Nate Dogg really was an underrated artist and a big part of the soundtrack to my youth. I have so many good time memories with his smooth vocals blasting in the background.
Same here, well said! R.I.P. Nate Dogg
Facts
Truth! I didn't know he has passed until this video. He was so talented and so young.
@@bellememorieI knew Nate Dogg passed away, but I didn’t know he died from strokes. That’s sad in itself
A true underrated artist
Love the story about Terry Burnham’s fans making sure she got a proper burial. I’ll always think of that now when I watch her legendary Twilight Zone episode.
I remember hearing Jenny singing in clubs all over LA. She loves Long Beach. She always said she was going to be buried there. She grew up there and love it as she called it her Playa Larga
I used to watch her reality show. She was so sweet and her family was very close. I felt so bad for her little boy. I used to practice listening to Spanish conversation because they would talk half and half! :)
Thank you for visiting my homie Nate Dogg and my girl Jenni Rivera
Oh Arthur, just so you know, my dad - who died in 1974 at the young age of 45 from lung cancer - is buried at Forest Lawn Sunnyside. I was not even aware there were that many notable people buried there. The only one I was aware of was a former California Governor - whose name I can't recall - is in the mausoleum. But I'm so glad that Long Beach got recognized. It's about time.
I don’t think I have anyone from my family buried in forest lawn in Long Beach
Frank Finley Merriam, 28th governor (1934 - 1939).
@@craigtalbott731 Thanks.
@@ABizarreShowcase Good to know. I'll alert the media.
I'm sorry for your loss.
Sadly I have many good friends buried there, most were far too young to have been laid to rest here. May all of us who have lost loved ones come to peace with it and all those who have passed rest in peace ❤️💔❤️🌹
Hi Joanne my condolences to all your late friends
RIP to them all.
All the best from Liverpool UK ✌👍💙
Amen to that
@Joanne Madden sorry to hear that may all your friends R.I.P.
❤
@@jimmorrison3756 Hello Jim, thank you for your kind wishes. I'm originally from Manchester, by way of Ireland. The Famine had My Ancestors migrated in the mid 1800's.
Thank you for remembering Terry Burnham. Though her screen time in Imitation of Life is brief it's a spectacular film. I'm grateful her fans made sure she was laid to rest with love.
Very touched. The most human thing one can do. 🤝
Oh my gosh, so many memories as I worked at both of these places. You featured my clip of Earl Daughtery on the final viewer collaboration. Also there is Richard Loynes, a famed LB speed boat racer in Sunnyside Mausoleum who died in a speedboat race. Sunnyside Mausoleum is my favorite mausoleum, next Mountain View in Altadena. I was working at All Souls when Nate Dogg died, but I was still stuck in the happenings across the street. I was driving a procession for another funeral, and someone cut through it and drove along side my hearse thinking it was Nate Dogg, hoping to get a peek at his casket. Then we had to go across to FLLB to pick up a decedent, but couldn't get on the premises as they were having his commital service. There were helicopters and security all over, street closures as well. I did manage to drive by and snap a very blurry pic. Jenni Rivera died shortly after I left All Souls, and she was picked up from the airport in my favorite hearse. For a while you couldn't even walk past her grave without security popping out to make sure you weren't trying to be nosy. When i was employed there, that particular section was under construction and the perfect place to hide for a smoke break. Quick fact...a man shot himself in the ground floor of Sunnyside Mausoleum, when i was there in the early 2000's, in front of his grandmother's crypt, who also committed suicide decades before. I still get the creeps when I wander down there.
Wow! Thank you for sharing, that's nuts!
That was very interesting. Thank you
Yeesh that ending though
Nice, rap/hip-hop song! I thought that was pretty good, Arthur! Didn’t know you were “in the closet” musician, that song sounds cool! Thank you for sharing your hidden talents with us! 😎🤘
I love his content but please DONT encourage his “rap” 🤣
How very sad that there are unmarked graves among these folks. Every living soul should be honored for making it through this thing called life. Thank you for being the keeper of memories, Art.
That thought also passed through my mind. Maybe after 50 years pass they should put a plain name and dates marker on all the ones that are unmarked just so people generations from now on Ancestry can find their people. It is so sad to let all that history go.
@@bunnymomjulie6719 maybe they didn’t want a marker. Even after 50 years no one should go against the wishes of the deceased. The people who matter to them know where they are buried. It’s no one else’s business.
