Thank you for this video. I have a passenger fender in the garage I need to install. Wow, a bit of an ordeal to remove the fender. Those rusted parts can turn things into a larger undertaking. Anyway, I know what I’m getting into now, thank you.
Thanks for an excellent video. I was debating doing this or just pop riviting over the hole to pass inspection. Driver side looks easier than passenger side; and I saw it coming that the battery tray needed to come out. I don't have that black box and stuff on my 2006. Looks like you got new plastic fender edges too. And the funny little JEEP logo.
Two of the three holes for my washer bottle are missing or in the wrong place so I need to drill two holes and tap them. Mine is stock and the hardest part was putting the stock fender flairs back on.
one of the Best, most detailed videos for fender replacement. I got to say, a lot of guys just tell you what they already did, I prefer to See, what they did ( what size socket, what problems you encountered) . where did you get the replacement fenders and how much did they cost? my 05 has bad rust on passenger side above right front tire
Sorry i didnt make myself clear. Is there somewhere else to get them with the wheel tub. Yours show not in stock. Everything I find is without the wheel tub
Thanks! I think i mentioned at the end of the video how long it took. Is been a while since i posted but i think i said 1.5 - 2 hours per side on average. If you don't run into problems it could be faster.
No I got them painted at a local body shop. I would paint them myself but in this case we got the whole car painted so adding the fenders in was not much more.
Great job on this video and explaining the steps and challenges you delt with during the removal.
Even with significant rust, he made the job look easy! A little PB Blaster sprayed on rusted hardware could help with your next project. Great work!!
Thanks for making this video! I just bought my first Jeep and the Fenders are rusted through. This video is going to help a ton! 😊
Thanks, this was a huge help and gave me the confidence to do this myself
Great video! You explained everything so well. Thank you so much. Next on my “To-Do” list.
Great video!!!

GREAT VIDEO! Literally my next project for the jeep. Haha.
Thanks, good luck!

If i remember right I put links in the video description for where to purchase on Amazon.
Great 'how to' video, thanks!
Awesome video and links to products. I'm curious what it ran you to have the fenders color matched at the shop. Thanks!
Thanks! When we got the fenders painted the rest of the Jeep was painted with it. I think for the fenders only I was quoted around 350.
Do the bolts listed in description replace the bolts attached to fenders?
Yes, they are for the side that connects the fender to the Jeep.
Nice video thanks, im getting ready to do this but i cant find the fenders you have. Where did you get them? How much were they?
Thanks! I got them off Amazon and linked them in the video description.

I would suggest checking out ebay. I'm sure you can find everything there. You might have to search everything separately, but they should have it.
Do the gloves help ?
The help to stay clean and prevent me from getting cuts from the metal parts or wracking my knuckles.
What does the black box do on the passenger side
It is part of the emissions system and is called "Emissions Evaporator Charcoal Canister"
Box under the battery is a vacuum canister 4 the HVAC system
Very thorough and well made video man! Starting this project as soon as the Jeep get back from the shop. Any estimate on how long it took?

Yeah, the bottom boats are tough unless you heat it up with a torch you don’t wanna break nothing
Did you paint the fenders yourself?

They are called *christmas tree fasteners*
Well I now know I'm not doing this. I'll pay someone lol
I don’t think it’s a 5/16 I think it’s an 8 mm but go ahead
