Matt Damon was friends with the writers, and, was filming one of the Bourne movies in Pague at the time they were there filming this. On a day off, he came to the set to film his cameo.
actually it was The Brothers Grimm and he wore a wig in the movie, so he was like "just shave my head"
The whole film was filmed in Prague, they never filmed anywhere else. Even inside the Vatican scenes, that was the national museum.
And Czech actors, like Miroslav Táborský (26:50).
Being from Amsterdam this makes the movie so weird. None of the places they go feel like the actual cities if you know them.
@PaulTheTurkish-ny1wc I'm an American living in Holland. You're right. However, this was kind of a satirical comedy on how Ameircans viewed Europe at the time. Just a fun movie.
A whole lot of movies from this time period were filmed there. Czech government must have been giving some really big subsidies or something.
@@BigIronEnjoyer Well, why subsidies, when Czech Republic was more developed than other Eastern European countries, but far cheaper than all Western European countries? ;)
I literally lost it when she said "three more tunnels and we're at first base" 🤣
"It's stupid but it's fun."
That's this movie (and a lot of 90s comedies) as a whole. 🤣
This isn't a 90s movie.
@@DustinAxelson Yeah, I know, but it was dying down by this time.
@@DustinAxelson 🤓
2004. Close enough
Biss just became one of my favourite reactors, I love a person who can identify humor and not get upset!
No one ever gets upset at EuroTrip, not even the extremely sensitive people, it’s too good
This movie once again proves my theory, that Germans love David Hasselhoff
I am not German but he is very loved indeed
Doooo!
And that is something no one can ever take away from them, unless they kill their wife and a waiter...
i am german and i think he´s a cool guy ^^
watched knight rider all day as a teen :)
@@Zireael83he’s a terrible person, actually
Vinny Jones is amazing in his small supporting role, he's perfect at playing a hooligan.
yeah, love him in this. and alos in lock, stock & two smoking barrels
Yet, he got beat up by a drunk obese bar patron in a Minnesota bar. He needed stiches.
Also kind of hilarious he is portraying a Manchester United superfan/hooligan, considering Jones played for Leeds during his career lol
@@shanklygates909 The cockney accent is the really unlikely part. Footballers are mercenaries, they will play for anybody
"Scotty doesn't know!!"
"That Fiona and me"
Can't believe he's so trusting, while I'm right behind her thrusting.
Fiona's got him on the phone, and she's trying not to moan
Scotty didn't know that Fiona was a hoe 😂
My ringtone
The most savage line in the song:
“I did her on his birthday.”
I've said "Mi scusi mi scusi" a lot in the 20 years since this came out. Biss getting the Hans Gruber reference right away was so cute.
The Manchester United superfan, who was also in Snatch, was a professional footballer from 1984 to 1999. Vinnie Jones - he played for Wimbledon, Leeds United, Sheffield United, Chelsea, and Queens Park Rangers, but never for Man United.
Honestly, watching your intro, this was the first time I got the “Hans” “Gruber” joke!
This movie always slapped I was like 13 when it came out so yeah this humor was def right up me the boys alley😂😂😂
Best reaction ever. Thanks! :)
To me, this is the funniest of the modern teen comedies. Lots of great jokes, and amazing callback after callback. Banger song. It's got it all.
Lucy Lawless was on the 90s TV series Xena: Warrior Princess
And Spartacus
And Battlestar Galactica after this movie
Hilarious flick, I cried I laughed so hard the first time I saw it. Wonderful reaction Biss!
90's and early 2000 movies are still my fav. And I am born early 90's.
From asian Shaolin Soccer/ Kung Fu Hustle / Fight back at school.
To Eurotrip, Deuce Bigalow, Shaun of the Dead and more. Always be the best movies. The Classics.
i love how you knew exactly what was going to happen on the train
Aw the way you roll your R's! It's like a cute romanian dolphin. Haha your adorable, keep up the good work!
