Have you read the rest of the Manga yet? Getter Robo Go is Ken Ishikawa's mecha masterpiece. It turned Getter into something I thought was cool into what I consider the greatest super robot epic in all of manga.

new getter robo isn't an adaptation of the first manga either so way to get it wrong the first time then get it wrong in your attempt to correct it :^)
KingoftheGundam79 New Getter is a mix of various Ishikawa manga, not just Getter. It's technically a 'new' story but it has content lifted from the guy's entire career. That's all there is to it.
No conflicting information here. Ken Ishikawa made various mangas over his career, so New Getter and Getter Robo Armageddon take a bit from everything. If you watched Giant Robo, it's the same concept, except instead of referencing the works of Mitsuteru Yokoyama, the works of Ken Ishikawa are being referenced. Just look for Majuu Sensen OVA on UA-cam and you'll get what he was talking about. It has many visual similarities to Getter Robo Armageddon.
+george bobicles I wanted to keep them a surprise for people who haven't seen Getter Robo Armageddon. Plus they were kinda boring antagonists to me anyway.

They didn't really do anything throughout the OVA, except for supposedly infecting Michiru, blowing up the nuke that killed 99% of the entire human race and infecting Prof. Saotome. Not only that, but in my opinion, they were weak as characters, they had almoast no personality at all. So yeah, leaving them out of your review wasn't a bad choice. Anyways, great review, keep up the good work.

I have play super robot wars D and Z2 and I think using the story of getter robo Armageddon as the main cause of the both games is amazing.

Dr. Saotome isn't the only villain in this. I don't think Cowen and Stinger deserved to have no mention in this
