
I sometimes layer it a day later after I apply Turtle Wax Spray & Shine.
The gloss and shine are outstanding!
I love bead maker: I use it about once per month after a wash to keep up the protection on my base layer. My car stays clean longer between washes, prevents water spotting, and has an amazing gloss.
I 100% agree with you!
So buy all three, mix them together and you have the very best of the best
serious? i am really concern your comment.
adams not available.. out of stock
@@komericanblues643 No don't mix them
This comment was a joke
Or change car body to a mirror body. Always mirror finish😅
Imer V plus way cheaper than Adams
@@SKeyreaper Thanks for the feedback. I live in Michigan so my car hasn't moved in over a week. Can't wait to try this!
It doesn't layer, it just fills out. These products are not like waxes. They are comparable to silicone oils in their function.
This is why i use sonax bsd. it outperforms all these in every test except gloss vs beadmaker by a short margin
Honestly I do not even care what the results are I am so addicted to Beadmaker that I will never stop using it. It’s the slickness of the paint that blows my mind every time like it’s the first time.
Weekend Warrior, yes! I’ve gotten the most pleasing results with it. I was using Turtle Wax Ice before discovering Bead Maker.
Same here, it smells good too!! Haha
Every how often do you guys re apply it ? & do you use any drying agent when drying your car
MrFresshboii0782 Bead Maker is my drying agent. I don’t think you’d use the other two sprays in the same manner.
American brands)
I think the bead maker is great for those who can maintain it on a monthly basis. Meguiars is the best bang for the buck. Adams a bit pricey for so called premium product. I guess time will tell. For each one it depends demographically where you live. On the west coast we get a lot of rain 🌧, and I would luv to try the bead maker.
There are many detailing videos on UA-cam, but only yours is considered as the Wikidetailpedia as far as I know ☺️
Thank you Pan!
Thanks for the awesome feedback!!! I really appreciate the kind words!
Thanks Spradie!
Thanks for this! I bought the Meguiar's and even used it to seal the wheels from brake dust, it performed outstanding!
If I just spent 70 dollars on that Adams ceramic coating and it gave up that fast, I'd be pretty angry
Meguiars product is so easy to apply during the rinse stage of a wash both for initial treatment and even easier for top ups that it takes the win for me. It also has reasonable durability and keeps my wax base layers looking excellent
Awesome comparison Pan! For the money, Meguiars is my favorite, though all of them did well. Love your videos!
Thanks Wayne!
I’m a detailer myself 4 years , I use the p&s for cleaning windows and it leaves no streaks . It’s amazing and I love it
Gratz on 200k mark!! I really appreciated your effort of doing this kind of video
I use Meguires after every wash. For the price it’s affordable, shine and beading is awesome and because amazon keeps sending in poor packaging I get a lot for free because the cracked bottles leak minimally and I still can use what they replace for free.
Are awesome
Don’t worry about the bad criticism pan I always enjoy watching your videos..I really appreciate the effort and the information very helpful cheers mate 👍🏻

Love your vids!
Was about to write the same as Jon.
strictly amateur here, and whapping great holes in even basic chemistry everything I know is third hand info or stuff I learnt from testing homebrew wax durability, but its hard to test these products we dont have too many things to look at. water behaviour we observe from the product can be effected by what we put on top, and some of these detergents will cling as well, the ones that cling are the ones that also give the hydrophillic effect.
Thanks!
Please do this same durability test with 9h ceramics coatings please. TIA.
Adam's Ceramic Spray Coating is advertised as 9H and its $70. Fraudulent product.
All are Over Priced and Over Rated of course.. to sell them.. ( aLSO uSE sILACONE wIPER bLADES, THEY'LAST A AVE OF 5 YRS ON OUR LIMO'S!, WORTH THE aVE oF $25 FOR THEM! )
Really like the tight beading with the Adams product. But for the price I think Meguiars did a real nice job. So that would probably be my pick. Also the Fast cure time.
Thanks!
Loved this Detailed review. I'll put my $$ on P & S Bead Maker. For the price I believe it is a fantastic buy. Thanks for the super review.
Thanks Dave!
I've used ONLY Meguiars products for years and recently picked up the Hybrid Ceramic Spray Wax and found it to be just as good as their other products. Its a great company and their products perform far superior to others on the Market!
Great job, Pan! I very much enjoy your product reviews, and I value your objectivity. Good stuff, my man!
Thanks Tom!
Thanks Pan this test confirms my belief that cost of a product does not dictate the quantity. I will stick with BM & Megs FF for now, but I will try the Megs S&W also. Just bought a bottle today at Advanced Auto with a $5 rebate.
Thanks Toby!
Again nice review and comparison. So many of these products out there, I’m a fan of a certain combination that works great for me, but seeing other options is nice. Thx for what you do.
Thanks Brad!
Thanks!!
Does the 9h hardness in the Adams product not mean anything?
@@KeithMel1 lol who really thought they were getting a fast "9h coating" thru a spray?
Agreed.. I was some what disappointed with the adams that I bought. Next time I’ll definitely try meguiars
Zigie apparently the 9h isn’t really a 9h hardness!

Great video PAN! I will be buying gallons of bead maker when available again. Your tests are true and worthy keep videos coming!!!

