“ marriage is signing up for a headache”! Tony really hit the nail on the head. This is also why playing house while being a girlfriend is free labor and a scam! I would rather cook rice grain by grain than to go through it all as a play play wife or out of desperation.Being married is the only time where the sacrifice is accounted for.

As a divorced woman who was married for 10 years, I 1000% cosign with TG’s thoughts on the idiocy of pedestalizing and idolizing marriage. you will work your tail off and it’s not a game, most men are nasty and messy so you will have your kids plus another big kid. Marriage is beautiful and fun, but it’s also a battlefield. Enjoy being single!! Focus on you, God and those currently assigned to you.

💯 I've been married for over a decade. Women want it soooooo bad. That's why relationship channels are so popular and primarily filled with women. It is soooo overrated, and expectations of it are skewed. Marriage will grow you and challenge you, and it's not about you. It is 100% good and 100% hard.

I am going through a divorce after 16 years of marriage, and when I told another divorced woman I know (a highly educated professor to boot!) she replied earnestly, "Gosh, I hope you meet someone else!" 😮
I never said anything to her about having any such desire, particularly not after the issues I had with my ex controlling me and the alleged DV crisis we have in our country. Guess our programming is that deep afterall 😕

I’m married, Tony is 💯 right. Marriage is WORK. I look back to being single and I regret being so desperate. Single women romanticize marriage too much. There’s a reason men remarry and widows/divorced women stay that way. Marriage is most beneficial to the man.

Say it louder for the ones in the back...been married now for almost 16yrs...and every single thing you said is 100% truth. The Bible doesn't even approve divorce in cases of abuse...it will advise to seperate...that's how much that covenant means....divorce is only excused in cases of unfaithfulness and if the unbelieving spouse abandons the home...please, please, please ladies going into marriage is the closest covenant to God, that's why it's sacred and many have failed to fulfill that covenant fully. God bless you and your family Tony. May you all take refuge under His wings.

Thank you so much for sharing what scripture says about marriage. We are not meant to marry, divorce, and remarry if our first spouse is still living. If more people honored that commandment, I believe they’d be more patient and intentional about marriage. I truly feel I have one opportunity at marriage in the eyes of God, and I want my walk with Him to be pleasing.
Finding a man of God takes time, and in that time, I’m working on myself as a woman. Every day, I’m discovering areas to improve. Thank you, Tony, for addressing this in your videos. Many are hesitant to preach or teach the truth of scripture out of fear of society, but I fear the Lord alone, and His scriptures are my inspiration.
    Thanks again, Tony.

I will say I do not in any way feel rushed to get married. I’m ok where I’m at. I enjoy these videos because it has really helped me tremendously. Thank you for your obedience from God…

Hey Tony I and my husband are subscribers of yours for the message you teach and your walk with God.
It’s so hard in today’s world as a woman feeling like the duty of everything else in our home besides money, is my responsibility.
Especially after my husband has given me many reasons (lies and infidelity) to walk away.
Can you please explain to us married women, what the difference between “forgiveness” vs“Trust” is?
I feel like our counselors have coached me into a lifestyle with my husband that is far too emotionally expensive.
I was the stay at home wife since we met. And after multiple conflicts that left me feeling like I have no money to leave, I decided to go back to school.
But while doing so, I’m cleaning the house multiple times a day, grocery shopping and taking care for the kids all day. When he gets off of work, I ask for 2 hours of help so I can study and I’m not getting that. He isn’t aggressive, he is just lazy at things that are not work or dopamine related.
I have forgiven him , but it feels like the structure of the marriage is still too much.
Please please please give me godly counsel and more insight.
Or please make a video on this topic. I’m trying not to divorce but I don’t know how to keep up with his image of a wife without sacrificing my peace.
Can’t talk to the in laws because they are the reason he is this way. I also have no support system out side of a few friends. I have 3 years of school left . And I’m 32. My kids are 11 and 2.
I would like to stay married, but I want to be married Gods way. I don’t want to be miserable.

