What's the point in trying them in anything other than "Dynamic/Track" mode with the TC and ESC on? My Audi barely moves with these "aids" cutting the power all the time. M2 is probably quicker anyway but come on give the RS the respect of learning how to launch and drive before doing drag races. Poor.
I've had both vehicles, currently still have both. The M2 cannot compete with the RS3 launch and it can't catch up until after the 1/4 with equal drivers. M2 is a much more fun car to drive though
Its stock performance... it might of had a few options add to from new but they are cosmetic only, just like when you by any new car you tick what optional extra you won't .... performance is straight out of the box. Its no surprise that the audi got smoked. Chris Harris raced an rs3 in a 135m and passed it around 140ish.
@@onepunch9 that's erroneous. The car has lightweight wheels, aftermarket (stickier) tires, mid-pipe delete, various suspension bits, various carbon fiber bits, racing seats, and rear seats deleted. Just because the engine was SUPPOSEDLY (who does a cat delete and skips the tune?) stock doesn't mean the car is. Compared to a truly stock M2 it weighs at least 100lbs less, has at least 20 more hp from the exhaust mods, and has a much better suspension/tire&wheel setup to put the power down. No such thing in my mind as a car being "stock, except for..."

I cant see anywhere in the video where it says the rear seats and cat have been removed. The only thing in this race that would benefit the bmw is the cat being removed. Factory fitted options aren't classed as changes to manufacturers standard specifications. A change to the manufacturers standard specifications is a change made after it leaves the factory.
If it was tuned, it would’ve struggled for even more traction than it already does because the more power, the more a FWD or RWD car struggles for traction. The BMW is just a faster car.

I didn't finish watching the video yet but in the 2nd race I observed the bmw in 2nd gear and not needing to downshift while the audi did have 2 downshift from 3rd to 2nd? Am I wrong? I'm not sure why the bmw was hanging out in 2nd gear at that speed. Seems he is manually shifting or was in sport mode.

I beat Maximas all day long with my 255 hp Stinger. The 300 horses of the Maxima are naturally aspirated, while the 290 horses are turbocharged in the K5, which will make a huge difference. The 2.0L Stinger has 260 lb-ft of torque at a very low RPM, while the Maxima has 261 in the high RPM range. And the K5 GT has 311 lb-ft of torque which is way more compared to the Maxima.
@@sharktin240 Gli makes closer 260hp at the crank, and I would easily walk those when I used to have my Mk7 gti that was rated at “210hp” according to vw. The maxima doesn’t have a chance.
That BMW may have some power upgrades. Stock these cars have been shown to have the same numbers 3.7 vs 4.0 0-60 and quarter miles 12 to 12.2. Those races weren't even close. BMW had 40hp over stock or more 🤔
Something totally off about this match up. I do expect the M2comp to have abit more stretch but not gaps like that. Come on dude learn to atleast drive whatever car you're choosing properly cause from a RS3 owner myself, I whipped many a M2comp or least sat rear fender to one. I can assure you the m2c is not tuned. What the m2c does have is a midpipe which deletes the secondary cats. It also has season fresh Hankook rs4 and ohlin coilovers. It also has a carbon hood and a rear seat delete as well as lightweight forged volks. The car is lighter than a stock m2c, has more traction than a stock m2c due to tires, and is more planted due to coilovers. Edit: and the owner is very handsome and a driving god. (He may or may not have told me to include that part)

