Awesome videos love trains in the snow
Me too, Thanks for watching!
Now this is the kind of weather that I would love to ride on a train! Bundled up in a nice warm blanket, next to the window, and watching the snow fall outside my window! Great video!
Thank you! For sure, driving through a good snow would be great while on a train.
Great video, thanks for sharing
Thanks for watching!
Amtrak Snow plow 😂
If this is blasting thru the snow, I would hate to see your definition of cruising thru snow!!!
We have no snow here so watching you video made it feel like winter. Thanks.
Thanks for watching!
I often wondered if operating these trains in this kind of weather is as stressful on these guys as is on truckers
I'm sure it's close...limited visibility and vehicles getting stuck everywhere or pushing their luck across crossings
I got 3 to 4 times the snow in Michigan City, Indiana. I could not get out to see them plow through. Today Jan 23 2024 rain.
I saw you all got dumped on. We ended up with 16 inches here

Buy a tripod.
Wouldn't have really helped much that day and definitely would have got knocked over by that burst of snow 371 sent my way.
Awesome videos of the blizzard at Porter, I was there few years back in mid winter and videotaped a lot of trains blowing through, great job 👏
Thanks! Always makes for great videos when there's snow coming down!
nice to cold for me I live in Florida
What a beautiful train! That sort of window on the engine is special. Really different design.
It sure is!
are you sure that that''s a Wolverine? I think it's a Blue Water. Wolverines, last time I checked didn't have power on both ends. I see the Blue Water every day and this looks more like it.
You're right about the blue Water always running lead and rear power. Wolverine does on rare occasions too. This was 730am...definitely Wolverine. Blue Water doesn't run to Michigan til 4pm'ish
@@bigjayusmcCertainly not the Blue Water. I just hear it an hour ago where I live
Very nicely done! Very easy winter so far in Utica NY, hope we get a few good storms before spring (makes for better videos)!!
Thank you! Definitely, this was the best snow we've had in a while...had to get out there!
Wow! Now that's up close and personal.
I wasn't expecting that burst on my side of the street when the train hit the plowed snow.
Meanwhile in England, any type of rain causes a meltdown....
I thought it rained a lot in England? Almost as much as Ireland!!
Meanwhile in Canada, you call that snow? Mind you, we have the world's worst passenger rail service, but not because of the snow.
I'd love to ride via rail #1 one day!
@@bigjayusmc You can't beat the scenery, but VIA's very poorly run. However, there's serious talk from the government of making improvements, and so far they've delivered, with some shiny, new trains.
Fabulous ❤❤❤
Thanks!
BRAVO BRAVO
Thank you!
This must be fresh snow as there is no buildup from plowing on the crossings?
Yes, heaviest band started just before that 1st train...was a little buildup when 371 came thru as I got covered in what he threw up in the air
I was on 350 on the 20th
That's awesome, I would have much rather been on that train
Very cool! Saw the wave from the Amtrak cab, and the horn from the bnsf! I have friends near there, so kind of know where you are!
Thank you!!! ❤
Awesome shots in the snow!
Thanks a lot!
Great footage, I operate Army locomotives
Thanks, now that sounds like an awesome job
@@bigjayusmc it can be I only operate on military installations the real challenge is when I'm pulling a lot of track vehicles because all of that weight you have to really control your speed
