And why did the man hang it on the bamboo pole? It was because he wanted to show that soft-shell turtle was wild and big. I estimate that soft-shell turtle should be at least 400 RMB (about 50 Euro)/kg. By the way, soft-shell turtle is edible in China and is one of the expensive ingredients.