Rs3 has a delay and it’s not a surprise if you’ve driven both of these cars, it’s also clear the RS3 could’ve launched harder after driven one before. Either way, the Bmw makes much more power than Bmw claims it does and it shows, but there’s more to it
Rs3 will win ofcourse not even in the same category. This video was absolutely horrible... rs3 eats the m2/m3 comp 10 times out of 10 and should be slightly faster in the roll when put in the right gear and set up ....
Very odd race here. Was this a quarter mile? Both run around a ~12.2 stock, usually the RS3 is slightly quicker at 12.0 - 12.1 given its quicker 0-60 time. So seeing the M2 Comp pull multiple cars before the end of the race was very strange. The M2 would need a half mile to do that kind of gap stock. So either that M2 has a tune, or that RS3 isn't running 93 octane fuel/heat soaked, and it's pulling timing on the top end.
I’d say these results are accurate, buddy of mine has a M2 comp and we came across a RS3 and he smoked it. Except from a dig, but the M2 did reel it back in pretty quick after the dig.
If you stop the video at the 12 second mark you will also see that the BMW is not even running the OEM tires. You can see the pattern of the tires different to the OEM. Make the screen big and you will see what I mean. I google it and these are not the same tire pattern.
The M2 is heavily modified. The ppl that posted the video are on Jay's (the cars owner) Instagram, so they KNEW the car wasn't stock and chose to lie about it. Anyway, the owners IG is @jays_m2comp. Check it out yourself.
@@b.c.b.-2130 I totally believe it. The video is a total failure in all measures. The host doesn't know how to operate the Audi RS3, on the other hand the M2 is modified. Not only the video is not credible but now the host loss a lot of credibility. Last week it happened again by brining a modified RS6 on there race. I started to dislikes these compares a while back, there is not even a dragy involved, no measuring equipment whatsoever. It is a way to stir $hit. Any one that knows a little bit about cars knows that the RS3 is much quicker on the acceleration although I have been saying that my money is on the M2 from a roll.

Idk. The m4cs pulls about as hard in the other video and that traps 5mph faster than a m2CP. Seems tuned, boost reduction 1/2 and tires/suspension make it put its power down.
Disclaimer: I own a RS3 but respect the M2's This boys and girls is not a race between M2 and RS3 but a driver who's confident and familiar with a car and another driver who sat in the seat of the other for the first time. What they should do is swap drivers next time or hire professionals for both cars. I've seen RS3's an M2's beat each other all over UA-cam but NEVER with a gap like this 🤣😂
The first dig race really exploits the turbo lag and displacement disadvantage of the RS3. This is more realistic of daily driving. No one uses launch control at every stop light lol.
I don’t know why people don’t discuss this more. I think I’ve only seen two UA-cam videos where people address the lag. The 0-60 times can be very misleading. I live the car otherwise.

@@PapiAndrey Not sure who your response was targeting, but I own a tuned B8.5 and ave driven an RS3, so I’m very familiar with stock and advanced launch control in Audis. The instant torque off idle from the supercharger V6 is a primary reason why I haven’t moved into a RS3. Not to mention the lack of true “Quattro” with the transverse engine and lack of luxury features in my opinion. Still a great car, but has shortcomings that people tend to ignore based on just 400hp figure.

There is something wrong here. I couldn't decide between the M2c or RS3 so I bought both. The M2c will kill the RS3 on the track, but drag and from a dig? there is something wrong here. I know the turbo lag on the RS3 is worse when at speed compared to an M2c but this, this ain't right.
The audi rs3 got an 100-200kmh time om 9.2 while the m2comp got an time of 10.64. The m2cs is faster on a roll then the rs3, think the m2cs got an time of 8.92 these are verifies times done by a box. With that drivetrain loss and much less tork and hp for the audi. That m2cs winns in a roll. Dont think it winns a 1/4quarter mile tho. Thats why the rs5 is slower then rs3. Its heavier and dosent have so much more power figures then the rs3
The only reason the BMW won the 2nd Roll Race by so much is because the RS3 had to kick down while the BMW was holding gear. That doesn't make sense. Both of you should be in the same gear. Though the BMW is quicker, that particular race was unfair to the Audi.
You can’t launch audi in comfort mode, need to put it in dynamic then launch control will activate. You can’t just brake boost it bc it’s a dct transmission. Would help a lot if actual cars owners drove it that know their cars.
I’m a BMW fanboy and have a 2019 M4 Competition Package which is completely stock! I can’t see how the M2C is stock (is no tune) - even with the upgraded suspension, lightweight wheels, quality tyres, exhaust, and rear seat delete - the M2C will not pull like that! Nope!
Normal mode, run 1, different angle literally shows the audi literally walking from a dig. That bimmer was most definitely tuned. Not a fair race at all. These rs3s are running low 9s tuned. Some have even broken into the 8s

What wheels are on the m2?
I didn't finish watching the video yet but in the 2nd race I observed the bmw in 2nd gear and not needing to downshift while the audi did have 2 downshift from 3rd to 2nd? Am I wrong? I'm not sure why the bmw was hanging out in 2nd gear at that speed. Seems he is manually shifting or was in sport mode.

