in islam we strictly believe in the concept of "One God" and that "One God" in Arabic is called "Allah".
Idol worship is strictly prohibited in islam.
islam teaches us that God is the creator of the heavens and of the universe and also the lord of Humanity.
islamic scholars of India have been telling their students for a long time not to make fun of "Sri Ram" or "Sri Krishna".
The concept of God in islam says : God is One, God is Light , God does not take birth and does not give birth to anyone.
in islam we believe that there is no image of God. No Sight can Perceive God. That's why there is no picture or statue of God in the Masjid.
Those islamic scholars of India who learned Sanskrit say "Sri Ram and Sri Krishna are righteous, saintly people and never claimed to be God".
islamic scholars of India also say that Sri Ram and Sri Krishna might have been prophets of God.
      Hope that helps.

AL FATIHA: SHOW US THE WAY
The Qur’an opens with a prayer and ends with a prayer. The opening chapter which is a prayer is called al Fatiha. It has seven verses. From verse 4, it says,
“Thee alone do we worship; thine aid we seek. Show us the straight path (or way). The path of those on whom thou hath bestowed Thy favour (or grace); not the path of those whose portion is wrath nor those who go astray”.
Show us the straight path - the right way to God! To walk in the right way is the whole essence of religion, and so that prayer is one of the greatest outcries of a heart yearning for God.
Our first question, however, is: When will this prayer of the Muslim be answered?
Muslims repeat this prayer everyday in their salat - ritual daily devotional prayer. Even during a prayer session, this prayer Al Fatiha, is repeated several times; and about seventeen times in a day. If you are a good Muslim praying five times a day, you repeat this particular prayer ten times at the very least before the end of the day. Tomorrow you will do the same thing. And this continues until you die.
If you are indeed a Muslim, I wish to ask you: Has Allah answered your prayer? If no, when will this prayer be answered? Maybe your answer is: “Yes, he has answered the prayer.”
Let us imagine somebody who is single and he is praying to God for a marriage partner; by the time he gets married, does he continue with that prayer? If he is still praying that prayer, it means he is not satisfied with the marriage.
If as a Muslim you still repeat that prayer everyday, have you ever considered what this indicates? Does it not indicate that the straight path is outside the path you are following at the moment? Does it not mean that the way you are following now is not the straight path? How does that sound to you?
    “Show us the straight path.”
“Show us the straight path, the path of those whom Thou hast favoured;” (Pickthall).
Who are those on whom God has bestowed His favour - His grace - in the area of salvation? Here the Qur’an indicates that salvation by the favour and grace of God is the only straight path. But Islam still teaches that man must struggle and work his own salvation through the Five Pillars of Islam. Christianity says you can be saved by the grace of God only, and that this grace is available through Christ.
“For by grace are ye saved, and not of yourselves; it is the gift of God; not of works, lest any man should boast” (Ephesians 2:8-9).
In some areas in the Qur’an, the book is trying to say that if one is following Islam, that is a straight path. But a Muslim should understand that if he is going to repeat this prayer, “Show us the straight path”, it means the straight path is outside what he is following at the moment.
Somebody, however, said, “I am the way, the truth and the life, no one goes to the Father except by me” (John 14:6).
The Bible directs man to the right path, the path of salvation by the grace of God; it shows us how we can be made children of God. The Qur’an asks man to be praying five times daily to Allah to show one the right path. And this prayer must be repeated by the Muslim daily until he dies.
In John 8:37, Jesus told some Jewish religious leaders, “I know you are Abraham’s seed …” But he had already told them, “…and ye shall die in your sins ”(verse 21). In verse 24, He said this again two times: “Ye shall all die in your sins”.
Jesus acknowledged that these Jews were indeed Abraham’s seed, having some pillars they claimed their faith stood upon. But He knew they had not overcome their sins and did not acknowledge Him for Who He was.
Here we see that being a descendant of Abraham or saying that Abraham is the father of our religion and our nation does not save anybody from sin. “Therefore said I unto you that ye shall die in your sins; for except ye believe that I am He (what I say I am - the Son of God, the Messiah and Saviour) ye shall die in your sins”( John 8:24).
The Lord Jesus gave the story of a man, a real descendant of Abraham, who found himself in torment of Hell. Abraham called him “son”, but that could not deliver him from the torment of hell (Luke 16:24-25, 30).
There are no pillars of any religion that have been able to deal with the sin-problem. Even though a Muslim practices all the Five Pillars of Islam, yet he must continue to pray for God to show him the right way until his life expires. Why haven’t the Five Pillars of Islam led to the straight way? We shall now examine the Five Pillars and see what exactly Jesus taught on them.

Cheistains pray without ceasing. Do they?
Show us the way means 'humility' and they will attain and walk in that straight path when they die.

You do know half of the Arab world is inbred, right?” There are at least two reasons inbreeding is so common in parts of the Muslim world (in addition to ignorance of its link to genetic defects): tradition and religion.
In many parts of the Islamic world, it’s considered unusual if not offensive to marry someone outside of one’s family or tribe. The pressure to marry a family member can be intense
One study found that each year 700 babies in the UK are born with genetic disabilities as a result of consanguineous marriage. Despite this epidemic of genetic defects in babies born from consanguineous marriages, there remains a reluctance in many Islamic leaders to acknowledge the full ramifications of marriage between cousins.