After a rough day your rolling rs make my day so much better. Biss stay amazing 🎉🎉🎉. Go buy a yacht, mansion, and new car since I know how good your exchange rate is.😂
Thank you so much for the extra support
@@BissFlix thank you for being awesome
*EuroTrivia* : The three writers/directors were also writers/directors for the TV show Seinfeld. You can see a similar dynamic between the three main characters in that there's the whacky one, neurotic one, and "normal" one along with a female who's just one of the guys.
The writers/directors went to college with Matt Damon. Since Damon was in Prague filming a movie while EuroTrip was filming, they asked him to do a cameo.
That's interesting...after EVERYBODY telling me how insanely funny Seinfeld was and I HAD to watch it,I tried....at least five different episodes..for about fifteen minutes each..not even a smile..I thought it was boring as hell.Hard to believe the three guys responsible for this movie(which I find very, very funny)had anything to do with Seinfeld but there you go.
....and the little kid goosestepping..I was sitting in the theatre laughing so hard I was crying.
@@BobCrabtree-ev4rz Same. I've tried it and didn't laugh once. Seinfeld himself is painfully unfunny.
im guessing that movie was Bourne Supremacy
@@BobCrabtree-ev4rz If you don't think that "The Contest" is funny then there is something wrong with you.
for some reason i never realized she said "hans gruber"... actually pretty funny.
That was epic and then the monkey
When I was a kid it went over my head, but it killed me later when I realized what the reference was x]
Unless I'm missing some european culture, that would be reference to Hans Gruber the villain in the iconic Die Hard film.
I'm so glad you appreciated the humor of the movie. The best reaction to this movie.
5:50 my text alert for most of the 2000s.
6:25 the most Bisscute thing ever. stops her train of thought to comment on a newspaper toss. this is why Bisscute is one of the best reactors.
Mark Twain was the originator of the Americans visit Europe story, The Innocents Abroad
a connecticut yankee in king arthur's court?
The actor who played Cooper is in a great show that I highly recommend watching called "Justified"
Jacob Pitts.
Hoosier from the Pacific
A totally serious role but yet he's just as funny at times.
just checked on him. He is my age. Fine year, 1979.
Jamie also appeared in one episode as a boxer/ enforcer
i miss this movie. i still remember using "mail mofo" as my ringtone back in high school lmao
26:04 - "Miami Vice is number one new show!" - Miami Vice, starring Don Johnson and Philip Michael Thomas was on TV in the US from 1984 to 1989.
29:16 - His car/truck is painted to resemble a car called The General Lee, from the American TV show The Dukes of Hazzard, which aired from 1979 to 1985. It was about an honest, southern country family (basically hillbillies) and their encounters with the corrupt businessman who ran their county, and his equally corrupt sheriff. It was a comedy drama show. Even his horn is the same as on that show.
Of course, both of these were remade as movies in the 2000s...
I'm thrilled that you actually saw Eurotrip. This is a favorite of mine and seeing your reaction made it even more fun to watch. Thank you Biss.
Scott Doesn't Know was performed by the band Lustra, and it is available for download. This movie is just wildly funny for so many reasons. Great reaction Miss! ❤
Great reaction Biss like always, love this movie is so funny. This film is seriously underappreciated. I know it's silly and all that but it's just a step above the usual fare in this category. I've seen it several times and I still laugh every time Coop is talking to his boss on the phone. I love that in the Wundersex club the two big henchmen are Hans and Gruber...as in Hans Gruber the name of the antagonist in "Die Hard" I think that is overlooked! Matt Damon cameo happened because the screenwriters of EuroTrip were his college friends and asked him to appear in their film while he was in Prague shooting another movie. Keep up the good work
Thank you for reacting to this movie, it was my favorite growing up haha, Greetings from Uruguay
My pleasure, welcome in and I’m happy you enjoyed the reaction
25:30 "Welcome to cigrarettes, Vodka and bad decision Europe" 😄😂 that caught me off guard!
