Fiyuuuu Very expensive price..The bus very old.I am writing from Türkiye. I am currently living in the world's highest inflationary and most expensive period. 1 dollar has become 33 TL. Fuel prices are very high, costs have increased excessively, the value of the Turkish lira is floating around everywhere. But even in our country, the bus ticket price is cheapest and you have the very expensive one. It is like half of this and is made with extremely luxury passenger (like passenger planes) Mercedes Travego buses that are at most 5 years old. (Those who are familiar with Türkiye Passenger Buses know that traveling foreigners know that it is not like Asian buses with beds and lights, etc., but like passenger planes, you travel in first class with 1+2 seats.) So, I was surprised when I watched it.🎉

What a great trip. Ah yes, another bus trip, and what make it special, it's a bus trip report abroad. Thankfully you are survived on this long trip. First of all, is your Filipino friends still with you after Nong Khai? Looks like you are alone after disembark from Cross Border bus. Fun fact, Thailand and Laos have different driving side (Thailand on the left side, Laos on Right side), and since the First Bus is gift from Japan which is driving on Left Side, when driving in Laos it seems anomaly but when entering Thailand it's going normal. Bumpy road is something common in some countries in Southeast Asia. The second bus, well actually in behind your bus there's some better buses which looks like also running to Bangkok, which on the other hand the ticket price would be higher than your bus. I think the standard of resting time for long distance bus is between 15-30 minutes, so it's normal for having heavy meal at there. In my country, yes 16 hours onboard long distance bus is long trip, but it isn't the longest, since there's many bus route taking nearly a week to reach their destination.