@@susanmcintyre5377 It would be nice if that were the case, but you might be surprised at how much not "going by the wishes" goes on. Some people don't spend any time at the cemetery, forget, or don't want to be bothered or spend the money. Or maybe everyone is gone already and there's no one to do it. It's like all the empty plots that lie waste because the other person remarried, left the area, or just changed their mind. Or the unclaimed cremated remains that lie on a basement shelf for all eternity. Whatever reason, after those "people who mattered to them" are all gone, plain labels should be put in place for history. Death notices are public information.
I hate thinking about my own mortality, and you would think the opposite of what I'm gonna say, but your videos are not only interesting, the calm me in a way and make coming to terms with mortality a slightly less scary thought...so thank you, love the channel
💯
I totally agree 👍 I feel the same way about my own mortality but, as you said, watching Arthur's vlogs & his calming voice along with the beautifully serene cemeteries, have made me a bit calmer about it.
No one here gets out alive. JM
I feel the same way! Thought I was the only one who felt like this.
Add me to the list! I just turned 44 in December and I’ll say straight up I’ve been terrified of death my whole life. Not so much of actually dying but what happens after. All the death industry stuff freaks me out-can’t get near a coffin without heart racing and sweating, don’t get me started on hearses! 4 years ago I had what turned out to be a non life threatening health issue so I suddenly had a LOT of time on my hands! I kind of stumbled on this channel out of boredom-at first I thought no way, this is just asking for nightmares! I reconsidered and decided I’d try one episode and I could always stop if I felt uncomfortable which was what I honestly expected to happen. I not only got through the episode, I was gobsmacked floored at the end. Arthur’s respect and honor to all these celebrities lives is incredible. The production values are fantastic too. Watching it I wasn’t scared at all which was a huge surprise to me-learning more about these celebrities lives was interesting to me. And like the rest of you said there was a strange calming watching it which I didn’t see coming at all. I consider very few UA-cam channels to be good, worthwhile content-Arthur’s work is one of those very few. Needless to say I subscribed after that video and have seen most of the content produced since! At the very least he deserves an award for his outstanding work. This would honestly work very well as a TV show but I think it’s better off here on UA-cam where everyone can enjoy and appreciate Arthur’s hard work!
Your high production value is greatly appreciated! One can tell you put a great deal of work and pride into your videos! Well done Arthur...and thank you!
If you want really great production with new content every week, go to deaf
Dead good walks cha
channel!
I love your video and joy every minute of it
YESSSS! Always a great day when Hollywood Graveyard posts an update. Thank you!
Certainly brightens our days! It’s been a while since we last saw a new episode pop up in the notifications!
@@alexanderkostan2488 I miss Jenni Rivera
I love the music in the beginning. That old smooth jazz really makes you feel like you’re back in time
Thank you for the Jenni Rivera tribute…I remember what a shock it was when first her plane was missing and then the plane’s remains being found…very sad occasion for the Latino community in LA…
Freezing rain coming down but warming up with a new Hollywood Graveyard. Thanks Arthur and everyone at Hollywood Graveyard.
Arthur dark would you fulfill my suggestion by visiting the grave of John philip sousa please and you are a sweet kind guy on youtube ♥️😊
I am so glad you are back!!!!
Thank you Arthur for another informative tour, as an Australian i would never get to see the final resting places of the famous if not for you.
I as a fellow Aussie am in the same boat ⛵
Arthur, not only you are a great narrator, excellent telling of each deceased biography life and death without any pronounciation mistake. You can also sing magnificently well. Thanks for bringing to our celular screen these wonderful tours in the valley of those who lived to entertain us.

Thank you for covering Long Beach, my adopted hometown. I have family, friends, and loved ones buried at Forest Lawn Sunnyside. Such a beautiful and peaceful place.
My absolute favorite UA-cam channel. Always interesting and entertaining. Thank you for featuring Terry Burnham. I've been to her grave and the staff told me she has many visitors.
Always happy to see a new vid! A good morning from Perth,Australia
Can't click on this quick enough. Lets go Arthur Dark!
Love these. Arthur and Giuseppe do great things
As a Brit, I really appreciate that you posted this slightly earlier in the day than usual! A couple of times I've ended up staying awake later than planned on a work night because you uploaded and I was too impatient to wait!!!
Thanks so much! Keep up the good work!.
I would LOVE to hear a full-length musical collaboration between you and Giuseppe Vasapolli!
Yay it's a Hollywood graveyard morning. It's, 06:34 here in south Australia 🦘
Absolutely love this channel !