Hello, neighbour, your reaction is priceless ❤
Thank you
You're so pretty and I absolutely love your laugh! Great reaction!!!! I'm looking forward to more of them. Take care 😊
The David Hasselhoff bit cracks me up every time 🤣
Haha
I feel like this is extra funny for you. You're laughing makes me laugh 🤣
This is one of my favorite movies that I can watch a thousand times and always laugh.
It seems crazy to me that there is such a mix of characters like Matt Damon, that Lucy Lawless from XENA the Warrior Princess appears, "Lana Lang" (Smallville) Incredible and every moment of the movie is funny and even a meme.
😂 Honest to god, I was literally just rocking out to the Scotty Doesn't Know song while driving home in my car earlier today! It's on my favorites Playlist.
It’s catchy
"Early 2000th movies where freaking wild"
I miss those day and loved movies. They were comedic fun.
one of my faves. Really fun portrayal of europe and americans travelling through it
Stupid humor is my favorite, I love it! In your time as a flight attendant, did you ever make the 11 hour flight out here to San Francisco? 🙂
I love how she lights up when the movie was poking fun at Eastern Europe.
You know, I’ve probably seen this movie 50 times or more over the years, but seeing it with you was definitely the best time I can remember watching it again… you are so sweet and you have a great sense of humor about things. I love that I can get a Euro girls’ perspective on this movie 🍿🎥😁
I love to see you enjoy the comedy. Love your reaction! You’re beautiful!
Eurotrip is one of my favorite comedies of all time. And Coop is my favorite guy there. As you said, they laughed at everything including themselves. And that's what i love about older comedies: people weren't afraid to joke, to make fun of things. To hell with the fear of offending someone as long as it's not a one-sided mockery. Thanks for the reaction!
“Mi scuzi.” Favorite movie quote I still use. Traveled to 25 European countries and Portugal is my favorite.
Oh nice, must have been an experience
I love your laugh!!
There's nothing quite like a girl with a good laugh. Biss's is fantastic
The original ending (it's on youtube) had Mieke go wtf from him showing up. Showed them talking it out and having her leave on the boat. But she did end up meeting him in college later on. More realistic, but the movie is crazy, so no point in making the ending realistic.
I never knew that. They definitely made the right decision to go with this ending instead.
They actually tested that ending with test audiences and none of them liked it, so they changed it to the one currently in the movie. This is not uncommon actually. If you ever saw Final Destination, the original third act was replaced after test audiences disliked the original one in test screenings.
That would have been a horrible ending
@@bigsarge8795 It's a more realistic ending, but the movie itself is widly unrealistic so the generic guy gets girl ending worked much better.
@@rowaystarco umm.. I know.
When this came out, I was going to see my dad in Greece and was going to see others around the world from Poland to Sydney.
The "where's the beef" guy in Bratislava was also Boris the Blade aka Boris the Bullet Dodger in Snatch.
Nice reaction, thanks for the entertainment.
Loved your reaction Miss Bisscute, thanks for this one. 💓💓💓
I saw this movie once, greetings from Uruguay 🇺🇾 have a good day 🙂 🤗
You are the worst twins ever! 😂
Such a classic now. I was in my twenties when this came out .
My heart skipped a beat when you said that you haven't been to Denmark. Well if you ever come here AND need a somewhat ugly but funny guy to try to show you around our capital, you just let me know😆🙏🏽☺️ But thanks for reacting to this olden goldie of a movie😁
Bisscute's laugh is everything.
First of all I am glad to find your channel. I love your accent and I was curious where it comes from. So we are neighbours. I am hungarian. I like your thinking about watching movies alone or together. I saw all of these movies a long time ago, but its different to rewatch with your oppinion. Congrats. First of all that you understand the jokes what an american think about us eastern europeans. It can be funny or disrespectful. It depends how we handle. But you make me wonder: how much languages do you speak? Two thumbs up for you and keep up with the good work.