I have witnessed couples who lost their excitement after marrying, because they were looking at marriage only as a "Fairy Tale" and not a "Reality." Actually, marriage is the type of relationship that allows couples to be FREE. But, many couples forget about the LOVEBIRDS that they once were, and begin to feel that they are now in BONDAGE. However, marriage can be Drama-free and Peaceful, (with understanding) if mixed with the "Fairy Tale" and with the "Reality" of marriage. And this can happen by both, being creative and doing kind things that are UNEXPECTED, and not just waiting for traditional Holiday's, birthdays, anniversaries and Valentine's Day. They should also be "Respectful" and allow each other to maintain their individuality, so that they don't become uninterested with each other. Have fun, even if it's just pulling a prank on each other sometimes, because this keeps a spark in the marriage. And above all things, they should always keep God first in their marriage! 😊

All of this is so confusing. I totally romanticized marriage. I completely feel like I have made a huge mistake and now I have to figure out how to cope and make the best of decision. I have been in a marriage where I thought I was being a good wife but I feel completely neglected. This video is insightful but it also makes me believe that I don’t have much to look forward to in marriage. I kind of feel disappointed. I hear Tony state the things that he does for his wife and how understanding he is of all the things she does for the home and their children. Or how there are things she does for him. But husband is not that man. His only focus is work and the cleanliness of our home

I truly understand I was married for 10 years to a big emotional almost kid like when I had 5 children to raise ,but I wasn't as wise as I am now because I should have waited for marriage, but also it was a test and a lesson for me as well,it's a job, with a real job, parenting, cooking, cleaning ect...and to be married to a person who has difficulty communicating it's a headache. But I still believe in the union of marriage, but now I'm focusing on me and what I want to do not a relationship at all, I'm 60 and these so called Godly conferences are built on money mostly especially for these new age so called pastors, not all but most where these women as you said are deceived and spending money they don't have to attend conferences of these immoral people who really don't care about anything but the $ .Let God bring you a husband if he chooses to when he's ready. These conferences only promote a feel good thing, not correction or conviction, because that doesn't sell........

My marriage was a cakewalk for the first two years until chronic illness came into play. And, that was just the beginning of MANY struggles. But, no one thinks of those things prior to marriage, nor when they get along so perfectly. We would literally have conversations about how good we had it and then BOOM! To say that God has humbled us, would be a vast understatement. Marriage will TEST you. Be ready for anything and everything.

I use to listen to you years ago and stumbled on your channel again recently. Ive really noticed and enjoyed seeing your growth in your faith. Thank you for what you do. I do think you should start that church on relationships. It is what’s missing. I have been that fit, fashionable, faithful, celibate girl in church in LA for years now. I’m always disappointed in the lack of celibacy in the church. God Bless your family.

Thank you Tony for this video..i just happened to stop and watch it today. You made a lot of sense and explained topics in the spirit that gives us Christian women more insight on the word of God and more to think and pray about when it comes to marriage, prophets, speakers, ministers, fruits of the spirit,. We need to pay more attention and to ask the Holy Spirit to open our eyes to see, ears to hear and wisdom to understand with clarity when reading His word.

I am DIVORCING lol and believe it or not I never felt like I wanted to be single when I was married. I loved being in my marriage but he had that spirit of lil ugly on him and was just mean when he was angry. He didn't show this side UNTIL about 4 years in when he lost his job. Everything went downhill in the matter of 10 months. From being a great husband to a grown boy that threw temper tantrums. I couldn't believe my eyes. Counseling with a pastor and life coach and months of therapy he still was throwing tantrums. I filed for divorce and stood on business...it'll be final in a month. I'm in a new relationship now and MAN day and night. He's so different and I'm definitely getting married again but sometimes you won't know. You can use all the discernment in the world and still end up DIVORCED...or stuck in a crazy marriage. Sometimes you don't know how evil a man can be until he feels like he's hit rock bottom. Which may never happen or might happen months in.

Tony brotha, u ain't lying when you say the Devil will send a Decoy or Counterfeit spouse, before the real deal, cause remember the Devil KNOWS what WE LIKE👀 When we "Date" we need to collect proper counsel from on high (Jesus), or else it's Consequences and Repercussions. 'Member mi tell ya' (Jamaican Accent). 😌
