Tim was SO funny...
Mr Conway and Harvey Korman played well off of one another, one of those great comedy tag teams of those days.
My mother was totally devoid of a sense of humor, a fact she would seldom deny. Once when she was unamused by a comedian I was enjoying on TV I pointed out that she didn't like any comedians. She thought briefly, then said that was untrue--she liked Tim Conway.
I introduced my best buddy Harry to Hollywood Graveyard 2 years ago and we would watch hours of episodes together. He loved this channel and would light up when I told him a new video was added for us to watch together. Sadly, he died yesterday suddenly of a heart attack at 77. It was truly a gift to see this today. Thank you for bringing him so much joy, he really enjoyed your work. 💕

Whenever I'm in L.A. I always make it a point to visit Mr. Dean Martin's grave.
I live in Dean’s hometown of Steubenville, Ohio. Every year, the city holds a festival the weekend of his birthday, which is named in his honor

I’m so sorry for your loss, my friend’s mum passed away in early February this year( 2021) she was like” Another mother” to me n a very dear friend.
I was fortunate enough to speak to Mary Carlisle twice on the phone. I even recorded one of our conversations (with her permission) as she shared remembrances of her time in Hollywood and even gave me some health tips.

One of the first shows I remember watching as a kid in the 70;s was reruns of Mchale's Navy. My dad was career Navy and I always tried to picture my dad goofing off and getting in trouble like they did.

I knew Sigrid Valdis as Pat Crane when she lived in Washington state. She was a cat fancier and we belonged to the same fancier's club. She was charming and very approachable.

Tim Conway - one of my favorite comedians from my childhood.
Before my best friend died, we wanted to go see all these stars ⭐️ graves before she died because of our grandparents’ being fans of old movies! So now I watch and subscribe to this channel for her! She could have been a co star for Charlie Chaplin or worked for Billy Wilder! She was really funny!

I’m so glad you did Tim Conway. The Dentist skit is one of thee most funniest moments in Television history. I was a little kid when I seen it for the first time. I never forgot it. I still laugh just as much. Tim Conway is so underrated. He was a comedy genius!
Side note: I can’t remember who said it maybe Tim ConwayJR. On his radio show That Harvey Korman pissed his pants during this skit! He could not keep a straight face and couldn’t hold it..peed all over himself. 😂

Christopher George: I remember watching The Rat Patrol as a child and he also appeared with his wife Linda Day George On shows. Linda did an interview on Geraldo’s talkshow In 1995 and was still visibly heartbroken talking about Chris and his sudden death. She said she had known him since she was in her teens and after he died she would go into the closet and sit on the floor holding the close with the smell of his cologne still on them. Terribly moving!
Kirk Douglas: What a career. When he died I’m sure he was still living off his Spartacus $$$$!
Tim Conway: His own self titled show, McHale’s Navy and The Carol Burnett Show. Not to mention his Disney movies! The man kept busy!

Kirk Douglas surely was one of Hollywood's greatest golden-era legends. His longevity fascinated my entire family.
Thomas "Tim" Conway was a great comedian who was indeed a principal member of the cast of McHale's Navy and The Carol Burnett Show. The Disney movies he was in were live-action films in the '70s and from 1998 to his death. They include "The Apple Dumpling Gang", "Air Bud: Golden Receiver", and the spin-off direct to DVD "Air Bud" films "Buddies". I remember him and many Millenials to Zoomers know him as the voice of "Barnacle Boy" in Spongebob, alongside his McHale's Navy comrade Ernest Borgnine who was the voice of "Mermaid Man."
Frank Zappa's rock was very psychedelic and progressive. One of his biggest hits was "Valley Girl". I understand why he is unmarked. Maybe for privacy reasons.
I had the pleasure to visit this cemetery last year and since Dignity Memorial owns the funeral home I work for, I had the privilege to enter the places that were off limits to the general public.
I get so bummed when he says "and finally" I don't want it to end!

Kirk Douglas was Jewish. I'm surprised he was not buried in one of the Jewish cemeteries in the Los Angeles area.
This is not “the” Kirk Douglas. The dates are wrong 1958-2004.
KIRK Douglas wasn't that good of a person. Natalie Wood said he raped her when she was 15 and he may have been involved with the disappearance of Jean Spangler in 1947

That is the date for his son Eric's death. It's very confusing and rather haphazard looking. Almost like an afterthought they just tossed Kirk's name up there. Quite strange.

That’s what hooked me and keeps me returning with each notification!
Tim Conway was a comedy genius, one of the funniest people God ever put on the planet! The Dentist and The Siamese Elephant sketches from the Carol Burnett Show are two of the funniest scenes in history, but he also had brilliant scenes with Carol Burnett in the recurring "Mr. Tudball and Mrs. Wiggins" sketches. Burnett said those characters were Conway's idea! Also had some hilarious Disney movies with the equally legendary Don Knotts, who is buried just a few yards away. Loved him as Ensign Parker in McHale's Navy too.
Christopher George also had a memorable role as a villainous hired gun who has a climactic showdown with John Wayne in
"El Dorado." You failed to mention he was also the uncle of Vanna White from "Wheel of Fortune."
Miss watching the Carol Burnett Show, it seemed like good clean fun.....
I used to work in a small restaurant, and a guy who worked for Alabama Power Company, would come in often, and we would kid him that he looked just like Tim Conway, only to find out he was stopped by people all the time wanting to know if he was indeed, Tim Conway! I had him to autograph a ticket for me as Tim. He thought it was hilarious!! We also had a local doctor that looked just like Joe Namath! Get a papsmear from that guy!! Sadly, the dr died on the tennis court at the local country club in the early 90s. But, you can see Joe on the sidelines at all the Bama games.
PS, the other dr in that office looked like singer, Glen Campbell.
I recently re-watched Fiddler on the Roof. Such a fantastic cast. So sad that many of them are now gone.
Louis Jourdan is one of my favorite villains on Columbo in the episode "Murder Under Glass". Who am I kidding, all of the actors who played villains on Columbo were great!
Louis Jourdan--my favorite actor. And his beautiful love story with his wife of over 60 years is so touching.

Kirk Douglas in Lust for Life is among my all-time favorites, I believe that Mr Douglas's own lust for life led to his amazing longevity.
I love that you do people we might not necessarily know about especially behind the scenes people animators, composers, etc. They all played important roles.

Tim Conway was such a brilliantly funny man and my childhood memories of him are from The Carol Burnett Show where his hilarious escapades live on.

It has been a long time since I visited Westwood. Bob Crane and Fanny Brice were relocated there from other cemeteries, and Josef Von Sternberg has a snappy new niche. In Hollywood even the dead get around.

Don Knotts and Tim were two of my favorites along with Abbott and Costello.

It is a riot from start to finish. I promise it is well worth the read if you were a fan of his.
