Hi, nice and easy guide Btw u can still scout with harbors :) the sailers wont produce gold but they will scout if u want (from harbor tab like before)
actually i playtested it, the relic is now worth if opponents didnt build the towers on the shores. you can scout first and delay the relic or dont forge the relic if its not neccessary. because most of players dont do production building on the coast tile while playing against raven.
You can absolutey do so, while the giant is basically the nail of the coffin for the clear clans, that might take your raids as a gold or fur farm otherwise. You can certainly be a lot quicker if you cut the relic out tho.
Dont like the raven rework, but it was necessary, raids where so op back then. with torching the buildings and that you could actually beat the townhall tile with them. also the other stuff too, like buying new villagers...but i liked it :P
There should be a punishment for ignoring the raid, for every two mercenaries alive one building catches fire. Perhaps you could increase the cooldown of raids so they become more impactful but less frequent.
I suppose the "google playstore" :P, but yeah all non steam versions of Northgard are basically snapshots of the game from whenever the version released.
Hey Dentist! Love your content. Question; Is it not easier to build an early harbor, put in 2 sailor, and send a raid (40kröwns) to clean the early 2 wolves?
I guess If it's a coastal tile that wouldve Made a lot of sense! Then it might also make Sense to clear it with mercs, even If you're in a teamgame. At least if the lore is blocked
Personally, don't like the changes. It became less versatile (in ffa atleast), landing fight is the only option now, lore victory is hard without sailors, raids usually just getting ignored, trade rush is not possible anymore. Playing against new raids is all about luck, just pray you don't have two farms on the beach, otherwise just use seaside tiles for relics, altars, camps etc. it's not so interesting to play against it anymore, no possible Svalin, no need to keep an eye on defense etc. They shouldn't revamp this clan, removing arsons would be enough.
Well raven has rarely been in a Spot, where everyone were Happy with IT, but for me personally it is a little to give my final verdict. I can certainly See potential, but also weaknesses in the new raven
I honestly love the changes to raven clan in the recent update. Certainly powerful if left unchecked. Its crazy how similar our strategies and build orders are.
Yeah it can be pretty good :P Yeah I First tried it Out and found it pretty Trash to Mine the Iron and Stone while scouting and realized while taking a Break, that i completely forgot that i could just Hit jörds super easy :D
I am new to Raven aswell as to the role of scout in a team in general,so I apologize if this is a dumb question What are your priorities places to scout? Do you just kinda go straight down the middle and if you see something interesting you scout it? Or maybe go from the left and just hug the wall? Or if you have a Kraken on your team do you try to get to the neutral factions first?
if you scout for your teamates that want to rush early you would just scout a straight path to your opponents main tile. The raven however is just that good at scouting that you should always be able to scout the whole map in time. If you ask your teamates to not scout to much, so you can grab all the lore for scouting them, you should ofc scout alll the tiles around your teamates first, so they dont have to suffer for your greed ;)

Ouf, didnt know that, but the downside also seems huge. Good to know tho thanks! :)
@@CrazyDentist after everything along the shoreline gets scouted, it will automatically go back to producing gold
This seems fun. thanks.
You're welcome and enjoy! :)

Great video, going to give this a go!
Hope you'll enjoy!

What is the formula that determines how much loot you get from a raid?

My scout didnt give lore, seems like the version on playstore and PC is different.

Guys, is this stil available?
Upon picking Jord's blessing, carpentry mastery isnt better than gear upgrade which you're gonna get eventually anyway but don't need immediately?
Why not, I planned to make the raids as devistating as possible, but carpentry could certainly ease up the trasition into an actual land army eco.

Why my raven's lore tree is different? I'm on mobile and i see a lot of differences.
yeah the mobile version is a snapshot of the game 1-2 years ago and isn't on the same update then the live version on pc.
Does this build still work? Also, jiggling aggro with one soldier is so hard, is there any tips? Is that still doable?
How do you open your harbor menu when looking at your enemy tiles
you can put it in a control group by pressing crtl+[Number] then you pick the group by pressing the chosen number
This game has a super consistent player base of 3-6k every day but I see almost no content being made on it...
yeah its doing pretty well :P and im pretty happy theres still content comming 5 years after release tbh :P
Why did you build a forge and destroy it instantly after improving your militia ?
full focus on keeping the raids flowing, if you wanna go more lategame I'd keep it up ofc.

@@CrazyDentist i very much appreciate it! the only thing I knew for certain was about scouting your teammates area, so this really helps!
Also the tile with the win condition will get you 50 fame, like the giant tree, or the portal. Pretty good to get that for an early 200 fame bonus
