I have some good advice that will save you trouble later. You will notice that nothing accumulates on the condenser. No dust, leaves, bugs, nothing. Because it is blowing out from the inside. On the surface you think "why is that a problem?" Because all the dust, leaves, bugs, etc is being sucked into those wide louvers on the sides and top. We have cottonwood trees, and one season completely covered the inside of the coils. I had to take two new window units apart, and modify the fan shroud(*cut a big hole) just to get to the crud to remove it. Then I put window screen mesh over the large louvers. It likely wont stop all of the build up, but it does stop all the cottonwood and leaves.

These diamonds often have lighter centers, giving the snake a distinct appearance. Rattles: As with other rattlesnakes, the Western Diamondback has a rattle on the end of its tail. Grew up in Phoenix and life out there was going from home ac to car ac to business ac to movie ac. Lakes and rivers were swimming events. Pools would get so hot they had coolers spraying day and night. The spray misters maybe something you may look into for your movie theater. Squirt guns were VERY popular out there too. Bigger is better when the water wars started. 👍😁😂
I have a similar RV and insulation is just terrible, I increased it by 3/4” inch and it does help (makes it quieter too) the windows are another issue and I will be working on that soon. My plan is to be able to run at 8000-10,000 btu and cool the whole area which i can do if I have reflective stuff on the windows, that is also why i am changing/modifying the windows. The goal here is to be self sufficient with solar ( am in Florida).
You could look to add gutters to your sheds and then capture the rain water into your tanks. Would suggest you get a 2nd tank if you can and if it's bigger then sweet happy days
Yes we had the occasional high temp years ago but now it's over 110 every day. Day in and day out, and the OVER NIGHT temps never go below 90! It's Hellish. I lived here 25 years, and this is the worst it's ever been.
Thanks for the tip on the ac. I hope things get back to normal soon for you. I have one ac unit out at the moment. It’s always something in the RV but it still gives us freedom and beautiful views
In Texas rattlesnakes have begun to evolve with no rattles. When a feral hog hears the rattle that means the dinner bell. A lot of people here who have been bit, the snakes didn't have rattles. Get Tig a rattlesnake vaccine. How warm was it in the RV with that AC running?
I found myself in the same situation.. no a/c ... in my small home (600 sq ft)... Window unit an blocked the unused areas with plastic I bought at Home Depot .. a roll from the paint section .. about $10.00. It was easier to secure over the door.. and I could see thru to the other room .. and as I doubled it across itself in the middle I could pass thru easily when I needed to get into the blocked section and my cat an dog could "see" they could go back and forth as they needed as well. Like the plastic much better than the blankets..
Hey Eric, we came back to the PNW. It’s only 88’ here. It hasn’t been real hot here this year. We may get hot weather soon, but we can always go to the coast the get relief from the heat. Sometimes it’s nice to leave the heat and find cool air
Closer shots of the eye would help, and a good shot of the tail as well, but that looks to be a gopher snake. We have them around, and if it is a gopher snake they are harmless and good to have around.
Gopher and bull snakes have same pattern at diamondback and Mojave rattlesnakes. The real determiner is shape of head. Triangular head for rattlers. Bull and gopher snakes are good to have around to reduce rodent population.
@@nomadicfanatic I guess you need the solar panels. But it would keep it from getting hot. And it save your roof . RV cover 14 ft tall over the RV motorhome park underneath it

The poisonous snakes usually have a square block looking head and they have the evil slit eye. That little fellow has beady round eyes and no pitbull looking head, so very likely not poisonous. I'd keep him around to keep the rat population down.
It's a Gopher Snake. Bull Snakes are a subspecies of gopher snake, but have never been found in Arizona. There are two species of Gopher Snakes in Arizona - the Great Basin Gophersnake, Pituophis catenifer deserticola, and Sonoran Gophersnake, Pituophis catenifer affinis.
There is one thing you need.... You need to get power to the property. If you can... If not you might need to come up with a better Solar system. I know this is your first year. You got this. Time to have a Garage put on property to park your rig in and then live in that during the summer or winter when you are at your property. It will keep the mice away and give a safer area for your pets too. You got this! Love these videos.

Eric, if, that is if, you could find an Mitsibichie mini split installer to install one in an RV, you could get to seer 34, also with heat. That would probably double the efficiency of that current AC unit. Then cool the entire rig… topping out at about 40,000 BTU’s for the same energy, turn that place into an ice box. All the best. That is a multi speed compressor/ multi speed fan running 24/7, the most efficient HVAC on the planet. What you have now is a SEER 15, seen them in Costco, you can double efficiency again with Mitsubitie…sp