One of the funniest movie i ever saw, and the song stills sounds in my head after all this years
This time reactions from the movies comments on each country, with the smirks, were so nice!
Or do like me when I visited The Louvre with my daughter, I skipped the whole long line by entering the stairs nearby down to metro and in underground they have also a direct passage to The Louvre with almost no people waiting in line 😉🤣❤️
Funny, how you mentioned the full moons, but not the wieners flapping in the wind 😂
Also, about the mile high club...now we wanna hear stories from the job 😄
And thank you so much for reacting to this movie, it's one of my all time favorites ❤
I had the same reaction as you to Hans and Gruber 😆
Aaand I think I've actually been to that apartment building in Berlin...
To answer your question, I've been to Germany, Austria, Romania and the Netherlands (Amsterdam among other cities) but we are planning to fly to Italy next year with friends.
Love seeing different versions of this movie from different reactors. Sometimes you get a few different cuts from the one I originally saw here in Canada.
Absinthe is one of my favorites, it’s an acquired taste but the botanicals makes you think more which is why it was the favorite for a lot of artists and writers and they created masterpieces on it
Funny thing about Mat here! He was friends with guys on the film and they asked if he would do this cameo and he said yes! They filmed this party but someone had gotten real beer instead of something non-alcoholic! When they filmed the scene most of the people there were tipsy or drunk including him!
YES.......... Bissflix's laugh on a Quebec forest rainy night....the best.....Thank you so much...ok back to the movie now to have fun...Hope some people are going to be Discoing...who knows...
The Eastern Europe part was poking fun at the stereotypes that American movies used during and after the whole former Yugoslavia situation in the 90s
enjoyed your reaction! 👍☺
"That was weak." This made me literally LOL.
Didn't know u were on twitch ... just subbed !! ❤❤❤
Yeeees been streaming for 3 years now , thanks for dropping by

I had the same reaction as you to Hans and Gruber 😆
Aaand I think I've actually been to that apartment building in Berlin...
Your commentary at the end was fair and balanced.
Leyend says Scotty still doesn't know
26:09 Boris 'The Blade' Yurinov also from Snatch
My Czech grandma taught me the right way to drink Absinthe:
Pour it over a sugar cube into whisky glass ( u need a sive )
Light the sugar cube on fire until melted
Pour ice water into the glass blending the absinthe and melted sugar
Stir and enjoy!
Interesting
Great reaction to this early 2000s gem. Especially great to hear your perspective since I believe you live somewhere in Europe. I apologize if this is well known. But yea, great to visit this movie with your reaction. Funny AF movie!
Your laugh is so endearing. Makes me want to swim to Germany.
Yes, Bisscute lives in Germany, born in Romania very nice. I think you laughed a lot very well to see. I enjoyed this one also. The robot fights super funny. Hahahaha...
Be safe well healthy humble kind always❤❤😂😂🎉
Try asking your patron folks about a movie "Powder". Kinda sci-fi.
Thank you so much, happy you enjoyed this
Your very Welcome❤❤ Amazing Georgous Woman Biss😂 I laughed my buttoff.
This woman is hilarious. You have a new sub
Was waiting to see you react to the eastern Europe bit
**dog with human hand in his mouth**
Biss: "do we have this? Yes."
Haha, thanks for watching
Mi scusi! It's not ghosts that they are busting!
I was excited to see that you were reacting to one of my favourite movies, Biz!
I visited my first European country in 2022, when I went to Italy (Rome). It was amazing. I want to visit so many places in Europe, like Germany, Belgium, Denmark, The Netherlands, Poland, France (just not Paris), Czechia, Austria, even possibly, Romania, Finland, Sweden and Norway.
I've been to seven countries in Europe, not including the UK where I'm from. My favourite city has been Berlin, which I've visited four times. I'm due to go to Norway for the first time in October.
28:22 your face bisscute lol 😂🤣
Ur reacton was too much fun! I saw this right out of high school and it was iconic! They just make fun of everyone especially themselves as ignorant americans, Its just too much fun and one of the best made for movie songs ever!!! Great reaction great channel!
