Thank you for the comment! I think Scott Walkers music is great so it's sad that he maybe went a bit under-appreciated. I feel that way about Nick Drake who is adored by many but was heavily critiqued in his time.
Thank you Chai you’re always so kind to me! That would be a great name and reason for a son. Instead of singing Happy Birthday it would be “naaaa naaaa naaaaa nanananaaaaaaa Heeyyy Juuude” with someone in the back going JUDEY JUDEY JUDEYYY
Hi ! - Happy New Year to you. Welcome to the Vinyl Community. Enjoyed your Tag 24 video. Amy Winehouse was a good choice but you need to get some Stevie Wonder or Marvin Gaye’s What’s Going on. Where in Scotland are you based? As a fellow Scot it’s great to hear your accent. When I do a thread response I often have to show CDs. I love Rattle and Hum. When Love comes to Town is an all time favourite. I must listen to your guitar playing videos. Cheers Bill
Hi Bill! Thank you for the lovely comment and you’re absolutely right I still need to listen to What’s Going On, there’s just too much music to get through! I’m based around Lanark but I’ve lived 95% of my life in the middle of Glasgow. How about yourself? Also I would love to hear what you think of the guitar videos, feedback is always appreciated negative or not.
Totally agree, not a bad song on Scott 4. Jolene and Autobahn are fantastic shouts… Dolly has loads of good albums and is very underrated as a songwriter. Really enjoyed your choices!
Thank you! I wonder if she gets overlooked sometimes due to being a country artist? I find that a very solid chunk of people when asked what genre they don’t like it tends to be country music.
@@SomeoneElsesNostalgia Yep, I think its cause there's a lot of cheesy country stuff out there. I think she went that way in the 80s a bit, but her 60s and 70s stuff is class. Loads of great country artists out there likr John Prine, Townes Van Zandt, Blaze Foley etc.
A great tag and fun. Loved your picks and loved doing mine...
Hey! Just found your channel, thanks for the shoutout! Great responses to the questions as well. 😁✌
Hi Bryer! It’s great to have you here, I appreciate you coming along.
A very enjoyable selection, Scott 4 is a great album though at the time not many people bought it….👍

Great video!
Your hair is still my favorite.
Beatles... Hey Jude is my life. If I ever had a son I'd name him Jude souly because of this song.

@@SomeoneElsesNostalgia 🤣😂🤣😂 You're the best. It would totally be that way.
Nice choices!
Thank you Marcia it’s great to see you here!

I love a bit of Townes Van Zandt myself