Queen We'dBee is buzz'n on my videos because it is part of my life to help me create content but I don't think that's Eric's style. His creativity in the art of video making gets my attention. But, We'dBee wish'n we could BEE at a party with Eric & friends BEEcause they'd BEE having fun. Hope your day is buzz'n with aloha🐝💨
@@wedbeebuzznhawaii8623 he’s not seriously asking this guy is a big hater of erick if you look at his comments. He’s reaching for something.
It's been super hot here in Southern Florida too. Have you ever been to Alaska? Maybe next summer you should head north to beat the heat.
You're gonna have snakes under your buildings too. So make sure there are no holes or cracks anywhere they could slide inside through.
Get a sheet of foam board insulation to cut to size and put it to cover the window where the a/c is.
I hope you can catch and store some of that monsoon rain water.
You could look to add gutters to your sheds and then capture the rain water into your tanks. Would suggest you get a 2nd tank if you can and if it's bigger then sweet happy days
Hi temps in Phoenix is not a new phenominum. It was 118 degrees when I was there in 1961.
It’s always something in the RV but it still gives us freedom and beautiful views
you should get a bunch of PVC pipe and rig up a big sun shade to park the RV under
Gopher snake common snake here. Suppose to get thunderstorms this weekend should cool down. July always the worst month here.
The whole story about rattlesnakes evolving to not have rattles is an old wives' tale. Total BS.
Fortunately you are at homestead/basecamp right now so you have a safe place while you are dealing with all of your mechanical issues.
Nice AC! Hope all window units are like that in the future.
A snake like that on your property is a blessing, great way to control pests but be careful with the puppy.
Make sure to watch where you are walking. Don't let Tig near it
Hey Eric, we came back to the PNW. It’s only 88’ here. It hasn’t been real hot here this year. We may get hot weather soon, but we can always go to the coast the get relief from the heat. Sometimes it’s nice to leave the heat and find cool air
Round head round eyes friendly! triangle head slit eyes and pits behind mouth beware!
Closer shots of the eye would help, and a good shot of the tail as well, but that looks to be a gopher snake. We have them around, and if it is a gopher snake they are harmless and good to have around.
hey Eric way to go on getting everything you've done and for the Rattle snakes Get some mothballs that will get rid of them
Gopher and bull snakes have same pattern at diamondback and Mojave rattlesnakes. The real determiner is shape of head. Triangular head for rattlers. Bull and gopher snakes are good to have around to reduce rodent population.
Build you a RV cover to keep the sun off
And then I wouldn’t get any Solar… Would not solve anything
@@nomadicfanatic I guess you need the solar panels. But it would keep it from getting hot. And it save your roof . RV cover 14 ft tall over the RV motorhome park underneath it
Dont let the puppy burn his feet.
Babies have rattles from the beginning. Check shape of head is not triangular. Get a book to check.
Best to learn your native snakes. So you know what exactly a diamondback rattlesnake looks like and the difference in non venomous ones.
Were you ever able to get the water truck man out there? 💧🚛🤔
Lamar, from the "Solar Cabin" channel, runs his swamp cooler off his solar batteries. They also have battery-operated rechargeable air conditioners. Montana Danna recently got one and is very happy with it.
I've followed Solar Cabin from the first day he came onto the web. A clever fellow. I also have one of his books of houses
Nice sharing Vidio 🇮🇩🌺🌼👍
He really is a strange cat. What grown man collects Mickey Mouse memorabilia. He's the ultimate man-child.
Most cats are strange
More devices and electronics than NASA
for a shed in the desert. Have to wonder if it's all worth it, considering it will be for sale by the end of the year.
Love Tig's Airplane ears!❤️
and, I love Tig's running stripe along his nose
The air conditioner is so awesome Eric! We might have to invest in one. 360 watts is crazy for an ac unit. Hope all is well :)
I agree, I just added one to my next order.
Eric ... relating to Tig's situation 8-5-23 ... no worries... a man has to know his limitations ... not just relating to what he CAN do but, one has to consider His comfort zone along with the reality of the effect on others ... you acted very responsibly!
your in a dry state, why aren't you using an evaporative cooler? you just need a few gallons of water and about 50-60 watts an hour.
You may want to consider getting Tig the rattlesnake vaccine.
Hang in there Eric you've been hit with one thing after the next lately, always remember it's just a moment in time, it will pass. Relax a bit you don't always have to entertain, just be you and enjoy life. Bless you and the babies. Stay cool. Maybe get a second ac for babe the blue box and you can hang out in there with all your collections. Put it permanently into the wall . Keep smiling 😊
The poisonous snakes usually have a square block looking head and they have the evil slit eye. That little fellow has beady round eyes and no pitbull looking head, so very likely not poisonous. I'd keep him around to keep the rat population down.
That's a gopher snake. Rattlesnakes have a large, triangular head. This guy had a "regular" snake head. The AC unit intrigues me. Take care.
I am interested in the new Window AC unit you got. I looked it up on Midea's website. You said it uses 360 but Midea states it uses 710 watts.
They have a lot of different models with different BTU.
@@nomadicfanatic tell us what model you got because all the 8000 btu were higher wattage when i looked.
Just remember a lock keeps an honest man honest but it won’t stop a thief.
Tig is a good fit for you and you got him at the right age.
What about a tiny home on the property? ❤
I'm sure Opey & Tara are saying to Tig....yeah you have to perform for a treat, but we don't have to do anything 😸😸🐕
Thanks for the tip on the Midea. Historical heat in Northern Nevada as well.
Bravo......no diamond head......coffer snake......no rattle.......Friendly......cheers
Glad you have all that security. Heat wave has hit us here in SW Ohio, with Friday heat index of 105! Going to get some short yard work done early Fri. as I am off. I am behind at 71 and all alone.
He's a sneaky snake oh yes he is!.....but not a venomous one. If their pupils are round, they're OK. If they're slitted, watch out Jack! Those can ruin your day!
