Hi guys. I don't remember if you mentioned another pro to living in Paraguay, but no matter how great island countries are, there is the issue of Island Fever besides concern for hurricanes which not all Caribbean islands face. Island Fever however is a reality not unlike altitude sickness. Some people say they begin feeling claustrophobic on small islands!

Right! A couple of the reasons we wouldn't ever live on an island, no way! But visit?? Yep! All day! Lol! Anyways, Panama was just great!😁

@@paradiseinparaguay7714 I look forward to future videos comparing the choice of Paraguay to very popular other stable places in Central America such as Panama and Costa Rica and the Caribbean (such as the Dominican Republic), and even Mexico. One issue of Mexico ignored by expats there is that notwithstanding all the excuses, the cartels are not mere annoyances. They are powerful economic and military states within a state which the government and its army are totally powerless to destroy . So for those who feel they cannot remain in US and Canada because of political corruption, going to Mexico simply means leaving the frying pan into the fire.

Can you compare some pricing differences between Panama and Paraguay? I've been to Panama several times and its on my Retirement list with 7 other countries.

No we cannot, we haven't studied anything about Panama like that and haven't claimed to do so. We were simply on vacation, as what's depicted in the video.
But in general, everything in Panama is quite expensive, like the U.S., but I'm sure that's not news to you since you said you've been to Panama several times.

At least Paraguay has no hurricanes, no earthquakes, no tsunamis, no cartels, no crazy control freak government policies, no bad crime, no heavy air pollution, no wars. It's only real Con is being totally landlocked. 👍👍

Panama is great, but it doesn't have the advantages of Paraguay....really hot and humid in Panama. Problems of a tough government and problems of garbage accumulation and pollution. 😞

You're soooo right!! I kept sweating every 5 seconds, lol! Plus, its super expensive there, similar to the U.S.! We wouldn't ever want to live there, but it was a nice vacation spot!! 🏖️ 🌴 👍
