Great video, again! What I have learned from my 60 plus years of metal detecting when going to the beach. My 12 golden rules of metal detecting a beach! 1. Pick out 10 beaches to hunt. NEVER go to the same beach twice in a row unless you want to get robbed. 2. The beaches MUST be behind expensive hotels or bars if you want to find great targets! People who go to expensive hotels and bars ALWAYS wear expensive jewelry to show off on vacation and they end up going out from the bars, usually drunk, on the beach, thus loosing their jewelry. 3. The beaches MUST have sugar sand! Once something is lost in sugar sand it takes a metal detector to find it. 4. Go to the beach BEFORE you hunt it! This way you know where the most people congregate thus where the most targets will be! Before people who wear jewelry to the beach go into the water they take their jewelry off and hide in the corner of their towel. When they come out of the water they are wet and immediately grab their towel to dry off on and scatter their jewelry all over the place. 5. Always detect the seaweed FIRST! Chains, rings, coins and other pieces of jewelry gets tangled up in it and it washes ashore! 6. Detect the cuts and troughs second. You'll get several inches deeper thus more old targets. 7. If you start at low tide start next to the water parallel and work a 50 yard line along side the water working up with the tide as the tide rises. If you start at high tide start at the waters edge and work a 50 yard line parallel working with the tide as it lowers down with the water as it receeds. 8. ALWAYS remember to overlap your swings! It takes longer but you'll find more targets! 9. Keep track of where you detect on each beach in a diary so you won't detect the same place twice in a row. 10. ALWAYS fill in your holes EVEN in the water. If someone steps in a hole before the surf fills it up they could get hurt and you and everyone else could be banned fron EVER being allowed to hunt there again. 11. When going into the water ALWAYS tether you detector to you. When digging up a target in the water it could take both hands so you might take your hands off your detector just to see it float away! 12. Don't swing your detector to fast! It's not a race! Only go as fast as your detector will let you. I hope this helps everyone have more prosperous hunts! God bless everyone and be safe out there. 🇺🇸
My mate has just bought a new simplex it only has three frequencies and he has a lot Of trouble with his pin pointer he has tried it in all three frequencies but is getting terrible interference What can he do
Talked to Nocta/Makro and they said they were working on a update to hopefully help with this issue. Apparently a lot of pinpointer run in that 12.5 range and that's what's causing issue. That's what I was told. Hope this helped.

Interesting where I live blanket ban on digging from council, and no clubs for miles, also lost my permission when farmer sold his land to developers. So a bit stuffed at the moment. KEN.UK
So that's where you live lol. Have a nose along that stretch of cliff late spring/early summer. Absolutely loads of mustard grows wild along that stretch.

Good watch enjoyed
How do you get a detecting license?
You don’t need a license buddy just permission and follow the detecting code of conduct that’s all buddy :)
@@THEGRIMBLEEPER Thank goodness, thank you for letting me know!!
My mate has just bought a new simplex it only has three frequencies and he has a lot
Of trouble with his pin pointer he has tried it in all three frequencies but is getting terrible interference
What can he do
David Cork I have answered this on my other vid :/
There is a setting where you can choose different frequencys! Read your manual. I hope this helps. 🇺🇸
The Veteran
It came with the new update of only three frequencies the pin pointer does not work on any of them
