I really feel like my character had quite an arc over the course of this game. I started out very low honor. I was a cowboy and a notorious member of a gang, I dressed sharply, and bought expensive things. I did whatever it took to get money, I robbed good people, and didn't think twice about snuffing out witnesses, or sending a message, but I was always loyal to the gang and I did at least give them their share, that said anytime there was a choice to be made revolving around money... I always made the wrong one. Near the end of the game when it gets revealed that I have an uncurbable disease, and after the fiasco in San Denis and watching the gang slowly fall apart after that, I really started to let myself go as I reflected on my actions. I grew out my beard long and unkept, my attire choice looked rugged, and I stopped killing people. I even started looking to help people on occasion when I saw them in need which was something I would just blow past before. And at the end of the game when I was presented with a choice of going back for the money or helping someone important to me, that choice felt really hard, but it felt even more powerful when my character overcame his past behavior and decided I wasn't going to abandon my friend. Yea I got the low honor version but that hit just as hard to be honest. Because my character was not a good man, not one bit and yea I tried my best to atone for all I had done near the end... but it just wasn't enough. That shit was tragic but damn if it wasn't a compelling story. It also made the revenge against Micha feel even better knowing that he personally killed Arthur in my game.
I think that the thing about the low honor way to play the game is that you are accepting your own nature and are decided to go down with it. In the low honor gameplay Arthur is not kidding himself by thinking he has a chance at redemption just because he's doing some good deed here and there. For this reason, his last good deeds ring more true.
@@suleymanbabak1973 Oh yea, that all was definitely at play in my playthrough. High honor is more of a realistic ending for Arthur because Micah always wanted to be better than Arthur and he was waiting for Arthur to get more sicker and when he did Micah picked him off.