Upon reading some comments, I will make the following adjustments in a next test:
- make sure the panel is also polished to remove any oxidation that might interfere with the products bonding
- make sure that I wash the panel with a pH neutral soap and then rinse to make sure I remove any residue from the chemicals that might be masking the protectant
We all learn and I am open to constructive criticism.
Thanks Chuck!!
Great video Pan. Like others have said, most people that watch this video will apply these products like you have in this video. Those who have more knowledge, time, and tools, and who are real enthusiast will probably go out and buy and try it for themselves. I know if I had the money and time to do it all I would.
Thanks Clayton!
Thanks for the content!
I bought Bead Maker and the difference is wild! Couldn't be happier with my first impression IRL.
Thanks for sharing your experience Audrey! How did you discover my channel?
I believe they will bond and perform better if you polish the paint with a light polish or cleaner polish more if it is a neglected car.
In my opinion one of the best comparative video, great job Pan 👍🏽

I’d like to see some testing with

My favourite is meguiars, the first thing and the most important thing is durability, why do you need sleekness if it easy to wash away, especially when you are very busy and dont have much time for your car
I was waiting for this one, great video as always. I’ll use like you recommended before, the meguires and then the bead maker as a top off.
Thanks!

I liked the Adam's spray on ceramic coating. I like the idea of a 9h coating in spray on form. I think if you apply multiple layers that Adam's product could be quite good.
In all fairness BeadMaker requires a cure time of up to 8 hours. I think that would of increased it's chemical resistance.
Did you actually watch my video? To make sure I respected all of the products' curing times, I waited 10 hours before performing the test, which allowed all of the products to have more than enough time to cure, including Bead Maker. @@coreywagganer

P&s is the best in the market, pan please review your thoughts on the inspirational coating by p&s
Beadmaker for the win! Better sheeting, better beading, better gloss, and better price. Can’t argue with that. Adams did look pretty good too though
AtAmBoMb23, and for water restricted use, I go with Aero Products WashWax All, followed up with Bead Maker.
For the price, it works quite well.
This is my opinion. And I’m not saying it’s better than anything else, but that’s what I like to use.
bead maker, as i'm using it and think its quite amazing. appreciate this comparison vid.
Thanks Greg!
I’ve tried Meguiar’s hybrid and have two bottles. Just bought a gallon of Bead Maker and I’m blown away. It’s worth it, even with less durability.
Yep!

I have the Meguiars ceramic wax and being able to apply wet makes it a good drying aid and adding protection all in one wash.
Yes thank you! Finally someone with some sense
That was a bit anticlimactic. Lol. Not your fault though. They all pretty much died after the first test. I wish there was some tool that could measure how much of the sealant/coating was still left on the panel. The hydrophobic effect might be gone but is there still a layer of protectant still left?
yes, you can use "acid like" shampoos to unlock the LSP
Kinda is his fault....coatings do not bond to oxidation. Correction is needed first.
To be honest, the price and size of the Meg hybrid wax seems like the best. It also withstood the most which could mean its also the most durable in day to day living/use? I think maybe the hybrid spray topped with P&S would be a sweet combo
Chemical Guys just dropped their ceramic spray coating. one more product to test.
I think you fully understood the message here! ;)
YEEEEESSSS! Perfect comparison.
Thanks Davis!
Thanks.
Get a good ceramic coating installed and then maintain your finish with Bead Maker. 👍🏻
@@PanTheOrganizer wilco! Thanks - keep up the great content... its perfect!
Any Sio2(Meguiars ceramic wax, Mckee's hydro blue sio2 coating)products need power washer for best results.
Note : Sio2 is nasty stuff , need gloves while applying
P&S bead maker is best to wipe on & wipe off and gloss effect easy to apply.
Where is carpro elixer?
And reload. Isnt reload pretty similar to being able to do this?
I dnt think elixer is out yet
@@tunanocrust2642 reload stinks!! Lol but tbh it isnt really supposed to be used as a standalone product.. More for topping coatings
Maguires number one was the best you can still see after the iron spray come on buddy wake up
Yeah it’s weird how people on the comment section are saying P&S was the clear winner. I didn’t see that at all. The meguairs outperformed them all. Maybe not in every category but overall it did. Provided improved gloss, hydrophobic capabilities and durability so I don’t get it.
Thx Pan for testing out these products. I think this is very helpful for everyone to see how these wonderful products perform.
Hi. Thanks for the constructive criticism. I want to remind people that this was my first "VS" comparison test and I am human. I wanted to make sure I covered all the bases in making sure we test the same panel, on a daily driven car with imperfections, on the same day, with appropriate curing times, a decontaminated and IPA'd panel, etc.
But regardless of their durability, I would still recommend a proper ceramic coating application as a base layer, and use these three products as "toppers" during maintenance washes, to boost the coating's performance and extent its durability, plus add gloss and slickness to the paint.
@@PanTheOrganizer See that my comment might seem a bit harsh....not intention. Great reply an keep up the good work
Thanks Patrick!
Will you do a video and show us?
LOVE THIS VIDEO!! So glad I subscribed last week, I already purchased on your review and can't wait to go through your past videos and see what I need to keep my ride shiny and new!
I’ve just ordered some Meguiars ceramic wax,for me that’s the best option for me.....I’ve just watched one of your videos on it,I’m sold lol
