I had the pleasure of being one of the nurses for Coach Amir during his stay in rehab before his surgery. When I came back to work and heard the news I was devastated. He was such a genuine stand up man. Praying for his wife, children and family.
My 19 brother was sent to Glen Mills to finish high school because he was hanging out with the wrong ppl. He wanted to become a teacher, played basketball and excelled. He came home and started community college and was killed less than a year later while playing basketball. He really wanted to turn his life around and at his highest point he was taken. The light hearted part of this is at her funeral almost 50 guys from our community went to the altar to ask to be saved by Christ or repent. It was so bitter sweet. Growing up at the age of 14 my other brother and I did not expect to make it past 19. It definitely scared us but we plan and God plans are bigger. Prayers to you and your family and the family members of your friend❤
I needed this. My auntie(practically a second mom), passed away suddenly, at 42, in her sleep, no known causes yet. She started a nonprofit for autism and was having a great year. It was really taking off after i saw her building it from scratch. Ive been waiting to finish school to step into my purpose but life is too short to put stipulations on your calling. This message was right in time

🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽 I know having your program at the school can be done. I personally had to get permission from the district's administration office to operate a program I created for the youth. My program was approved following the proper protocols, but I also was required to get insurance to cover participants and there was a fee the school but I was also charging a fee. This was several years ago and in Texas, so it's possible that things are different now. You got this!
Tony, this message is for me. As a juvenile probation officer, I’ve wanted to mentor kids so they don’t end up in the criminal system because I see how it changes their lives for the worse. I was thinking of using the library to hold mentorship meetings with the kids, but I only have two kids in the public ready to participate. I felt like I needed more kids to start it up. I’m already a Big Sister in the Big Brother Big Sister program, just want to reach more kids because it’s rough out here. I gotta get going because we never know when our time will be up. Lastly, it was further confirmed when a lady who wanted me to start the mentor group at the library and add her daughter told me she’d even donate some of her food stamps to buy snacks for the group. Of course, I said no (though I appreciate her offering), lol. It was just more confirmation to get started.

I'm sorry for your loss, may you be comforted. I just want to say thank you for posting this video. I also want to say as someone who lost their primary parent- my father. The best thing he did for me was really take care of his business in terms of his end-of-life plans. My siblings didn't have to worry about paying for anything because he planned and paid for everything. Now as I look back I can see how much of a blessing it was because knowing that things were taken care of gave us space and time to deal with our grief... Without needing to worry about money or the various tasks.

I'm so sorry Tony 😢 I have dealt with a lot of loss, and usually whenever I get close to someone or am associated with the person in some kind of way the person dies too. When the Lord impresses someone on your heart, it always means to pray for that person. If you don't know what to pray for in regards to that person, praying for the salvation of that person never hurt anyone. 😊 Sometimes the Lord may wake you up in the middle of the night, and that means He wants you to spend time with Him in prayer. If you don't know what to pray for, you just ask the Lord to impress on your heart what He needs you to pray for.
