In the end, Jack is the only member of the Dutch Van Der Linde gang left alive, or rather, the one who had to put an end to it all. In the original Deadman's Gun, you can feel a feeling of "there is a light at the end, everything will be fine", but this slower version, generates a feeling of "I finally finish, I hope it is enough", it inevitably makes me think about Jack, as if he wishes this was the last time he kills, so that he and the spirits of his loved ones can finally rest. This song, personally, is very powerful for me for many reasons and I really loved this version. Excellent video!

This story of Arthur and John is clear masterpiece
Jack too. They each play a role in wanting better for the people in their lives, yet perpetuate the cycle.