As always One hundred percent classy video. Always respectful of the departed. Thank you Arthur
The spirit of Sublime was amazing ❤
I grew up here in Colorado. But my childhood consisted of West Coast gangster rap. Nate Dogg was one my uncle would blast in his gold Ford Ranger everyday along with 2pac, Snoop Dogg, N.W.A, Naughty by Nature etc.. His music holds a special place in my heart. And always will. An underrated legend in my book.
Deberias hacer un tour especial dedicado a famosos latinos. En especial mexicanos. Sería genial
Wow that's so cool you came to my city!!! My grandparents are buried at the All Souls ❤
I’ve been waiting for this video for such a long time. I’m a bug Jenni Rivera fan. This channel is one of my favorites.
Another great tribute Mr. Dark to the “dearly departed.” May they all continue to rest in peace……..🙏🏾💜😔
I have been binge watching this series starting with episode 1 and I am both stunned and saddened how many stars have either unclaimed remains or no marker on their grave
I absolutely love this video and I thought it was one of the best videos and it was really cool. Thank you for giving us the most entertaining videos ever.
I've missed you Arthur 🥰🥰 Thanks so much for an outstanding episode
Man Nate dogg is one of my fave rappers thanks Arthur
The singing at the beginning was COOL, Arthur! Now, we expect that at the start of every video!! 👍
I was so glad to see a new video of yours Arthur. As I have said before, you & Giuseppe are great at what you do. You do so much research & provide so much information on each person. You show so much respect to each soul you visit. Please keep these videos coming Arthur. I have never been comfortable thinking about my parents, brother, children & grandchildren's mortality let alone my own but, by seeing the beautifully serene cemeteries that you visit, it has made me come more to terms with it...thank you for that Arthur. I'm one of your faithful subs.
May all you visit RIP 🪦 🙏🕯🕊
Best part of my day today! Thank you, Mr. Dark 😎👏🏻
Thanks for the tours you provide, until the next one, be safe
I believe the mausoleum at Sunnyside inspired scenes from the movie Phantasm. Director Don Coscarelli grew up in nearby Rossmoor. I also believe the guy who played Reggie in the Phantasm films worked there.
I've been spoiled by this channel. When a video isnt over 20 mins I get sad. The viewer participation videos is what did it. Love it all Arthur
Sunnyside was used in Phantasm. That scene where one brother is visiting the grave of his older brother has followed me all my life because I never wanted to see my brother dead. Great movie.
Thank you for coming to my hometown, I'm so glad you did. I have family in Sunnyside. It's a beautiful cemetery.
I must say this how beautiful is this cemetery, so many young ppl that died , gees may they all rip and know they will not be forgotten 🙏😢💔🥀🥀
Arthur, you have enough footage to do a spin-off video covering classical music and composers. Always found those specific visits fascinating and educational
Thanks Arthur, always great to hear from you!
I'm so very proud of your evolution. You have done such a great job as always. I see how you've continued to incorporate beautiful design and music elements in your productions, which give it another rich layer to your work. Keep us your exquisite and stylized productions. PS - love your opening rap!!
I enjoyed this video and hearing about the girl who played in "Song of the South, Luana Patten ". Also, the little girl from the "Twilight Zone, Theresa Burnham" as well. I really liked the music that you did in the beginning of the video as well. Hope you do it again soon on more videos!
Thank you for visiting Luana Patten's grave. As Ginny she broke my heart in Song Of The South, I won't say which part as not to spoil the movie for others should Disney come to their senses and release it again. I truly believe those who describe Song Of The South as a racist movie have never seen it and I was so glad you visited James Baskett's grave in a previous video as he is wonderful as Uncle Remus.
Neither Song Of The South nor Splash Mountain at Walt Disney World made anyone a racist and shame on those who think removing them is a good idea. I have Song Of The South on VHS and I still have a VHS player to play favourite movies that never saw a release onto later formats.
I have a friend that just found a DVD copy this week. I can find out where.
I was having a rotten day and then I saw there was a new video and now it's so much better
I love watching these videos of you visiting all the famous grave, keep it up xxx
So glad you visited All Souls Cemetery where my Mom, Uncles, and Grandparents are buried. Frank Zamboni is the pride of Paramount, CA ! Jack Snow's son is former MLB baseball player JT Snow.
Love this thanks again Dark Arthur! 😊❤
I wish Covina Hills Forest Lawn would get more recognition as well. It's also a beautiful cemetery. My dad, grandparents, and 1 cousin are buried there, and I also think the founders of In-N-Out burger are interred there as well 🍔
Thank you Mr. Dark! Great tour and please keep rapping and rocking!
Yaaaaaaayyyyy HG@!! Nice to see you!!!! Yaaaaaaayyy!!!!
