The music industry is a funny world. I have a long history of loving bands that never quite get the recognition they deserve. James, Placebo, Editors… they’ve never become the stadium fillers they deserve to be, usurped by inferior bands. Same was true of Talk Talk back in the day and even The Cure to a certain extent. They were big but should have been bigger! It doesn’t matter, those that know, know. The Cure are still doing phenomenal live performances 40 years later. I was lucky enough to see them twice last year. Never seen James live but would love to!
Went to Glasgow armadillo to see James and orchestra and I can honestly say its the most special performance I have ever seen, I say James are the best band worldwide 🎉
Este disco lo escuché mucho cuando estuve 🤰esperando a mi hija ! En todo el embarazo ! James y Cocteau Twins fueron las bandas que me acompañaron! 🎼❣️✨
James just hit the mark don't they ,As you can smile n laugh etc to the likes of Laid, feel sad to Hey Ma etc etc and sing ye head off to likes of WATERFALL etc TOP,TOP,TOP BANDxx
James.. C'est un peu comme quand t'as un peu de bouteille et que t'as trouvé ton single malt préféré à l'embouteillage indépendant ... Tu retrouves toujours le chemin de la distillerie 😎
"Yeah, that's what I said. There's me putting my bag up in the cupboard next thing ya know, I feel hands on me. Someone's touched me, touched my front...my front bottom. I can't believe it, l've gone all cold. I look around, he standing there isn't he? That steward with the guilty look on his face. I was shocked, I didn't know what to say. I had to sit down, I was that perturbed."
Who's the pink haired girl on the drums behind Tim? BTW, I've always loved this song, since I first heard it back in 91/92' in 29 Palms(MCAGCC) after fighting in Gulf War-I and right before heading to Somalia to fight some more...90-94(B-1/7 & F-2/7 Wpns Plt)
Sound tech needs sacking, can barely hear him in parts and it’s definitely not because of his voice. Usually the vocals are the strong point of this band. Luckily they’re great so they deal with it, but you can see him constantly turning the dial on his hip to try to fade the drums back a touch, he clearly can’t hear anything other than percussion.
if there was any justice in the world, James would be world-beaters. maybe they prefer it that way. who knows. top class.
I think they do , there’s an intimacy about their music and fame that they have a cult following as opposed to be being mainstream
Its annoys how little recognition this band gets compared to their contemporaries like U2 and Simple minds from late 80's/90's, this band are awesome
The r the best ❤

If he ever reads this message. Thank you from my bottom of my heart. Ur lyrics and music saved me lots of times.
"I don't need a shrink, but an exorcist." Killer line.
I also love “who put brown owl eyes on butterfly wings? All this frustration. Who gave the leopard spot and taught the birds to sing?”
My life
Seven is an all time classic album. Compares favourably with anything else you could wish to promote, superb work from a superb band.
I was in that crowd and it was an amazing performance, best of the whole festival weekend. Would love to see them again
I remember being exposed to Booth & Bad Angel. James is so underrated. I miss how the nineties evoked timeless melodies.

Always been one of my favourites, especially when hearing Tim explain it on Simon Mayo’s radio 1 breakfast show on its release. Brilliant

A frustação Cidade Grande e assim voce espera tempo bom e só vem tempo ruim.
Who is the percussionist?

The pink haired girl on the drums is cool as fuck…….!!
Debbie Knox Hewson 👌
Publico muy frio o con poco conocimiento musical , este es un tema histórico.

Shit, I didn't know.
Looks like Ming the Merciless.
That snare sounds like a tin of quality streets. Great performance though
Toffee penny for me, please!
