Awesome, thank you!
Thanks so much!!
But I've found an even better way to make flickering glow, and that is to use also the value in front of the wiggle.
I've made a very soft flicker by doing:
value + (wiggle(5,20))
Great tip!
The technique starts at 3:40 You're welcome!
thanks
Could I set key frames to the flashing to time it how I want it?
is there a way to repeat the cycle seamlessly?
Hi, I'm trying o use a wiggle expression but I DON'T want its amplitude to go below the original number, only variations beyond that number, can you help me please?
how u know the coding?
❤❤❤❤❤
Ive been trying to do this effect, but my masks don't scale or when I tried to create a mask, the background goes completely back, then when I click on mode, I only have 4 options, add, none, divide, substract, lighten, difference, could someone tell me, what am I doing wrong? When I click on mask, it immediately moves to the foreground layer, in this case, my picture
What if we wanted it to wiggle alot more subtly ?
reduce the amplitude and frequency numbers
wiggle(10,20)
My issue here is this isn't very realistic at all to how an actual light flickers. I've always found that good looking flickers take a little bit more time than just a wiggle expression, specifically if you're going for realism as you are here. If you just need something quick and simple I think what you've outlined here is more than enough, but I would definitely put a little more love into this if the whole point was to be realistic to how an actual light flickers.
You sound like if tim gunn was straight is the only way i can describe it. This is neither a good nor a bad thing its completely neutral to me
Thank you!!