Nice races. Little surprised, because on paper they both have almost identical times. Should have been a bit closer. but that's real world out there and why we watch these fun and cool videos. oh, Stinger doesn't like the brake boost either. it tries to protect the car and bog down a bit... did you guys use launch control ? But the M2 Comp, just boogied after it got going.... which is what I expected.. its recorded 1/4 mile times, though are about the same with RS3, M2 Comp has a higher mph clock speed

Facts was in my cousins S3 and we ripped in launch mode and this is first time I see a M2C beat a RS3 …. RS3 0-60 is 3.5-3.7 seconds in a good launch with good tires and not hot day so this dude just didn’t launch it right and ya bro wtf dude should’ve been in dynamic mode whole time

😂 the maxima wouldn’t have a chance. Just because both have similar quotes hp or even a similar power to weight ratio from the factory does not equate to a close race in the real world.

The K5 GT would put bus lengths without a question and I would bet money on it.
I beat Maximas all day long with my 255 hp Stinger. The 300 horses of the Maxima are naturally aspirated, while the 290 horses are turbocharged in the K5, which will make a huge difference. The 2.0L Stinger has 260 lb-ft of torque at a very low RPM, while the Maxima has 261 in the high RPM range. And the K5 GT has 311 lb-ft of torque which is way more compared to the Maxima.

@@sharktin240 Gli makes closer 260hp at the crank, and I would easily walk those when I used to have my Mk7 gti that was rated at “210hp” according to vw. The maxima doesn’t have a chance.

That BMW may have some power upgrades. Stock these cars have been shown to have the same numbers 3.7 vs 4.0 0-60 and quarter miles 12 to 12.2. Those races weren't even close. BMW had 40hp over stock or more 🤔
Something totally off about this match up. I do expect the M2comp to have abit more stretch but not gaps like that. Come on dude learn to atleast drive whatever car you're choosing properly cause from a RS3 owner myself, I whipped many a M2comp or least sat rear fender to one. Cool content but not proper results in my eyes

@@perezbalkissoon3196 carwow raced a m2comp and rs3. It was very wet so the rs3 destroyed the m2 in a drag race but when they done rolling races the m2 destroyed the rs3 exactly the same way this m2 did.

I can assure you the m2c is not tuned. What the m2c does have is a midpipe which deletes the secondary cats. It also has season fresh Hankook rs4 and ohlin coilovers. It also has a carbon hood and a rear seat delete as well as lightweight forged volks. The car is lighter than a stock m2c, has more traction than a stock m2c due to tires, and is more planted due to coilovers.
Edit: and the owner is very handsome and a driving god. (He may or may not have told me to include that part)

Suspension and tyres in little short drag races would make little or no difference maybe knock 10th off your time but not 40 or 50yrd quicker..... but on the video it said it was stock if what your saying is true then this channel is full of shit

Rs3 has a delay and it’s not a surprise if you’ve driven both of these cars, it’s also clear the RS3 could’ve launched harder after driven one before.
Either way, the Bmw makes much more power than Bmw claims it does and it shows, but there’s more to it

Rs3 will win ofcourse not even in the same category. This video was absolutely horrible... rs3 eats the m2/m3 comp 10 times out of 10 and should be slightly faster in the roll when put in the right gear and set up ....

Very odd race here. Was this a quarter mile? Both run around a ~12.2 stock, usually the RS3 is slightly quicker at 12.0 - 12.1 given its quicker 0-60 time. So seeing the M2 Comp pull multiple cars before the end of the race was very strange. The M2 would need a half mile to do that kind of gap stock. So either that M2 has a tune, or that RS3 isn't running 93 octane fuel/heat soaked, and it's pulling timing on the top end.
I’d say these results are accurate, buddy of mine has a M2 comp and we came across a RS3 and he smoked it. Except from a dig, but the M2 did reel it back in pretty quick after the dig.
I love both vehicles, I'm very partial to the Audi because their wagon is my bucket list car

I think the M2 has upgraded fatter tires. They are notorious for spinning on launch n it just gripped and went.
If you stop the video at the 12 second mark you will also see that the BMW is not even running the OEM tires. You can see the pattern of the tires different to the OEM. Make the screen big and you will see what I mean. I google it and these are not the same tire pattern.

