The story goes that Nikki Sixx told Godsmack to make sure they don't do "too well" on stage - basically don't blow Crue off the stage because CRUE was the headliner, not them. Sully then said a big "fuck you," and went out and proceeded to blow Crue away - and then Sully wrote this song about him. :)
