Goderich is a small sleepy little town that i grew up in, and at this early time in the morning, there is hardly anyone awake or about. It is literally a ghost town at 2am!
And the name and age of the perpetrator? Is he out on Bail? Let's go back to the Juvenile Delinquents Act, when teen criminals were NOT permitted to be 'anonymous'....and ADULT responsibility for crimes....began at 16.

This makes my blood boil. Letting this guy out, Kurtis Green, was clearly a threat to citizen's safety, yet 3 months after getting out on bail for very similar serious charges, and previous convictions for the same type of stuff in 2021, he is allowed to wreak havoc on the streets of Goderich. Criminals belong in jail.

EDIT: For those who dont know, details so far are that its a male of 32 years of age, no fixed address and he was in possession of methamphetamines.
His name is Kurtis Green, who is a repeat offender and is still in custody and awaiting a bail hearing.

I did a post with his name and mentioned his massive rap sheet, that post was deleted in seconds. Goderich police did release an article with his name, and yes 32 and violent repeat offender.

Goderich went to contract policing while I was living there so calls a routed to a detachment out of town. The local police at the time was corrupt and useless. The Bluewater detention centre is not far from Goderich, makes it easier to incarcerate juvenile miscreants. Glad they caught the offender, young or not so young.
Surveillance video places them all at Tim Hortons in that four hour window.

Rather than interview a bunch of Karen's, ask real questions to the OPP, such as, how did a suspect manage to return to a junkyard (aka Chrysler dealer), that was already a crime scene, and manage to steal a 2nd SUV? How many officer's were on duty at that hour? Where did they respond from? Are you short staff ? Like usual, reporter's today do not ask the real questions.

What? A Goderich town square? Goderich is famous for their city hall being in the center of the city with a big traffic circle around it. It was like that when I was there in 1977.
It is not city hall that is in the middle of the town square, it is the court-house. Often reffered to as the "Court-house square" It is more of an octagon than a square, but everyone calls it the 'square'

I was there in 1977 for a week, seeing the court house octagon from a hotel window, three stories up, whatever the bar was called, a big building on the corner. On the side street across from the bar was a "Pete's Pizza". If you felt the quiet undercurrent of love and compassion in Goderich, you know our band was there for at least six nights.
@@johnwattdotca That bar would be the Bedford Hotel on the square. Hotel rooms with a nice bar on the main floor. The building dates back into the 1800's.
Did you also know, that Walt Disney once stayed at the Bedford. That is why in the summer of 1998 (I think it was) They had an actual Disney parade on the square. Straight from Disney!

@@RedDevilMoto My wife and I enjoy going there almost every summer bcz of the nice boardwalk and the beach and we love that pub just up the hill before going down to the water. It really is pretty. The town center is cool and we love that cheese shop.
