A kind woman came over to us and said ' i have two tickets to see james and i cant go, would you like them. But only if you use them yourselves.' Amazing kindness and we had an amazing night watching them. It also started us off going and seeing them live. We were so shocked we didnt thank her as much as we should of. Perhaps slightly suspicious of random kindness but I have done random things like this since. It all started with james and that amazingly kind person. Whoever you are. Thank you.

Utter Magnificence through the years. Yes, indeed, HUGE in England, mainly, I understand. I have regret, nearly remorse to have not seen James live. A real opportunity back in 2008, as the band came to Boston, MA late that year; but I was unaware at the time, as I lost my home due to the real estate/mortgage/bank fails that year; life and family devastated. The Great Recession. Yet I had listened to James for years before and years afterward, to present. The band's words and music got me through a lot. What artistry throughout! So many words to describe it all. Astounding!
I discovered James in 1990 with the album Gold Mother. I was 22 years old. 31 years later, James is still one of my favorite bands. I only regret that I never had the chance to see them live. I really hope that one day. Anyway, thank you so much for all your great songs! They make me feel so good!

So I just "discovered" James last year. Grew up with Depeche Mode, U2, Radiohead. Completely missed James. Not sure how. I have now spent a full year going through their albums. Feel a bit of sadness that I missed them when my whole life was concerts and days of "listening and analysis" music in my room. At the same time, the feeling of discovering such a great band later in life, each song blowing me away, it is an amazing and rare feeling. All in all. James has been added to my love forever bands.
I discovered this band recently, after reading a list of iconic music from movies. There was Laid on it, which was part of my childhood, but really never knew it About James. I'm addicted with their sound now.
