- I am traveling by a $25 bus to Laos from Bangkok, Thailand. The trip takes about 10,5 hours and provides a toilet on the bus.
The seat turned out to be pretty comfortable as well.

Thank you
You are welcome!
I thought there would be beds on the bus. 😂 Did the grocery store have anything other than snickers and ice cream?
Yeah, I was thinking the same. There are no beds, but you can lean back pretty low... So it's really comfortable to sleep. There lots of cafes at the stop, I am not sure 30 baht is gonna cover all the food. But there is a choice
Great video, thank you!
I would like to get a visa on arrival at the Lao border. Does the bus wait until the visa is ready?
Sure! Everyone gets it upon arrival
@@thriftybackpacking8279 Thanks for the information! Greetings from Europe!
Did you get a visa on entry at border,? and how much was it ? I want to go to Laos next time I'm over there. Just subscribed to your channel. Thanks
Luckily enough, I didn't have to get a visa, and got a 30-day entry upon arrival. You still have to check the requirements, though. Some countries do need a visa
Thanks for the nice vedio brother. I just want to ask if where or what is the name of the bus station you ride frim bangkok to laos? Hoping for your responce, thank you
It's called "Mochit"
Thank you,
Did you book your ticket online or you can buy them in person?
Both are possible
@@thriftybackpacking8279 hi, do you know what the website is? tried to find on 12goasia but it's only until Nong Khai which is the border. Not sure that's the bus tho.
How did you pay on the border for your visa?
There is a booth where you pay. Everything was more or less well organized
hey may I know what time you arrived at Laos?
I don't remember exactly, somewhere in the morning around 7 or 9
@@thriftybackpacking8279 oh thank you, what time do you leave from mochit station? that's last bus?
I can't say for sure, you need to check their schedule daily. One of the options is to check on 12asiago or other websites that sell tickets. If you want to save money, it's always cheaper to buy the ticket at the bus station
Bro where is this bus terminal located in bangkok.
Mochit terminal
