Mystic River (2003) I believe that's his best movie. This one is top 3 maybe 2. I should add though. He's not in Mystic River, he directed it. If you want a movie with him in it, my favorite is Pale Rider (1985)
Biss please you must watch: Unforgiven (1992) Clint Eastwood acting and directing and his firts film acting and directing: Play Misty for me (1971) about love obsession. And my personal favorites: Absolute Power (1997) and True Crime (1999) both directed by him.
This won pretty much every Oscar going in the major categories. Best picture, best director, best actress, best supporting actor. Clint is an absolute legend
Clint Eastwood not only acted and directed this film, but he also composed the music score you hear for this film too! In fact, he has a hand in composing at least the theme music for most of the films he has directed. The theme music for UNFORGIVEN (Claudia's Theme) was co-composed by Eastwood, as was the theme music for BRIDGES OF MADISON COUNTY and many others. A multi-talented man he is!
Clint Eastwood has made so many great films that it's pointless to call any of them "The Best". All we can do is give our personal favorites. My favorites are "The Outlaw Josey Wales", "A Fistful of Dollars" and "Heartbreak Ridge".
I disagree, the correct answer is Unforgiven. It is a perfect movie. Storytelling at its finest. Gran Torino is my favorite to watch but Unforgiven isn't just Eastwood's best, it's one of the best movies ever made.

She wasn't near the end of her natural lifespan. She had decades ahead of her and she could've adapted and found value again after resolving her mourning. Clint's character was faced with a terribly difficult decision, but he made the wrong decision. It was harder on him to force her to mourn, accept, and adapt. He should've done some tough love and told her to move and find new dreams/goals. But he was overtaken by the emotions of the situation (and he was mourning, too). He couldn't handle the guilt and discomfort of forcing her to do what she needed to do to win this fight, so he threw in the towel (for himself more than her). I am not going to say this decision was the selfish decision, but it certainly wasn't selfless.
God this was a hard movie made much harder watching you. As always great reaction, thank you very much Biss. And please always remain this bundle of joy. ❤
I cried with you❤ To be able to see the beauty, the sadness, the joy and the horrible in "just a movie" is what makes you a true loving person. You are an angel ❤
I can honestly say, when I watched this movie for the first time years ago….it is the first movie that has ever made me cry..it is so tragically beautiful
I like to think that Frank set Maggie free. He had already saved her spirit once when he helped her reach the top and twice when he fulfilled her wish to pass away.

I got this DVD as a birthday gift a long time ago and watched it once. Cried like a baby. That was years ago and I never watched it again. When I saw you were doing a reaction, I watched it. I had forgotten how heartbreaking it was. I'm 76 years old and I am sure I won't ever watch it again.
You've only seen two Clint Eastwood films? You should definitely watch some of his old westerns hey are so good. "Unforgiven" Has been popular lately =)
I remember seeing this movie 15+ years ago and I was so upset near the end. I got so emotionally invested in Maggie and her story that the tragedy that befalls her was heartbreaking.

