@@primitivestudio1 Canterbury NZ had a couple of serious earthquakes in 2011, and 2016. Some damage was done to the roads. So there are still orange road cones everywhere. Same in the cities. You can't drive far without seeing Road UP signs.
Awesome video, as always. We lived in Republic before I retired, and my job as an outside sales rep afforded me the privilege of driving all around, and enjoy the sheer beauty of the Ozarks. Your videos let me see a lot of my old customers. In my opinion the Finley river Park is the most beautiful place in the Ozarks. You were correct, by the way, about James River Assembly having started at what's now the Evangelical Free Church. My eldest grandson had said he probably wasn't going to move back to Republic after graduating law school at UMKC, (he has since changed his mind) and the rest of the family had all moved to just outside Indianapolis, so not wanting to be alone, my wife and I moved to be near them. Indiana is okay, but it ain't the Ozarks.
Hey Matthew! Thank you for your kind words. Honestly, this area is SO beautiful. I'm glad they have been able to help you remember living in this area. Ozark to us is a true gem!!! It is funny how when we are young we never want to go back to our home town and change our minds! Having a small town really isn't too bad. 😂
@@wiserlivingrealty Well. since my home town is NYC, and I escaped when I was 17 by enlisting in the Navy, and haven't been back since November 1968, and then only because my grandmother was sick, and I want to see her before she died (my visit was evidently therapeutic, as she lived for several more years), lived in Chula Vista & San Diego for the next 32 years till we moved to Republic...wait. This sentence got so run-on, I forgot where I was going with it. Oh yeah; I remember now. I miss San Diego & Chula Vista, but not nearly as much as I miss Republic. Btw, one of the owners of the Purple Burrito on Campbell just north of sunshine, is from Chula Vista, so if you ever want REAL Mexican food, they and Pancho's just south about a block from Bass Pro, are the places to go. I'm addicted to the fish tacos & carne asada burritos. In any event, your videos really make me homesick for Republic. Currently, I'm stuck in Noblesville, Indiana, but my heart is firmly planted in the Ozarks (or as I used to sign my emails in the winter, Matt of the Frozarks).
I went to lamberts twice. The food is expensive and the floors are dirty filthy covered in food. Its not worth the hype. I have lived and still live in the Ozarks since 2008.
moved to Ozark from New York State in 2006 no regrets nice place!
Glad to hear!!! We’re trying to interview the mayor soon!
Its cool seing a highway with no road cones! Not like Canterbury, NZ. The landscape is uite similar though. Keep the videos coming.
Wait no road cones. What's wrong

Yes, no road cones! That's too bad that they still have them up from those earthquakes. It's nice to see the road!
Yes, indeed. Reason number 958 to love Missouri.
Thanks for sharing. It's nice to show folks communities around Springfield. It's interesting to see how Ozark has changed over year's too
We've heard that from quite a few people. There will be more to come!
I love to see the difference between Ozark and Springfield traffic.
Depends on where you are at as well! Haha 😂
I'm always going into the antique shops and flea markets around Ozark.
Love the drive thru videos, thanks guys!!
Hey thank you so much! 😍

If your going to go Lambert's make sure to be there before 10:30am!!
Or else you will be waiting HOURS. ⏱
Fremont hills is part of the ozark school district. I know. I lived in Fremont hills for years. It’s on a golf course.
Yes, it's pretty close there.
How did you like it?!
I love that the poor girl in the back seat riding middle looks so miserable, lol.
It was probably the AC on her knees 😂
Good auto road against the background of Rolla
Rolla is about 2 hours from Ozark!
Right next to Lambert's you can go to a cheese shop and also try out their wines and other alcoholic beverages.
I've not been to it, I didn't know it was a cheese shop!

That's too bad! I've only had good experiences there. It's definitely not an every-day thing 😂