Great road trip Movie, I enjoyed it way back when. It makes fun over the top of all Countries they visited equally for a few Minutes. I'm from Germany and friends and me had our fair share of laughs about Heinrichs impersonation because it was not stretched for the whole movie and it was made fun of everyone else equally
One girl is from "Smallville" and the other one is from the series "Buffy" ;-)
Yep, Kristin Kreuk and Michelle Trachtenberg
If you watch this on DVD it has the director commentary on it. The movie has three directors. They have a drinking game while watching the movie. Every time there is drugs, sex or alcohol, they take a drink. They are completely wasted, ordering pizza and calling their wives to drive them home by the end of the movie.
I have been to Norway, Denmark and Germany. I hope to see more. I'll be honest, I don't mind the booba scenes. 😅😍
The little boy dressed as a certain dictator had me. 🤣🤣
I was once on a flight, and a couple were caught by the flight attendants coming out of the toilet. They made an announcement that this was not aloud. I never seen people turn that many shades of red before. I felt bad for them, but it was also very funny. 🤣😜
I'm very happy you watched the stuff in the credits, there where some great stuff in there. The woman at the hotel telling him about their valuables and where to hide them, The faulty wiring and all that. But my favorite was the lady in the confessional telling them what to do.
Haha yeah I try to remember to always check for scenes in the credits
Love this movie! The Robot dance off/fight is the best!!!
You mentioned way more beautiful places in France than Paris. I’m just curious of where?
Happy you enjoyed the reaction
Eurotrip is one of my favorite movies. It always makes me laugh. It is smartly written and well acted. I know a couple that took a two-week trip to Europe for a big music festival. One of the other places they visited was Bratislava, because the husband loves this movie so much.
and the exchange rate is insane.
Ah man I'm so glad you reacted to this movie :D They don't make comedy movies like this anymore, you should check out Grandma's Boy another early 2000's comedy
Something I never thought I wanted, to enjoy this movie with a travel guide friend!
I really enjoy your reaction because I don't imagine you like this sense of humor movie.
Scott's girlfriend (Fiona) is Kristin Kreuk actress from smallville series (Lana Lang).
We need your reaction for Scotty doesn't know song to 😂
I'm from the US. So far I've been to England (only London, though), Germany 3 times (once as a student to Köln, once as a student to Berlin, and once on business to the Nürnberg Toy Fair), twice to Austria (once to Vienna as a student, once to Salzburg as a tourist), and also to the Europe side of Istanbul. I think Köln was my favorite city, but part of that might have been because I stayed with a family there (everywhere else I went to I stayed in hotels or dorms)
Some notes/observations:
- I was at a trade show a few weeks ago, and one of the attendees was an Italian man who just like the one in the film had almost no sense of personal space (it wasn't sexual, but whenever he talked to someone he'd always stand only one pace away and always touch someone's arm or shoulder)
- There were two actors from Snatch in this film; the man they meet in Bratislava also played Boris the Blade/Bullet Dodger in Snatch
- I'm pretty sure the dog with a hand in its mouth is a reference to Yojimbo...
PS have you ever been to America?
Ha ha, "Cigarettes, Vodka, and bad decision Europe". Best discription of E. Europe I've ever heard.
thanks for reaction
best review i've seen of this movie!!!
Yeah bissalways makes things better
I love how this movie can be enjoyed by Americans and Europeans alike. My wife is Polish and has friends all over Europe, and everyone of them that's seen this thinks it's hilarious. It's pretty well done and is perfect satire of stereotypes. Very fun, one of the best comedies of the last 25 years.
Oh and my wife loves Italy, too... I'm warming up to it. Been there a couple of times, going there again in a month... In fact taking the train from Switzerland to Italy, I'm hoping there's a long tunnel, I've been practicing my "Mi Scusi" ... 😆