The M2 is heavily modified. The ppl that posted the video are on Jay's (the cars owner) Instagram, so they KNEW the car wasn't stock and chose to lie about it. Anyway, the owners IG is @jays_m2comp. Check it out yourself.
@@b.c.b.-2130 I totally believe it. The video is a total failure in all measures. The host doesn't know how to operate the Audi RS3, on the other hand the M2 is modified. Not only the video is not credible but now the host loss a lot of credibility. Last week it happened again by brining a modified RS6 on there race. I started to dislikes these compares a while back, there is not even a dragy involved, no measuring equipment whatsoever. It is a way to stir $hit. Any one that knows a little bit about cars knows that the RS3 is much quicker on the acceleration although I have been saying that my money is on the M2 from a roll.

Brake boost works well on any torque converter auto gearbox (tct), but doesn't work for all dual clutch gearbox (dct).
We all know BMW make 30-50hp more then what they say but I mean rs3 should have beat it off the line everytime no?
Keep in mind the M2 comp is 10k or more expensive too! Not many 800-1300hp M2comps out there but plenty of RS3s in that hp range.

Idk. The m4cs pulls about as hard in the other video and that traps 5mph faster than a m2CP. Seems tuned, boost reduction 1/2 and tires/suspension make it put its power down.

This boys and girls is not a race between M2 and RS3 but a driver who's confident and familiar with a car and another driver who sat in the seat of the other for the first time. What they should do is swap drivers next time or hire professionals for both cars. I've seen RS3's an M2's beat each other all over UA-cam but NEVER with a gap like this 🤣😂

The first dig race really exploits the turbo lag and displacement disadvantage of the RS3. This is more realistic of daily driving. No one uses launch control at every stop light lol.

I don’t know why people don’t discuss this more. I think I’ve only seen two UA-cam videos where people address the lag. The 0-60 times can be very misleading. I live the car otherwise.

@@PapiAndrey Not sure who your response was targeting, but I own a tuned B8.5 and ave driven an RS3, so I’m very familiar with stock and advanced launch control in Audis. The instant torque off idle from the supercharger V6 is a primary reason why I haven’t moved into a RS3. Not to mention the lack of true “Quattro” with the transverse engine and lack of luxury features in my opinion. Still a great car, but has shortcomings that people tend to ignore based on just 400hp figure.

I wish they offered the M2 competition in xdrive, but the rear wheel drive is so much fun, and handles like a dream. The M2 Comp is my favorite M car so it was an easy choice for me.

There is something wrong here. I couldn't decide between the M2c or RS3 so I bought both. The M2c will kill the RS3 on the track, but drag and from a dig? there is something wrong here. I know the turbo lag on the RS3 is worse when at speed compared to an M2c but this, this ain't right.
The audi rs3 got an 100-200kmh time om 9.2 while the m2comp got an time of 10.64. The m2cs is faster on a roll then the rs3, think the m2cs got an time of 8.92 these are verifies times done by a box. With that drivetrain loss and much less tork and hp for the audi. That m2cs winns in a roll. Dont think it winns a 1/4quarter mile tho. Thats why the rs5 is slower then rs3. Its heavier and dosent have so much more power figures then the rs3

The only reason the BMW won the 2nd Roll Race by so much is because the RS3 had to kick down while the BMW was holding gear. That doesn't make sense. Both of you should be in the same gear. Though the BMW is quicker, that particular race was unfair to the Audi.
You can’t launch audi in comfort mode, need to put it in dynamic then launch control will activate. You can’t just brake boost it bc it’s a dct transmission. Would help a lot if actual cars owners drove it that know their cars.

Normal mode, run 1, different angle literally shows the audi literally walking from a dig. That bimmer was most definitely tuned. Not a fair race at all. These rs3s are running low 9s tuned. Some have even broken into the 8s
