Even as an MD, having previously heard of many of these medical facts in fragmented form, I have to say that this was an extremely interesting and comprehensive presentation, brilliantly delivered.
Thank you, Dr. Gundry! I learned a lot.
Probably some of the best, most well produced medical video series I've seen on UA-cam.
Dr. Gundry makes it so compelling ... You can't help but root for him. 👍👍🏻👍🏼

OMG !! THANK YOU ....THANK YOU !!! This one nailed it for me !! I get it now how to improve what's needed. And yes, I know the L.A. freeway systems well growing up there in 50's-60's. When visiting family or events I avoid the freeways as they are insane now..and think as you described a mitochondria deal with what I've been putting in my gut !! LOL !!! SO TRUE ...
I’m gotta write this out it’s so important 🙏🌸🦋🌱🥊
No need writing,
Read the transcript.

Lovely!
Dr Gundry I saw you on UA-cam in the podcast called addressing his claims. You we great. You got my respect. Woow. And let me tell you I couldn't believe these woman is a doctor, for me she is just a lobbyist for pharmaceutical companies. That I think would be a great job for her and she would do really good because she's brainwashed. Thank you and keep doing what you do you really great. I can't even describe as a foreigner how much I appreciate your work thank you thank you thank you
thanks a lot
Amazing
I really appreciate you making this video. I need to eat more fiber!
I am bit confused here. I usually have a bowl of some fruit before every meal like grapes, papaya, apple, cantaloupe and other seasonal fruits. Can this be causing me problems of low energy while increasing inflammation in my body ? I try to walk 5-6 days a week. Please share your comments on what worked or did not work for you. Thanks for your help
So I should cut out the pomegranate avocado Watermelon and blueberry smoothies?
I think the majority of people don't quite understand the significance of emulsifiers. Most just mix it in with their coffee at work and don't give it a second thought.
So, when we age do we have less mitochondria or is it only that the mitochondria is less effective, or both?
so eat fat for breakfast, protein for lunch and sugar for dinner, then.
an interesting insight.
So you're saying, dinner is a good time to have the 4 main food groups (per Buddy the Elf), candy, candy corn, candy cane and syrup?👍👍
Can you give me an example what do you eat? Over the day?
For those of us suffering with SIBO, isn't it true that we need to consume foods that digest as quickly as possible in order to prevent the bacteria in our small intestine from metabolizing the food and producing gas? If cassava flour digests quickly, wouldn't that be a good thing for SIBO sufferers?
What food do I use to replace fruit.. of course fruit not only assists digesting greatly ..especially grapefruit.. it is also very refreshing when it is stored in the refrigerator so it's cold ..and of course obviously it is a source of vitamin C
red bell pepper has the highest levels of vitamin C. just cook the skin off and take the seeds out so its lectin free.
Holy cow
Do you suggest a specific brand of MCT oil?
Following, I've been using organic coconut mct oil myself but I'd like to know if there is a better source. I take so many supplements, wish I had a doctor that could tell me what I should and shouldn't take. Trying to go naturally
@@millionairemccoy218 me too, I bought órganos MCT oil in Amazon, but there are another brands, I think all are same, but I would like to know the doc opinion.
Therefore, should fruits be reduced?
Yes, perhaps one or two servings per week spread out, no more.
so the bottom line is eat only whole foods-or eat one food at a time?
Eat whole foods and eat less frequently to prevent a rush-hour scenario that Dr G described
I wonder if taking whey protein in the morning is problematic
👍🙏👍
What habits did he go over ? Did i miss the habits ?
The cell ate a bacteria and it took on a hugely important function keeping all of us alive......also....the universe came from nothing for no reason at all. Right....
Exactly. How hilarious. Science can be good but let's be real
Science is proven facts that people base their lives on...until its isn't and gets changed. 🤦
People base their life on what science is telling them. Its 100% accurate after all! Until its not and changes repeatedly over time
It's a good fairy tale for adults
And if that was the case then who created the first cell and bacteria.
Dr. Gundry says to "give fruit the boot". Yet in other videos, he recommends eating certain fruits (such as pomegranate and black currant), to feed the gut microbiome, and produce post-biotics, such as Urolithin A.
In any case, I've been eating fruit every day my entire life; and at age 68, I have absolutely no signs of dementia, or inflammation, or liver problems (my ALT is 29, my AST is 25), or joint pain. Plus, I still have 5% body fat, which I've had all my adult life.
what kind of fruit, how often daily, how much do you move daily? How many of your age friends are still alive? If most of them are sick or dead consider having better genes and simply not fitting average without reason to generalize own case
@@szymonbaranowski8184 The main point I was making is that Dr. Gundry appears to have a contradictory double-standard in his philosophy, when he says to "give fruit the boot", while in other videos he recommends several fruits, that he believes people should eat for good health.

👏👏This generalized statement makes me wonder, also.....Maybe some fruits are worse than others, when it comes to causing your body to create the palmitate that he says is so bad....like fruits high in glucose (such as apples, pears, mangoes, cherries, figs, watermelon and dried fruit) and I imagine the quantity of fruit could be a factor....but we really didn't get enough information to answer these questions, and I have become highly suspicious, the older I get, about any "expert" advising to discontinue eating a whole group of foods. Personally, I eat very little fruit in my diet, and yet I am still tired a lot of the time….That's why I was watching this video, hoping to get some insight....🤷♀️🤷♀️
He says to eat fruit in season. If you live in a high yield environment, you can get away with eating fruit all year round. You need to match the same environment the food is grown in otherwise it will lead to a mismatch with your biology.
Two billion years ??? You sure about that
Science is exacting in its "facts" 😆
This dude is the used car salesman of doctors.
Got to be careful about context here; iff the sole purpose of life is to move electrons from one level of charge to the other--that may be true on that level--but hardly THE purpose of life for human beings!
What about my skin cream? Ok?
16:05 This to me seems like complete BS. I only ever feel bad from fruit, back when I was Number 1 : Sedentary 2: Ate too much 3: Bad sleep 4: No fasting and bad gut health 5: No fruit or carbs with everymeal, to improve mitochondria, Fruit gives me a huge energy boost in fact, and no drawback, IF you dont eat it at every single meal or overeat.
Were do you buy mitochondria supplements high strength.
