  • Hi!
Time for the very overdue rescape/refresh of one of the 40g breeders in the fishroom! I was so excited to plant it up with my collection of crypts! Hope you enjoy!

    Thanks for the video!
I definitely like it more when you don’t play music while you are talking. I prefer to hear your voice without the confusion of music behind it. Your channel has been an inspiration and entertaining since I started aqua-scaping. I hope those beautiful plants take root and grow so well.

I really love this rescape and I agreed when you ended up deciding to move the crypts over to open it up in the middle there. Created another awesome scape.

Wow. You were right on time with this video. I was just thinking about moving everything to a bigger tank but was not looking forward to moving the crypts. Now I know just what to do! ❤

Beautiful! I think the thing I appreciate the most about your re scapes, is that it is more accurate to the common aquascaper than a 'perfect' tank that is not an accurate portrayal of everyday life!

Thank you so much. I think it’s more attainable too. Plus every scape has a mind if it’s own after a few days too… ☺️

Always work in the fish room. I like your hands on approach. Just get in their and do it. An easy to understand tutorial on reshaping the tank with the plants.

Great looking tank Joanna. Hey I had trouble hearing you over the music. It was louder than you in some places. But the tank looks fantastic.

Well, they will be once they acclimate and fill back in. If you’d have seen them in my 29g you’d be as 😱😩 as me.

Nice job. As you were pulling plants out I am secretly wishing you would send them my way. I recently lost my 3 crypts and some of my sword type plants in my 29 gallon tank. They all just melted away after growing well for a year or more. Should I just let the roots stay where they are or dig them up and replace in the future? I sure wish I knew what happened.

I think you need a root rake to comb out those tangled roots. I wonder if you can develop a radial root base? Just a thought.

I have a full variety - wait until you see them all settled in! 😱 They will be stunning! Mainly in this tank are wendtii, affinis and undulata