Bisscute loved your reaction 😭 Next from Clint Eastwood you should do Mystic River where he directs the likes of Tim Robbins, Sean Penn, Kevin Bacon and Lawrence Fishburne.
Clint Eastwood is a master in the film industry. He can do it all. I hope you continue to explore his films. After this one, I suspect you might be ready for something much lighter, something to keep you laughing. If I'm right, check out his comedic side in "EVERY WHICH WAY BUT LOOSE" (1978). Unforgiven and Mystic River are both Eastwood masterpieces. "Unforgiven" works even better once you've seen some of the Westerns he's starred in. That movie serves as a bit of a commentary on his career in Western movies. He doesn't star in Mystic River but he directs it and it's a great movie with a great cast. excellent choice for the reaction Miss Bisscute👍👍👍 a great film by Clint Eastwood. Please for future reactions to his films considered: Unforgiven (1992), The Mule and Cry Macho. and with him acting: The good, the bad and the ugly, The Rookie, Firefox and Dirty Harry.
I would say that Unforgiven was Clint's best movie, then Million Dollar Baby, and finally Gran Torino. They were all such good stories, but the acting sets Unforgiven above the others.
For a revenge movie: "High Plains Drifter." Classic western movie directed and acted by Clint. Also, a "Spaghetti Western", because it was directed by Sergio Leone who was Italian, "For a Few Dollars More."
Gran Turino is a wonderful movie but still brings me to tears every time. This one ... breaks my heart. EDIT: But Bliss makes me smile so much with her enthusiasm and I adore her empathy
I loved your reaction Bisscute💓💓💓💓, for me one of the best I have seen on your channel, you are so emotional and expressive, thank you for that authenticity Madalina👍👍👍. Clint Eastwood has participated in and also directed so many films, it is very difficult to choose "the best", but you cannot miss: Unforgiven, Absolute Power and the Mule and as director: Mistic River and the Sniper
I met Clint Eastwood once. I was in the press junket for the film "J. Edgar," which was informative but not that good. I was dressed ridiculously at the time, due to the fact that I didn't know I was going to have to go to the event until the last minute. I believe I was wearing black Vibram toe shoes, Tuxedo pants and jacket, a shirt that had my own face on it, and Elton John style sunglasses. That was just how I rolled at the time. I'm pretty sure I can be seen if anyone cares to look up the footage for that event. I got to meet Dicaprio and Hammer, and they were both very nice. When I went to leave, I hesitated because I know some actors like to leave after everyone else and I wanted an interview. The room emptied, so I left. I got on the nearest elevator. Clint Eastwood was in it. He was nearly 90 at this point; his posture was phenomenal. He looked me up and down with a look of confusion. I didn't say anything. He totally could have fucked me up in that elevator.
I think Unforgiven was his best movie. That's a hard thing to say because he's made so many great films. Million Dollar Baby is definitely one of his best.
Pale Rider, Unforgiven,Dirty Harry, Heart Break Ridge, Hang Em HI, the man with no name trilogy. He's been in a ton of movies. Hell he made a movie were he was a bare knuckled fighter with a orangutan that was my favorite growing up. It was amazing to see him in his roles as a younger actor but his movies just got better as he went on.
I absolutely ❤❤❤ this movie. I cried watching you go through all the emotions at the end Biss. And you're right, Frankie gave her a Mercy by letting her go out with the dignity she had left. But yes, this is such an amazing story of love and compassion between two people, not related and not romantic, just family you choose. Especially when your own family is, well, absent. Obviously Maggie got to have a father and Frankie got have a daughter, each for a little while, but so full of love. Dammit, who's cutting onions!!
Yeah, i love this movie, too. 'Really love it. I think this is the best thing Clint Eastwood has ever done. I don't know if you saw it, but he also scored this film. The music is his. Clint Eastwood is a musician. He plays piano, and he's a bit of a jazz aficionado. The storyline, the script, and the remarkable acting performances; all are so exceptional. The priest had told Frankie that if he did this thing, he would be lost. His love for Magie was so strong that he was willing to sacrifice himself to stop her suffering. And then he just disappeared. I love that the narration was actually Scrap's letter to Frankie's daughter; to let her know what kind of a man he really was. This is my second favorite movie after ONE FLEW OVER THE CUCKOO'S NEST. But it's a close second. I'm glad you saw the beauty in it, too.
I knew this one would be a hit... it's a real gut punch too. Puns aside, it's a top tier movie even if you're not into boxing. Speaking of that, I love that maybe a year ago, Biss wasn't enthused about watching a boxing movie (Cinderella Man); now with that, the Rocky movies, and finally Million Dollar Baby, Biss is super excited and fully immersed. Great reaction. Dirty Harry is an old-school classic police action-thriller starring Eastwood in the titular role, and the Man With No Name trilogy (The Good The Bad & The Ugly, For a Few Dollars More, A Fistful of Dollars) is an Eastwood classic... Even though it's not a sports movie or Eastwood related, if you love this I bet you'd like Pan's Labyrinth.
Great movie girl. Once again, I really did enjoy watching it from the beginning to the end. If you haven't already, please do yourself and your viewers a favor by watching "The Beguiled", "Play Misty for Me", "Dirty Harry", and "The Gauntlet". These are just four of my many favorite movies with Clint Eastwood. You will not be disappointed. Have a Blessed Day. Adios.
Clint Eastwood is becoming my favorite in regards with directing and producing !! WHAT should I watch next ???
Mystic River (2003) I believe that's his best movie. This one is top 3 maybe 2.

Trouble with the Curve(2012) A baseball movie with a good ending. You deserve a happy movie.

I loved how the narration of the movie wasn't for us but for his daughter you never get to see.

I would say that Unforgiven was Clint's best movie, then Million Dollar Baby, and finally Gran Torino. They were all such good stories, but the acting sets Unforgiven above the others.
Bless you( for the sneeze) and well , hell, just in general. ❤
Nothing but the best for you Biscuit. .✌️
He did the right thing, she wanted to go. Great movie, Clint has made so many great movies, but A Perfect World is criminally underrated.
Clint Eastwood: A Living Legend
Aww Biscuit, Rocky cared about his nose too and looks.. he became world champion.. you could do it! 😎👍
The storyline, the script, and the remarkable acting performances;
all are so exceptional.
This and Gran Torino are 2 of Eastwood's best in every role he did, in front and behind the camera.
Adios.
Thanks, glad you enjoyed it. ill keep those movies in mind
loved it when you said the GOAT, go girl, great movie and great reaction, thumbs up,