I just fought back tears upon hearing about the good deeds done to give Terry Burnham a final resting place and marker. What a beautiful thing.
I love Twilight Zone, and she was perfect in that role. RIP little Markie. ❤
Thank you Arthur for your channel and content. I recently turned 55 and have been really stressing out over death. My counselor said it's normal. Maybe I'm gearing up watching your channel lol. This might sound selfish but I'm not ready to go. Take care my friend.❤️
Not selfish at all. I turned 55 recently too and totally get where you're coming from. Still sooo much life to live. 👍🏾
I don’t have a death wish, but death doesn’t scare me. I believe I’m going home, where no more tears or sorrow will ever be. This world is not my home; I’m just a-passing through. ❤
@@susanmcintyre5377 Bless you Susan.❤️
@@naturalvee67 Thank you.❤️
0:54 You are a great singer who’s got an amazing composer to accompany your every desire! That wasn’t well written, but I hope that I got my message across. The final words sung were, “it gets harder”!
What a great end to a perfect day! Arthur, thank you! Loved the opening homage to Sublime!
Another awesome video. I especially liked the little musical interlude shortly after the intro. Nice touch.
So happy when I got my notification ❤️
Nice singing, too!
Brilliant Arthur, as always. A lot of sad early deaths in the first visitation. Keep 'em coming 👍
I remember "Markie" from the Twilight Zone. Always look forward to your shows. You're the BEST in the business!
Thank you Hollywood Graveyard for another fantastic video x
My favorite singer is Jenni Rivera listen to her songs. I love her songs ❤❤
reallly appreciate you expanding your quest to include more athletes. I remember Norm Larker very well. He was a fine ball player and a lot of people will remember him.
As serendipity goes, I was only just watching the Adventures of Captain Marvel last night with Frank Coghlan Jr as Billy here on UA-cam. Always a delight to watch your informative HG tours and at the same time brings perspective of being reminded of our limited tenure in life. Love and light to all.
💐💐RIP to everyone that was featured in this video you will truly be missed and my prayers go out to you all and your families.💐💐
Can't say I am familiar with any of these people other than knowing the name of the Zamboni machine.
This was too short for me. I love Hollywood Graveyard.
Do so enjoy these videos Arthur, all these greats now at peace and rest. Can’t wait till the next grave tour. 😎😎
Thank you Auther for another great video.....blessings xoxo
Your series is the best one on UA-cam!
Thank you 😊
I absolutely love all your videos...love from Melbourne Australia ❤🙏❤🦋🦋🦋
That intro was hilarious 😂
I love that you came here! Thank you for repping LB♥️🙏🏾
Well done! Was nice to see Hollywood graveyard again
Arthur you have outdone yourself again. I simply love the cemetery visits & notable deaths. Keep them coming & hear you on any updates.❤️
Came across your video very intriguing and thank you for sharing. I remember watching I Love Jenni. It was sad to hear of her tragic passing along with her public relations specialist, makeup artist, hairdresser, lawyer and the two pilots. May they rest in peace🙏🏻.
I look forward to Arthur's videos. Always enjoyable.
I saw Jenni Rivera crash photos. She was shredded into pieces.
Your channel always pushes me towards watching some of these old films. Many I've not seen. Keep up the great work!
Thankyou for remembering Jenni Rivera 🫶🏻
Coming up on 300K! You deserve triple that with your content.
Regulators is one of the best songs of all time! RIP Nate Dogg.
Such a wonderful channel! I always look forward to Arthur's videos accompanied by Giuseppe's incredible music. Hope they go on for a long, long time.🤗
I always am looking to see you have a new video out . I enjoy watching and learning about famous actors and actresses also all the famous people you show us. Please keep them coming. I've told my wife several times when she retires in March that this summer are fall we are going to LA to see those beautiful cemetery's. Thank you again
When I saw you visited All Souls Cemetery, I immediately clicked this episode. All Souls cemetery has a special place in my heart, both my grandpa and Grandma are buried there along with my Aunt and a few cousins. At the 16:37 mark where the monument is at my Grandma, grandpa, Aunt, and one of my cousin graves are at. Great episode as always!!
Arthur, I think yoi missed your calling!!! Great video! How lovely to toast them at the end! Thank you for all of your hard work!
Thanks Arthur🪦 RIP to all these fabulous legends💔
Thank you the time and talent you put into these amazing vlogs.
I would LOVE if you did a special on fashion designers and fashion models who have passed emphasis on the fashion industry! Would be so great! Love your videos
I work at a department store so I agree with that statement!
