My first tank was metal-framed with a slate bottom...way back when.
I love coming across little inventions that make you say " Finally, someone thought of that." That was my experience with her lifewithpets substrate caves.
I love old fishkeeping stuff! I have old magazines (cool to read how the hobby has evolved!) Coolest things I have are a spoon rest and a 1950s deep sea diver in its original box! Happy Turkey day!!
I like the shrimp viewers. It's adorable.
Super cool! Now that is a nice corner tunnel.
Nifty find for the shrimp. Someone came out with a great idea in this design.
Love the shrimp tunnels!
Thank you so much for showing these!
The vintage theme will look nice in your home. I can't wait to see you scape it & see which fish you choose. 🙋🏻♀️🇦🇺
I’m so glad you shared this video. I have a small collection of tins, but not fish food! I love that tank as well. I’m 61 and just got back into the hobby 3 years ago. I wish I had saved things from my childhood tank. They would be vintage by now.
Fun video! We have some fun vintage kitchen items that are displayed on the tops of our kitchen cupboards. For instance, we have an old bottle of pepsi - still sealed & containing cola.
I collect old aquarium stuff as well and have top rack in my fish room devoted to them, as it's too high to maintain aquariums there anyway!
like that Corner tunnel i wonder if I could get my Apistogramma to bred in there.
Can't wait to see your new studio adventure!
Cool stuff! That little tin was especially a neat find. Never really think about looking for stuff like that, now I'm going to. Very cool.
My very first fish tank was a 10 gallon metal frame back in the late 70's . I wish I had pictures of it.
I got those from Sheila, too! They're awesome! Highly recommended 🙂 love that antique aquarium 🥰 Great find!
Reminds me of the vintage aquariums of the metal frame tanks pre 70's they had a slate bottom and the glass was held in by a putty glaze for aquariums. I remembered with the screw type lamps to light light bar, everytime you touched the aquarium you would get a mild shock when it was on.
Yep, I've not seen any of those before. Thanks for sharing.
That 10 tall is really different, I liked it. I loved the vintage fish food. Thought it was really cute.
